Hello MiguelBatz - Thank you for taking the time to review the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. We regret to hear your experience while trying to activate HearThrough. We recommend reloading the firmware on your headset with the following steps to address this challenge. In the Jabra Sound + app, go to settings (wheel icon at the top of the start screen), select "Personalize your headset," and then select "Voice Guidance Language." Choose the one that is currently selected, then "Update now." Follow the on-screen instructions to Download and install the firmware. Do this regardless of whether the firmware is currently up-to-date. If you are still experiencing the challenge please reach out to our Product Support team so they can further assist you. https://bit.ly/3m9pVXz Jabra

    awesome buds

The Elite 7 Pro Wireless Noise Canceling earbuds are a compact well-made pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds. They are towards the higher end of the Jabra line and provide great performance and are still priced competitively. As with most earbuds they come with other size interchangeable buds, the default installed medium buds seemed to be most comfortable in my ear. I will say that since the control buttons are on the surface of each bud they do feel like they are getting pushed in to your ear canal a bit when pressing them. These are active noise cancelling (ANC) earbuds and that feature really works well. These were easy to pair via Bluetooth to my iPhone 12 pro and laptop. The package includes a small instructional insert, the well done mobile app really shines, providing a lot of information regarding the operation of these earbuds. I was really impressed with the setup routine, it asks a few questions (age, gender) and then goes through a routine of various tones (almost like a hearing test) to configure the earbuds based on your feedback and responses (pressing a button in the app every time you hear a frequency of a specific tone). This is where Jabra’s background in devices which are used for hearing enhancement really gives them an edge. The buds sit in a little carry case/charging station, which charges the ear buds and provides a battery source for another recharge cycle if needed. I found the USB-C connection on the case a bonus and is fundamentally a better connection than older USB interfaces. The case also is a bit magnetic, so the ear buds are pulled in for charging and remain secure. This is definitely an improvement from an earlier pair of non-Jabra wireless earbuds I have which are a bit finicky to place in the changing case, so I found this feature great. The app also provides a “find my buds” feature if you enable location services which is a helpful if you misplace them. The sound reproduction is accurate with a good deal of dynamic range, the mobile app provides a graphic equalizer and a bunch of different sound profiles. The buds also have a passthrough mode so you can hear ambient sound without removing them from your ears. I also used the buds on a few Zoom calls while working from home and was very pleased with how they performed. The built-in microphones utilize the expertise Jabra has gained over the years in creating business class headsets. Not having to have a wired set of earbuds attached to my HP computer really comes in handy. Pairing these earbud was easy which can sometimes be a challenge for Windows devices. At the pool I found they to provided numerous hours of use without the need of a recharge. The Bluetooth connection (version 5.2) was rock solid indoors and out, without any dropouts and good range (even indoors between walled rooms). Outdoors the range was substantially further than what they are rated. These are an excellent pair of true wireless earbuds, providing performance which exceeded my expectations. Pros: - sound great - Flawless Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity - Nice, feature laden mobile app - Easy and thorough setup routine - Very good voice functionality, works well with teleconferencing and phone calls - Nice charging/holding case with built in battery and USB-C jack for charging battery case. Cons: - None

My first Total wireless earbuds was Jabra elite 65t. I thought to upgrade to 7 pro, because it was small and comfortable and would be good sounding buds but this earbud is so so bad. 1. The latency is so bad, watching videos on youtube and netflix there is lag of 10 seconds. 2. Static noise on either earbuds while phone call. 3. Delay between switching to another device. 4. Gaming lag

Returned, disappointing vs. Elite Active 75t

After several weeks of active use, I've returned my Elite 7 Pro and reverted back to my Elite Active 75t, for two big reasons: 1) Performance: Many complaints from friends and family about my mic audio quality on phone calls, esp. while I was driving, and they tell me it's much better after I switch to my 75t on the same call. I also had an experience where the other person's audio was garbled unless I muted my 7 Pro earpiece. I was really looking forward to better wind noise reduction on the 7 Pro, but it seems something isn't right with the 7 Pro call audio processor for my situations (and yes, firmware is current). 2) Case Design: What was Jabra thinking on this change? This new case design isn't significantly smaller, and it's virtually impossible to flip open with a single hand. I've repeatedly fumbled and dropped the case trying to open it, even with two hands. If my hands are clean and dry, there's not enough grip to open the case, I have to get my fingernail into the groove. #2 is a deal killer, even if the audio call quality was fixed. I also didn't notice any improved comfort of 7 Pro vs. 75t or Active 75t in my ears.

Many issues with the app, with the first and most critical being the inability to update the headphones so they can use multi-point connectivity. They sound great, but without the ability to connect to Jabra's app, they only skim the surface of what they can do. Can't recommend when there are so many other worthy competitors out there.
