Thiese battery packs for the Explorer 5000 are a good way to boost your stored energy for capacity. Our system is primarily for outages in our area( 3 outages in a 12 month period), but these are great for folks with solar, that want stay completely off grid, even after the sun goes down. The battery pack syncs effortlessly withe main Explorer 5000, and even shows up in the app, via Bluetooth or WiFi. The entire system is well refined, and eliminates the need for a loud gas generator, that is disruptive in a small neighborhood. On a side note, I wish Best Buy allowed for store pickup, so I wouldn't need to be home during delivery window...
