Very nice sound, sufficient charge life, overall pleased. The one tendency is for the JAM-Hang Tight is to reconnect to the last device it connected to when attempting to change the link device. It takes some effort to prevent it from doing so. Once you realize this is Hang Tight life, easy enough to manage. I would recommend the device.

I spend a lot of time on the road so I needed a small speaker that sounds good. This fits in my backpack and sounds excellent. If that’s what you’re in the market for than I highly recommend this speaker.

It is good and eat to use. If you like big bass choose other.

The JAM Bluetooth speaker is a pretty impressive and LOUD speaker, with decent range for Bluetooth, good separation of lows and highs, and bass for days. It has some astonishing battery life, and packs in its own USB charge cable so you're never left without. And if you want a direct-connect, it still features a 3.5mm jack. I do wish the cable was USB-C but that's a personal desire, and the audio can distort at max volume. If you need to fill a room with sound though, this will do it. Inside a car, it's plenty loud at medium volume.

I wanted to say that the only reason I bought these was because they were on sale and I was curious. Jam used to be that not-so-mainstream brand that you would see next to the Skullcandy and Sony stuff and wonder how good can they be? I owned a few of the older models before they went through their whole rebranding/facelift going from a dull grey coloration to their new black and blue as well as cream and mint colored stuff that looks flashier. Now this one is a bit different because you don't see too many speakers where the main draw of it is that you can hang it from a wall or ceiling, but you would need a carabiner which is not included in the box. Another noteworthy feature is how the charging cable is stowed away. There are grooved channels that are etched into the side of the speaker and a tab on the top and bottom of the body where the cable connections slot into the speaker. I find this interesting and something that makes me think "Why don't more companies do this?". Now the charging port and aux input are hidden behind a plug that is attached to the body as well and the front speaker grill is covered by a decent fabric material. The controls on the side are easy to identify and press and there are no complaints here. Now for the sound quality. One thing to keep in mind is that this speaker is a mono driver so therefore any stereo or dual channel audio you run through this will sound a bit odd. I noticed this with one specific song on YouTube "Kaizo Trap" where one specific electronic tone does no come across on the hang tight but it did come through on the JAM Hang Around (Their portable dual driver speaker) so there will be a few songs that sound a bit wonky when played on this. The sound itself is a little strange though. Even though the bass is good, I am lead to believe that this thing doesn't have a radiator, not even a passive one. Or at the very least one that I cannot seem to visibly see on the speaker itself. I say this because I also own the Hang Around speaker and this one has a very noticeable passive radiator on the back so I know for a fact that they could have fit one on the Hang Around. So this does mean you are working with a single speaker setup that could handle bass a bit better if it had a few more tweaks to it. Pros: -Flashy look -Great battery life -Convenient charge cable placement -Good bass -Flexible positioning with 'hangability' Cons: -Mono, stereo songs will sound iffy -Bass could be better than it is -Other speakers provide more features at same price If you aren't too concerned about the subtle nuances of tracks and just need something that is louder than the speaker on your phone, you will be good with this. I would just say that if you want something that is better at bass reproduction, then look at something with a higher price tag and you will be golden.

This product works perfect and very compact. Has great sound, bass, and good battery life. I highly recommend this product!

Simple to use. Good sound and loudness. This is a great value for the money compared to the other Bluetooth speakers. The Hang Tight feature makes it easy to use where ever you want.

My little Harman Karen Bluetooth speaker finally gave up the ghost and I needed a replacement quick! I found this little gem in the local Best Buy and it was even on sale! Simple to connect to with several different Android phones, crisp clear sound at many volumes, this is a great find. It's even water resistant if I can believe the manuals, but I haven't tried it. The only down side for me is that the size is bigger than I would have liked but our urgent need for a speaker made that a smaller deal... I would recommend this speaker if you are looking for a week priced audio solution for Bluetooth.

Crisp clean sound in a small form factor. Battery life is good. A little extra bass would’ve made it 5 stars.

Caught on sale and purchased two, one as a gift. Charges quickly, sound decent for speaker of its size and wattage. Genius way of keeping charging cord on speaker until it's needed, more companies should do this. Took to beach and is indeed waterproof and sandproof. Hooked to umbrella and was just loud enough to hear over waves and others around which is all we wanted. Good buy!

This is small and sleek enough to be carried around, I keep it charged in my car most of the time, so it is good to go whenever needed. Best of all the price that BestBuy had at the time was just perfect and was a great Secret Santa Item. Very satisfied!!!

Very happy for design, quality & portability of product

This Bluetooth speaker is great and easy to connect. Sound is awesome and its super cool how the cord is stored on the device.

We bought this speaker for kayaking as it is water-proof. It has worked great for us so far. It doesn't have the best bluetooth range, so if you are looking for one with good range I wouldn't recommend it. But if you are looking for something quality, for a reasonable price, I would check it out!

Well this was on clearence originally 39.99 and -24 dollars off was 15.99. Now it has 12 hour playtime which is a long time to use without having to recharge. A 100ft range and is waterproof which is a plus. Also an integrated charging cable which you always have a charging cable with the device.

Love it. The sound is more than I expected. Clear, good bass, Price was perfect, on clearance. I got it with my reward points, pretty much got it for free. It is worth every penny. Great, excellent quality sound. I've had it almost a year now, it still sounds great.

This speaker was very easy to connect to my phone and I was listening to music in no time at all. It is good quality and not cheaply made. I wish that it had more bass, but it does have pretty good sound quality having said that.

This little speaker was louder than I expected. Its loud enough to have it a living room when guest are over or if you're just wanting to do some cleaning around the house. Sound quality is clear and has nice mid and lows.

This was a gift for someone whose budget was about $30. It's super usable and be placed anywhere because of it's design. We were really going for volume and ease of use, and this speaker provides that. For the price, pretty solid!
