Definitely a solid 4.5. The are very comfortable and stay in your ears well even in a full run. They have great noise cancelation qualities. The only reason I took the .5 off is sometimes it takes them a minute to connect, or one will connect and the other wont so you have to take it out of your ear and place it back in. This isn't a huge issue just a small annoyance.

Overall, a great pair of earbuds. I use them primarily for exercise (running), and while getting chores done around the house. For exercise I find them very comfortable. They move less than my prior Jabra Elite 75t Actives, though I needed to swap out the medium size ear cushions for the small ones. The main problem I have with these is 1) the hear through is not nearly as good as the prior 75T models, and 2) the ANC just doesn't cancel out all the noise, particularly in environments that change a lot. Overall, im very happy, but i just wish the ANC were better. The sound quality is very good for a waterproof earbud. One last gripe I have is the inability to change the volume when set up for Google Assistant.

My favorite pair of ear buds by far. I have several different ear buds and these are my go-to when I want secure fitting and great sounding buds. They are tough, waterproof (within reason I suppose) and I love they have actual buttons. The sound is definitely better than my Air Pod 2 and the fit much more secure. The AirPods randomly fall out regardless of which size ear tip I choose, it’s very frustrating. The Jabras have never fallen out during any activity. I absolutely love them and pair super fast and easy.

Surprisingly incredible! I own the Samsung ear buds and the were ok. Sound was pretty good, but the kept falling out even after changing the cushions. I bought these to have a second pair and quickly made them my only pair! The fit is perfect, they're comfortable for hours, the sound is incredible, and noise canceling is awesome. The only thing i would change is the app. Its pretty good, but they can do a lot more. It would be nice to have the ear buds read out notificatioms like the Samsungs do. Other than that, hands down incredible earbuds. Nice job Jabra!

I am a person who loves running marathons. These earbuds take the cake as far as training is concerned. The connection is flawless, the sound quality is a step up from the Elite 7 Active's. I like to listen to Metal and Hard Rock and it's crystal clear on these headphones. They are very comfortable to wear and don't hurt my ears, even on a long run. These are my highest recommended earbuds for endurance athletes. They won't break on you, the battery lasted a whole 6 hour run for so the battery won't let most people down, and the sound quality is more than adequate when you are training.

The Jabra Elite 8 Active is where sound quality meets rugged practicality. Not only are these some of the best sounding earbuds on the market, but Jabra has made a point to make these self proclaimed “world’s toughest earbuds” stand up to the abusive conditions like drops, salt water, extreme dust, and they can supposedly even withstand being under 5 feet of water! I didn’t try testing that rating out, but it’s nice knowing that I can take them to the beach and not worry about sand or saltwater ruining them. Speaking of saltwater protection, this also means that they’re made to withstand getting soaked in sweat, so they can hold up to your heavy workout sessions. They also feature Jabra’s ShakeGrip rubberized coating that somehow reliably keeps the earbuds in place. I used to think it was all about having tight fitting earbud cushions, but these comfortably stay put without hurting my ear canal. And without any kind of “wings” the earbud bodies are able to maintain a low profile so they don’t look ridiculous in your ears. I often wear 1 earbud while I’m at work and most people don’t even know I have it in unless they’re paying attention. In terms of stability and fit, I haven’t tried playing sports with them on, but they stay in place whether I’m running around at work, going on a walk, jogging, or doing construction. It’s worth going through the 5 different ear cushion sizes (included) to find what’s the best fit for your ears. Because they’re earbuds, the cushions need to form a good ear seal if you want good bass response. And these babies produce.. The bass is strong, the vocals are natural, and the highs are smooth. Jabra has been making great sounding headsets for a while and these do not disappoint. They handle all genres of music well and the mics have a clear voice pick up which also makes them great for Zoom and Teams meetings. I was excited to see that the Elite 8 Active features Dolby spatial audio, but that was honestly the biggest (and only) disappointment I had in them. Turning on spatial audio adds reverb for a sense of “space”, but it just sounds like echoes to me. Maybe it works better watching a movie or videos, but I did not like it at all for music. Hopefully they make this better in a future software update, but for now it can at least be easily turned off. Speaking of tuning things out, the Elite 8 Active features a new “smarter” ANC system that is supposedly 1.6x quieter than their previous models. I can neither confirm nor deny such claims, however I did notice that there’s some kind of automatic wind noise filtering. Jabra’s “hear through” is top notch and really shines vs other brands. It picks up a lot of the surrounding sounds you want to hear and I sometimes forget I even have the earbuds on if I’m not playing anything. To tune everything, you’ll need to download the free Jabra app, but thankfully it has useful features and is easy to use. Through the app you can adjust your ANC and pass through sound levels, customize the controls, tune a 5 band EQ, and even look up their last known GPS location in case they go missing. If you’re in the market for earbuds that are practical, reliable, last long, sound great, and can withstand abuse, I highly recommend the Jabra Elite 8 Active. I have been using Jabra ear buds for a long time. I wear them while running and working out at the gym. The Active 8 ear buds sound great, fit great and look great. These ear buds have a secure fit. They don’t pop out. I use the hear through feature while running so I can have a conversation with friends or hear what is going on around me while running solo but still want to enjoy the music. The noise cancellation feature is amazing. The whole world around me goes quiet. I highly recommend this product.

I bought these to use while im at work at night and so far they haven't disappointed me. The battery life is good on them,they atay in my ears good and the noise canceling is very good on them too. If i could change one thing it would be to make the charging case flat on the bottom so it can atand up on its own. Overall i am well pleased with my purchase and would recommend these earbuds to anyone looking for a good set of earbuds to use while at work or for working out also. Thes jabra app is very nice too and tells you everything you need to know about the earbuds and charging case too.

Best earbuds I have ever had. Fits in my ears perfectly and comfortable. Used to have a previous gen jabra and those were great as well but these are better. Great sound quality and eq customizations. Noise cancelation and hear through settings are the best thing about these buds. Long battery life as well.

Love these. The battery life is awesome, so far the durability is as good as I expected (one fell out during a run, bounced off into the brush, and I was able to find it with the jabra app. The noise cancellation is good, and I like having physical buttons so that I don't accidentally press something every time put my finger on the ear bud.

I replaced a set of JBL wireless earbuds and there’s no comparison, the Jabra Elite 8s sound better, connect easily and reliably, with a great fit. The noise cancellation works well and the controls are simple and useful. Battery life is excellent.

Picked these up in sale after one of my Elite 85t’s stopped working. Loving them so farThe spatial sound makes a big difference. Like other reviews i noticed these werent as loud as my 85t’s. My work around was for music and podcasts i turned off Spatial Sound, it gave it a boost. And of course setting your EQ on the app to your liking. I dont watch movies/shows on my phone or ipad very often but the couple times i have since i bought these I would turn the Spatial sound back in for that. Other than that they fit as good as all the Jabras ive had before. ANC is still good in my opinion and being able to now use either bud independently is pretty cool. Phone calls have been clear and crisp while no complaints on the other end being able to hear me fine. Wireless charging is still helpful and convenient as usual. Other than the SS part of the review if you can deal with it, they’re definitely worth grabbing a pair.

These are awesome! I bought them for my husband after he destroyed 3 pairs of apple airpods and 1 pair of bose with his running sweat. These are standing up! The sound quality is excellent, noise cancelling second to none and very comfortable he reports (and he's a tough customer). I would super recommend for runners and other active folks who sweat a lot and want a tough pair! Yes, no air charging which is an inconvenience but a small one.

I’ve used many pairs of earbud's in the past specifically for use during intense exercise. All of which have failed on me in the first to second year of use. These, by far, have been the best. If you’re looking for some durable, good sounding earbuds to wear during those sweaty sessions, get you a pair of these Jabras and you won’t be dissalpinted. They fit snug, handle sweat well, and work seamlessly with an Iphone.

One issue I tend to have with earbuds is that with a little sweat I am fighting to keep them in my ears. With these, they have done an amazing job of staying where I expect them to be and pumping out the music the whole time. Pop on the active noise cancellation and yard work seems to go so much faster. With the ANC, motor sounds just become a light hum, although it does get a little crackly with less unpredictable sound, like the weed eater smacking things. Then, if you want to hear something, you just tap the left ear and you can get HearThrough mode. However, by default, this is not an option, you have to change it in the Sound+ app. Several of the functions can only be changed with the Sound+ app, like the default pause when one ear bud is removed due to the proximity sensor it has in each of them. You can also change the EQ or use music presets. The app also has some soundscapes like pink noise, white noise, fan or some natural sounds like rain or a cavern. They are on a perfect loop too as I never noticed it cut out like I have seen with some apps. You can do a fair bit of customization with them too, like change the prompts from voice to tone, or pick the language. You can set up voice assistance with Google or your device default. You can also set it to go straight to Spotify with a double tap of the left ear. Battery life on these depends on usage. They last about 8 hours if you have the AND/HearThrough mode running, or 14 without. You can use 1 earbud at a time and keep the charge running for a couple days without ever having to plug it back up, without ANC on. On initial pairing of the headset, the directions made it look like you just pull them out and they were ready to pair. However, holding the button on both ear buds for 3 seconds puts it into pairing mode. As for water/dust proof, they are rated IP68 and even washing them in direct water, they seem to be holding up just fine. Overall, these seem like a solid pair of earbuds for any situation. From watching videos with spatial sound to just drowning out any sounds in the background. Out of the box they are decent, but so much better once you have the app installed to make the changes you want.

They are amazing, stick in my ear perfect. Sound is wonderful. Only problem is the problem i have with all small tech like this is i lost the dang charging case!!! But i am generally forgetful so if you dont have this issue, theyre a great buy. They are, in my humble opinion, as good as the top of the line earbuds.

If you're seeking exceptionally durable earbuds, the Jabra Elite 8 Active exceed expectations. They remain securely in place once properly fitted. The audio quality is impressive, and the noise cancellation performs admirably. Athletes seeking a blend of performance and office suitability will find them particularly appealing.

I have had the for just over a year now and am very rough on earbuds. A lot of use over the year.the bad About 6 months in right earbud microphone really doesn't pick up your voice and the case won't always close all the way so it keeps trying to pair. For the good works for all day use music mixed with calls. Pairs to multiple devices and responds quickly. Actual feedback on press with a light button feel. A lot better than a touch only function. That is the winning feature for me.

I upgraded to these from the elite Jabra 7 pro. So far I love these! They are more comfortable and both buds seem to stay connected better. Sound quality and ANC are great too. I use them for conference calls on my work computer, gaming and Discord chat on my personal computer, general calls and music on my galaxy 21 plus and at the gym.
