Sound great. Good connection. Good for working out

If I could give these headphones 0 stars I would. The Jabra product sounded great and worked for maybe an hour. I used them prior to going to bed, put them in their case, and set them on my nightstand. Woke up in the morning and thwent to use them to work out and lthe left bud would not react to anything. Completely bricked. These didnt even make it 24 hours before becoming non-functional.This is completely unacceptable to loose full functionality in less than 24 hours. DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY! I am returning today and picking up a different brand. This was after my Jabra Elite 7s left ear bud was loosing power extremely fast. I am done with Jabra products.

The sound is great however, they continue to drop calls and that was the reason I moved to earphones.

I’d like to start off my review by saying that these earbuds are worth it if you’re an active person who wants “a do it all” earbuds you can workout with these in your ears without needing to constantly adjust them

I live in an area where its mainly hot and humid, so I sweat a lot when I go jogging. These buds did not slip out at all and I felt confident even when trail running that they wouldn’t pop out. I’ve had problems in the past with other earbuds that wouldn’t stay in my ears when I’m running hard, but no worries here. The robust construction and water-resistant design give you peace of mind, knowing your investment is well-protected. The ergonomic design of these earbuds ensures a secure and comfortable fit, even during vigorous activities. They come with multiple ear tip options, allowing you to find the perfect fit for your ears. The only slight drawback is that after extended use (several hours), some users may experience a bit of discomfort. However, this is a minor concern compared to the overall comfort and stability. The active noise cancelling is very good, but not great. At the gym it does a good job cancelling out the very loud and annoying background music my gym plays, but I can still hear it, although at a much less louder volume. The battery life is impressive, offering up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, with an additional 24 hours from the USB-C charging case. This is more than sufficient for most people's daily use. However, if you're an extreme power user you might need to charge them more frequently. Pairing the Elite 8 Active with my iPhone and iPad was effortless, and the multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 connection remained stable throughout my testing. The touch controls on the earbuds are intuitive, allowing you to adjust volume, skip tracks, answer calls, and activate voice assistants such as Siri with ease. In summary, the Jabra Elite 8 Active In-ear Headphones are fantastic for active individuals. These came highly recommended to me and Im hugely disappointed in the performance. The sound quality is great for listening to music but I mainly use them for talking on the phone. When I move from an inclosed space like my car or a small room to outdoors or a larger room the person on the other end always says they can barely hear me and the background noise is extremely loud. The only thing I can do is hang up and call them back to correct it. I have the app downloaded and have tinkered with the settings but nothing helps.

The Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds are a good choice for anyone looking for affordable wireless earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling for fitness or travel. There are 3 pairs of different-sized ear tips included in the box, along with the case for the earbuds. The Elite 8 are marketed as the world's toughest earbuds, and they just might be. When I took them out of the box, they have a black rubber texture that is different than most other earbuds. They felt very solid, far from how cheap plastic earbuds feel. Both the earbuds (IP68) and case (IP54) are dustproof and waterproof. The earbuds can go underwater up to 1.5 meters. The earbuds are rated at the Military Standard 810H which means they can handle high temps and humidity. I dropped them multiple times from ear height and they had no issue. I held them under standing water in a sink for a few minutes and they had no issue. They never voluntarily fell out of my ear while jogging or playing basketball; I don't believe I have ever owned a pair of earbuds that stayed in my ear while shooting hoops. Jabra calls the fit SecureGrip and I would say that is an accurate way of describing it. For earbuds, I thought the sound quality was really nice out of the box, especially the bass levels. These do support Dolby Audio Spatial Sound. There is a Jabra app which can update the firmware, allows for personalization, and provides a customizable equalizer along with some preset EQ settings. There are push button controls on the earbuds, but another use of the app is that you can turn on the adaptive Active Noice Cancelling (ANC). This is the second highest level of ANC offered by Jabra earbuds and I thought it did a fantastic job. Where I live, there are always big loud trucks going by and they were drowned out when the ANC was on. I couldn't hear a high-pitched vacuum being run nearby, either. I think if ANC is a priority, it is going to be hard to beat a full headset but these do a remarkable job for an earbud. The earbuds provided me with 9 hours of playtime with the ANC turned off, and the charge case provides about another 24 hours of playtime. With ANC turned on, that will go down to some degree but I found that to be more than enough charge time either way. One feature that is nice is that you can wirelessly charge the earbuds, if needed. The Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds do so much very well. There is competition in this space from Beats Fit and Airpods, but I don't think those brands have the complete package of good sound, good ANC, good battery life, rugged toughness, and being waterproof. For me, I would recommend these earbuds for working out and for travel, and really for all uses.

They stay in place MUCH better then the Beats that I own with no loss of sound quality and $100 cheaper. Haven't used my beats since I got these.

First two weeks the earbuds were amazing. Great sound quality. Easy to use. Perfect for what I was looking for and exactly as advertised. However, I have to question the “Military-grade durability” statement. When crouched to tie my shoe the left earbud happened to slip out and fall to the floor. Now that earbud frequently begins “clicking” while audio is playing. Granted it is not 100% of the time but to carry the claim of “Military-grade” and at this price point, one would expect these to withstand an accidental fall from +/- 2 feet.

I use these earbuds as work earbuds, not the best noise canclling if there is alot of noise around, especially loud machinary, but for daily use they are good.

Sound quality is good but left ear bud constantly disconnected during Teams meetings.

Excellent purchase so far. The Sales Associate was very patient and knowledgeable. These Jabra Elite outperform my previous earbuds in every relevant category.

Best ear bud in the business hands down!! I have the active 7 and bought these for my fiancé cause he loved mine and he went through them all Beats, Bose, Samsung and he said non of them compared to the Jabras!!!

Decent headphones definitely stay in the ear just dont feel the noise cancelling as good as the beats fit pro

I've tried a long list of wireless earbuds. Jabra is never the best sounding or have the best ANC, but they are always the most secure and most comfortable. They are perfect for jogging or the gym.

It doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything. But I've experienced connectivity issues that I didn't with the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. And they sound great but I've heard better.

These were the worst earbuds I have ever had. The fit did not feel right and I have never had an issue with earbuds. I tried both medium and large and it did not feel good at all. I tried to look past that and continued using them but if I left an ear bud out of the case and put it in my ear, I had to put it back in the case to get it to reconnect before I could use it again. Extremely annoying. I also had issues with the right ear bud connecting. I typically use only one ear bud so I can maintain some sort of situational awareness and I could not get the right earbud to work independently. I had to put both ear buds in then take the left out in order for it to work. Also annoying.
