For years I have enjoyed high quality sound devices in various devices. These Jabra Elite 7 Pro are an appalling example of 'Pro' grade headphones. The Sony 1000's and the Liberty 3 Pro are far better options.

I have the Jabra 65T Elite which are 3-4 years old and I love em. They work great. I use em for 3+ hours a day for work calls. I decided to upgrade for a smaller earpiece and USB C charging. Big mistake. I immediately did the software update hoping it would fix all the issues people had. Still one earpiece wouldn't charge more then 20%. Both earpieces wouldn't stay connected to my phone. After 3 days of trying to figure it out. I just returned them to BB (which was super easy) and figured I'd wait until they deliver a more complete product next year (hopefully)

I have long been a fan of Jabra wireless earbuds. The app is very useful and helps you craft sound the way you want it. The new Elite Pro 7 earbuds are some of the most comfortable earbuds I have used. They are significantly smaller than any other Jabra earbud. They feel light. Interestingly, they come with only three different sized tips, but that worked perfectly for me. The Elite 7 Pro earbuds use bone conduction technology to cut down on wind noise during calls. I think it helps, but I would not call it a complete success. The Hear Through setting works great, as usual. But the active noise canceling seems a tad light. You can tell as significant difference, but they block noise nearly as well as prior Jabra earbuds. Likewise, bass is a weak spot in the sound field. That appears to a tradeoff for the reduced size. Otherwise the sound is clear to slightly warm. The Elite 7 Pro does a very nice job of sound reproduction in the mid and upper ranges. Bass doesn't get distorted, but it also only has so much oomph. But the battery lasts a long time, and they are super comfortable. For that reason, they have quickly become my favorite pair of buds to grab when my dog and I head into the woods for a hike. And the Hear Through transparency mode makes sure I can still hear everything around us. I like these earbuds a lot. I wish they had a bit more bass and better noise canceling. But they are still quite good.

Call quality not better than the Jabra 85T

I was very excited when Jabra introduced the elite 7 Pro with its emphasis on call quality. When I actually tested the unit out I found that my callers could not hear what I was saying and that my original Jabra 85Ts were better. So I returned the 7 pro because they did not live up to the promise of better call quality.

    Right Earbud Dead?

After less than a day using these the right earbud is already dead. I use these at work so I like to only use one ear at a time. First half of the day I was using only the right side and everything was good. Midway through the day I switched to only using the left side and put the right side back in the case. Then when I wanted to use both sides, I took the right earbud out and there was no sound. So I decided to put both sides back in the case let it sit for a bit then took them out and it reconnected but only the left side works. Unfortunately I will need to return these cause when they do work they sound great. ANC was a bit lackluster however. Sometimes I couldn't even tell the difference when it was on or off.

We purchased the Jabra ear buds in January and they stopped working the day AFTER the return window. Only one earbud works. We have tried everything suggested by the company and nothing works. Jabra is not cooperating and we have had nothing but pushback from them on this problem. We expected them to be superior because we purchased the top of the line model that BB had in stock. Now we have to go without while the items are sent back to Jabra… if they agree to honor their warrantee. This is not acceptable. How can a product die with minimal use.. (they were only used a total of two hours tops…. just 21 days from purchase. Why would BB only have a 20 day return window??? Do they not have confidence in the products they are selling??

I own both the Jabra Elite Active 75t and the Jabra Elite 85t earbuds. I am very happy with both. I was really looking forward to the Jabra Elite 7 Pro because of the ability to use either earbud independently. Sadly, the Jabra engineers need to go back to the drawing board. Pro: the Jabra Elite 7 Pro has very good ear fit, and the ability to use either earbud works very well. Con: There is currently no multi-link connection with the Jabra Elite 7 Pro - you can have only one device connected at a time. The ANC on the Jabra 7 Elite Pro is horrendous or put another way, the ANC is practically non existent. Unless Jabra can correct the ANC issue, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro is not worth the money. The lack of multi-link is inconvenient, but not a show stopper.

These are probably the worst wireless earbuds I have purchased. In the past, I have owned multiple Jabra earbuds in addition to other brands. These earbuds DO NOT stay paired to your phone. The connection either randomly drops or won't connect at all. The main reason I bought these earbuds is for phone calls. The call quality is average at best, definitely not worth $200.

Hello - Thank you for reviewing the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. We're sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience with the headset as this is not what we expect. We recommend reloading the current firmware on the earbuds with the following steps.
In the Jabra Sound + app, go to settings (wheel icon at the top of the start screen), select "Personalize your headset," and then select "Voice guidance language." Choose the one that is currently selected, then "Update now." Follow the on-screen instructions to Download and install the firmware. Do this regardless of whether the firmware is currently up-to-date. If this does not resolve your challenges please reach out to our Product Support team at your earliest convenience by clicking on the following link. Hello Daveed1013- Thanks for your review of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. We are sorry you are not satisfied with the Elite 7 Pro compared to the Jabra Elite 85t and Jabra Elite Active 75t. The Jabra Elite 7 Pro features both Passive Noise Cancelation and Active Noise Cancelation. With Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned on, you will get a powerful combination of ANC and PNC that ensures a high degree of total noise cancellation. However, because of the effective PNC, some users may not perceive a noticeable difference in ANC level.
To achieve optimal comfort and sound quality with the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, the fit of the earbuds is essential. With the right size EarGels, the earbuds will create a tight seal in your ear canal to reduce audio leakage and provide a fuller sound experience. While inserting the earbuds into your ears, twist the earbuds lightly until it feels comfortable and the microphones are pointing down towards your mouth. Try all three sizes of the provided EarGels until you find the fit that gives you the best combination of comfort and sound quality. You are welcome to check out this FAQ for help finding your best fit with the Jabra Elite 7 Pro: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-pro/100-99172701-98/faq/How-do-I-get-the-best-fit-with-my-Jabra-Elite-true-wireless-earbuds. Another great entry from Jabra

I've been carrying an older set of Jabra earbuds around in my pockets for a few years now, and they have served me well. But after daily brushes with my phone, keys, and in one instance a near miss with a washing machine (oops) they've been starting to show signs of their age. So when the opportunity to pick up the latest and greatest version arose, I was eager to see what they'd come up with. And it turns out Jabra's been very busy. If you've never owned a set of Jabra earbuds before, I can't say that you can go wrong getting started now. They may not have the name recognition of some of the luxury brands, but they can easily match them blow for blow when it comes to features and audio quality. The sound you get out of these is amazingly rich for their size, the built in microphones offer great utility for phone calls or video conferences, and they hold themselves in your ear amazingly well provided you've got the right plugs installed. All in all they offer a decidedly premium experience. If like me you've already got a set of Jabra buds, you'll likely be very pleased to see the improvements they've made. The earbuds are significantly lighter than the previous generation, making them more comfortable for extended use (essential if like me you like to use them for remote meetings.) The case now features wireless charging and a longer lifespan which makes them far more convenient for all day use, though this does come at the cost of a slight increase in size and weight. And the new ANC feature has significantly improved the already great passive noise isolation. And if you really want to dial things in but don't have any of the expertise to do so, the updated app combined with the improved mics in the Elite 7 Pro means they can self-adjust some of their more fiddly features to really dial in the sound quality and noise cancellation. I'll admit that I don't have the kind of ear needed to really tell how good a job the app does at this, but I can definitely say it is doing something. I've been using it pretty extensively for a few days, and found that overall it works more or less as you'd expect. The system meant to automatically detect wind noise and switch to bone conduction for voice pickup was a little unreliable my first day, but after that I applied a firmware update which seemed to improve performance somewhat. Audio is definitely better with the mics when they're available, but the bone conduction option is definitely good enough. The noise cancellation also definitely worked better on louder engine noises than it did on household fans, air purifiers, and other electronic noises, so they may not be the best pick if that's your main concern. That said they also didn't produce the same kind of persistent pressure in your ear canals that I've noticed on other more thorough noise cancelling headphones and earbuds, so if you expect to be wearing these throughout the day they're a little less headache inducing. And while I still wouldn't call them my first pick for strenuous activity or exercise, I was unable to dislodge them from my head no matter how firmly I shook myself around on walks and light runs with my dog. It definitely feels like a product primarily being aimed at professional users who need a portable and lightweight option for hands free calls. I can't really say that I've ever seen a set of earbuds that put this much effort into making sure that call quality remains consistently good regardless of ambient audio, something that I feel most earbuds treat as an afterthought at best. That said, I can't say I spotted anything that's been cut in service of that goal. They are remarkably solid all-rounders, and a worthy successor to my own battered pair.
