Found these as a black Friday special; I couldn't resist. I watch all my media on my iPad, phone, computer, etc. Now I can walk away, even take a shower while listening to the morning news and not wake everyone up (tmi). So far the range has been great (I left the tablet in backyard and walked through the house; it started cutting out more than 50ft and a few walls between connections). So the downsides... ...i can connect to multiple devices, but it seams to only connect to one at a time; I have to disconnect from one to connect to another (manageable) ..The sound quality seams to depend on the device and even the app. Commercials on my tablet sound flat, but music from my phone sound much better. Oh, I almost forgot. The health app is an added bonus I wasn't expecting and may actually get me off my duff and on my treadmill more frequently... so far so good. 3 YEAR WARRANTY, but I still got the best buy warranty, and I found online that I can replace individual earpieces or the case if somehow I lose one. So improvements would be better base or eq on all devices and better connection to multiple devices.

These stay in my ear during my workouts which is what I was looking for. They connect easily and last plenty long. Good sound but the volume is not as loud as I would like. Others say the volume is good for them though.

Truly Wireless Headsets Score Big Points?

I have been waiting (not so patiently) for truly wireless headsets and now I finally have some. I've tried 2 brands Apple AirPods & the new Jabra Elite Sports. I'll be reviewing the Jabra Elite Sports. PRO: The Sound - I listen to all kinds of music. Rock, JAzz, Blues, Acoustic, and they all sound GREAT! With the JAbra App you can tune the EQ to create just the right custom listening levels for your preference. PRO: GREAT Fit! - the Jabra Elites come with all the tips & earloops you need to get a truly custom tight fit. It took some trial & error but once I found the right ones these earbuds DO NOT MOVE! They provide great isolation (sometimes too much) but to over come that you can enable pass-through feature that allows external sound to be passed through the headset to your ears for better contact with your surroundings. PRO: Mic used for talking on calls seems to do a great job. The only problem I've had is on a windy day when the wind whips over the microphone opening. Even standing in a very loud server room the noise cancelation did a great job of isolating my voice from the room noise and no one complained about not being able to hear me. PRO: Battery life in my experience has been spot-on 4.5 hours per charge. PRO: The heart beat feature works well, haven't exercised enough to get much experience but seems to be as close as any other heart rate detection device of the same / similar type. CON: These are obviously for exercising and not for wearing all day, but I wear mine all day and my ear does tend to get a little fatigued. But they connect so fast that I can take it out of my ear & turn it off and when I get a call turn it on and answer quick enough. CON: You can't use both earbuds independently. So, either you use JUST the RIGHT earbud or BOTH earbuds. You can't independently use the left without the right! That is disappointing. Since the earbuds do such a great job isolating sound from your ears I have found myself wanting to use just one and when it dies it would be nice to but it in the charger and pull the left unit out and continue listening or talking. PRO/CON: Bluetooth connectivity - I can't completely blame this on the headsets (yet) but for some reason the bluetooth connection disconnects & reconnects. Especially if I am listening to music, Apple Music (iPhone 6s), Pandora or Amazon Music and open another app. It will stop and restart the connection and that gets really annoying to hear the nice voice in your say DISCONNECTED / CONNECTED over and over and over...! Sometimes a simple reboot of the headsets will suffice other times its rebooting the phone and still other times it requires both and putting the earbuds back in the charger / closing and reopening. I know...I can't seem to find the culprit because sometimes when it happens my iPhone BT display disappears & reappears. So I can't determine if it's a phone problem or a headset problem - so just be aware! I'm thrilled to have my Jabra Elite Sport headsets and I'll keep running, working out and loving my music all the while not having to worry about a single wire!!!

Got these mainly for use as a Bluetooth but I do use them while at the gym. The sound is clear but bass is a bit lacking. Also, it doesn’t get as loud as I’d like them to, but they do not fall out easily while running (like the Apple earbuds). However, they do last about 4 hours, at least, that’s the longest I’ve had them in continuously. I don’t have an accurate estimate on battery life cause once I take them off and put them in the case, the case will immediately begin to recharge them. Call are clear and the other party can hear me just fine. Works great with my MacBook Pro.

I have used numerous sweat proof Bluetooth headphones over the past several years and these Jabra Elite Sport buds are the most comfortable ones because they occupy the smallest amount of body space. They are surprisingly very secure in the ear. The connection between each bud as well as the connection to my iPhone 7plus is rock solid flawless. During workouts, I normally keep my phone in a fanny pack around my rear waist and there has never been any connection issues whatsoever for the 3 weeks that I have been using these things. Sound is great and I can't think of anything to complain about. I will say I have not used the Jabra app workout functionality that comes with these buds because I prefer my Apple Watch workout app.

So far so good. Only lost connection twice during about 6 hrs of workouts (only had for em a week so far). The fit is fine, the wing tips are a little stiffer than what I'm use too on other brands (Jaybirds). Being stiffer, there was some irritation going on, but I just sucked it up. For my ears, they do feel very secure though. The sound is good at the sound level that I use em for. The functions on the buds are all there for what I need. They have buttons which I like so pressing them is better than swiping, etc. The noise cancellation actually works and is a nice addition. Using the equalizer in the app increases the adjustability of the sound too and works just fine. The main thing is the connection for me, after two failed attempts using the Jaybird RUN, these Jabra's perform way better than the RUNs did.

I went from an off brand pair of truly wireless in ear headphones to these and I'd have to say sound quality wise they're comparable but with the extra features of the jabra it's worth the upgrade. Pros: good sound quality, hear through option, the app, the charger/carrying case, they're very comfortable and do not protrude too much. Cons: The price, the Mic, and if you only want to use one ear peice at a time it can ONLY be the right one.

These earbuds are great. Sound quality is excellent and they come with multiple inserts that help them fit in your ear just right. The through sound feature is great to be able to hear your aurroundings and music at the same time. Can be a little difficult to hear a phone call when running outside with moderate+ wind. Heart rate feature works great. They are waterproof so no need to worry about rain or sweat, but they do not recommend them for swimming which for me is the only downfall of an otherwise great product.

Great wireless connection, but The volume is not as loud as I expected. Granted it blocks outside noise, but for the price I’d expect these to be booming in my ears. I love them because they don’t fall out of connection at all, but I’ll admit I’m a little dissatisfied with the volume’s peak performance. Glad I got them on sale for $150 but I’m still not too happy. I wish I could’ve tried them out before I purchased because they’re also not the best fit I’m constantly adjusting them. But overall it’s still not enough flaws for me to return. I’m use to very loud earphones I guess. But these r great. Only 4stars because they should be louder without question. I love that they never fall out of connection and that’s the main reason I bought them

These are the best truly wireless headphones on the market, in my opinion/experience. I say that based on 3 things: 1. battery life (DOUBLE the nearest competitor at 3 hours +6 in charging case) 2. fitness app 3. sound and microphone. As a person who owns a pair of Sennheiser over-ears and Bose QC30's, I can't say these are the best sounding earbuds ever--but they sound decent for average user and the bass has a good punch (caveat: to get full utility of sound quality you MUST find a perfect fit using the wings and tips). I sometimes use these for work calls and the microphone almost performs better than my ACTUAL work headset (this is jabra's strong suit so not surprising). I also use these--and the main reason i purchased them--for working out, and they are absolutely amazing. The native fitness app is the best I've ever used. I love the heart rate monitor and the coaching functionality. I'm a distance runner and these things keep me pumped up when I hear the female voice say "this workout is improving your fitness". As far as fit, the unit comes with an assortment of wings and eartips. After finding my sizes, these don't fall out no matter what I do. I can run, jump, even ram heads with a bull and these will not move. Worth the buy, but I am certainly awaiting an updated version that has onboard music storage and GPS.

I reviewed a top 10 list of ear buds and these were on them but they were above my budget until I found them $100 of on Cyber Monday. There was no problem setting them up to bluetooth on my iPhone. Picking out the right ear pieces took some time but there are a ton of different options with them. There should be an option for everyone. The quality is very good in my opinion. I use them for exercising in the gym and running. I do get some noise from the wind when running but it wasn't too bad. The charging case they come in is great. Very sturdy and protective. All around they are a great product.

Wanted to love, but painful, fall out, so-so sound

Bought them for phone headset, working in the yard, playing with the dog, and other lower impact activities. I wanted to love them as much as so many others do, but they just don't measure up at this price point. The good: great call quality - both for me and the other person, able to use one at a time, great battery life for truly wireless, love the additional charges with the case, very small portable case, lots of fit options to try, well made, no wire or clip to get caught in my hair and pull earbud out every time I turn my head, didn't hurt quite as bad after a week or two The bad: OWWW, even more painful if you need to press a button, don't fit smaller ears no matter how many things are included, fall out - especially after pushing a button knocks one loose, even the small ear tips and wings are a little too big, the app is almost useless outside of exercise, only so-so sound quality because of the poor fit If I could get these to fit my ears better or they were a better price, I'm sure I'd love them. When I hold them further in, the sound quality is incredible but they won't stay that way. I even bought Comply premium tips, but they only helped a little. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the call quality is, both for me and the person on the other end too. I spend a lot of time on the phone with customers, so that was critical for me. Everyone I've asked has said they sound as good as all of the other headsets I have and much better than some of my others. The fit is somewhat unpredictable. Sometimes they stay in great, other times I'm having to constantly push them back in. I've tried to figure out why, but I still don't know. If they came down in price or fit well, I know I'd keep them. I don't think that's likely, so they'll probably be returned until a company designs some for women's smaller ear canals.

The first day I used these I was going to take them back. The sound was very tinny with no bass. I thought they may be good if all you did was listen to audio books because the voice was very clear. That evening I looked online and saw several references to trying all the ear piece sizes. Boom! Solid bass. Making a good seal was the answer and made all the difference. I have used them now walking, jogging and bike riding. They are very comfortable and light. They have not irritated me by moving around and getting loose like others I've tried. When I exercise by myself I listen to music, and the volume is easily loud enough for me. When I'm with others I still wear them for the heart rate monitor, but set it to pass through sound without music. In that mode I can hear everyone around me as good as without them in at all. I dropped one star because I do consider them very good for exercise, but the sound clarity is still not excellent. Make sure you put them in the charging case properly. Look for the lights to turn on showing a connection. Once I did not have them in properly and the right side earbud was dead. It is very possible to shut the case and they not be connected. One of the best features is the app that comes with it. It instantly replaced my other exercise apps and I have not looked back. It does everything I need and much more. I love the training level tracking based on heart rate. It is much more informative than just time and distance.

These are by far the best workout headphones that I have tried. I have multiple sets of Bluetooth ones and these trump all of them. The sound is amazing (you have to be sure to find the right combination of ear pieces), pairing couldn't be simpler, very light weight, and the battery life is really good. The call quality is great and with the awareness feature enabled, you don't have to worry about getting run over when running or biking. Not once have the ear pieces felt like they would fall out. I also really like the heart rate feature. It is spot on. (I even checked it against one at the doctors office.). Over all I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The only negative thing I found is that when I have them set to awareness, when I speak, they crackle a bit. I do however run into this with most mics as I have a really deep voice.

I love my Jaybirds. I bought them so I could workout without wires getting in my way at the gym. I had a problem with them cutting out if I got too far away from my phone when I had them paired with with phone, but that was solved by pairing them to my iwatch instead. They still cut out for a second every now and then, but not so much that it is an issue. The jaybird run are very comfortable, and fit well in my ear. You do have to take the time to select the right ear gel and wing to fit your particular ears, but once you do, they are very secure. What I love most is they are so easy to use....one button on each ear bud does everything. And to turn them off, just put them back in their charging case. To turn them on, just take them out of the case. They charge reliably and I have not had an issue with them. The case will recharge the ear buds itself a couple of times before you have to charge the case....super convenient if you are away from home. And they have a fast charge option...5 minutes of charge will get you an hour of play time....great for those of us that sometimes forget to charge our wireless devices! The sound is really good on them...again, once you have the proper fit for your ears. All in all, I am super happy with my jaybirds. I think they are the best wireless earbuds out there, especially for people who work out.

    True Wireless Perfection

I write this review to give a true and honest opinion. These true wireless buds simply put are the best all around buds I have ever used. I am not going to bad mouth any other manufactures to make these seem incredible... I will just state the facts. I do own Bose QC 35 which I love for travel and to silence my coworkers and I also have Jaybird Freedoms as well as Jaybird X3. The Jaybird are awesome for the gym and I have no complaints I just wish they were truly wireless so when I was able to snag these for 179.00 I jumped on them and I have been VERY happy with my purchase. I take phone calls on them and can hear and be heard crystal clear. I have adjusted the eq in the Jabra app and they perform very nicely just like the Jaybird and I easily get the 4 1/2 hours of battery life. They are great in th gym come with a 3 year sweat warranty and I have never had a single hiccup with connection and they don’t suffer like many Bluetooth headsets with latency when watching videos on YouTube or Netflix. So if those things are your concern don’t worry no issue there for anything you would use this for. All you need to do is make sure you try the different combination to get a tight secure fit which is key to great sound and you won’t regret!!!

Or should I say Hey earbuds..! And the party is in some running shoes. The Jabra Elite Sports (upgraded) have improved battery life and a cool fitness app. I tried all the sizes of wings and tips and found the smallest of each stayed put the best. The foam tips sound the best. I've run in the rain, did a ten mile trail race, and numerous training runs and they didn't budge. The heart rate monitor worked pretty well too. I compared it to my Apple Watch and the readings are similar. I've worn the Elite Sports while relaxing with some Spotify running, aaaand... after a few minutes the foam tips, even if they sound the best, cause a bit of discomfort in my ear canal. Kinda hate that they don't have all-day comfort. But they don't bother me at all while running. The other problem I noticed is while watching YouTube videos, there is a annoying delay in the audio. There are a couple of transmissions happening - one to the buds from the device and another from one bud to the other for synchronization. This means some delay will happen. These buds sound really great, are comfortable on runs, have great battery life, have a three year sweat/water guarantee, stay put in my ears and are completely wireless. As the dude from Fast Times at Ridgemont High said... "Awesome!" Minus one star for ear fatigue and high price.

I bought these buds about 3 weeks ago and I'm happy with my purchase. Figuring out which ear insert to use was critical in order to get the sound I wanted. After getting over the first pairing process now these buds quickly connect to my phone. The first week was tough because they hurt of a bit and having to press on buds (instead of swiping) to change volume didn't help in the comfort dept. However after a week of wearing them a few hours a day, my ears got used to them. They sound is really good and I love that when you take the right one out the music stops in both and starts again when you reinsert it. The app is cool but I haven't used all the features yet. The heart rate monitor is pretty close to the treadmill reading so it must be right since it's in my ear. Love the charging case and the app tells you how much power is left in the buds. Just be careful to always keep the them with the case... I almost lost them once. Great sound, good app - great product!
