They wouldn’t stay in and I tried the various ear tips. The sound was okay but not great. There was no pass through so if you exercise outside you wouldn’t hear approaching traffic or any of your other surroundings which could be dangerous. I returned them within a week since I couldn’t use them for what I intended.

We believe that the Jabra Elite Active 65t maintains a nice balance between the highs, mids, and lows of the audio you are listening to. In order to get the best possible audio quality with your Elite Active 65t, we recommend making sure your earbuds are placed correctly in your ears. Ensuring you have the best fit with the eargels on your Jabra Elite Active 65t earbuds is also vital for making the most out of the passive noise cancellation function of your earbuds. A snug fit will create a seal around the outside of your ear canal, which will in turn prevent ambient noise from getting in to your audio stream. Furthermore, the Jabra Elite Active 65t has a feature called HearThrough, which uses the microphones on the earbuds to allow some of the ambient noise in your surroundings to be heard while you are wearing your device. When using HearThrough, you can feel confident and safe when using your earbuds when outside. This feature can be activated either through our corresponding Jabra Sound+ app or by double-pressing the button on your right earbud. I gave it a chance. But it just wasn't for me AND there were far too many reasons NOT to keep them for my daily use. 1. It kept falling out of my ears. 2. It made my ear hurt after wearing them for a few minutes. 3. My hearing changed significantly after wearing them for those few weeks. I think they actually ruined my hearing. But the sound these Jabras had was pretty decent. 4. They were just too annoying to put in my ears. When you wear earphones you want that security and freedom to be able to listen to your music without the fear of dropping it somewhere and losing track of them altogether.

They were great for a while but the right earbud has volume problems. I have updated the software and reset the buds but the problem is still there. I used them with an iPhone 7 and have searched through the app but there isn't a balance setting available.

This is certainly not what you should expect from the Right Earbud. We kindly ask to please retry the reset for the Elite Active 65t. Start by removing the Elite Active 65t from the list of paired devices in your phone's Bluetooth menu. Next, press and hold the multi-function button for 10-15 seconds until you see the purple flashing light (you will see it flash red first, but keep the button pressed). After this, the headset will go into pairing mode, ready to pair with your phone again. Once you have reconnected to your smartphone, we kindly ask reloading the firmware. In Jabra Sound+ app, go to Headset > Voice Guidance Language, select the current language of the earbuds, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the download and installation. After this process is complete, please test the Active 65t, to see if this resolves the challenges you are having with the Right Earbud.
