Absolute classic must have movie for any collection, looks great in blu ray

This is a classic and everyone who watches film see it on the big screen.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I just had to upgrade it to DVD!

This is the only way to enjoy this movie. I knew Jaws was the first blockbuster movie because of the sequels released when I was growing up, but I was too young to remember the original movie. The sound, picture and overall experience takes you back to movies except in the 70s the seats and legroom was a comfort issue. I recommend this title to anyone who has never seen the movie and enjoys a good blockbuster film (yes, I know that the is from the 70s). Of course, long time fans will love the 4k picture and sound.

The movie that started a great franchise. Good transfer to Blu Ray.

Great picture and sound on the 4K The special features are very good. I love that they included the documentary that was on the laserdisc collection. It was both interesting and then a fascinating contrast to see the more recent interviews. The 2005,doc is historically interesting even strictly from the perspective of seeing which directors the invited to speak about Jaws’ influence (I had to loom a couple up ha! Relevant at that moment but maybe not long term) But of course as noted at the beginning, the film looks great. Definitely holds up & I’m happy to have it in my library!

One of my favorite all time movies finally on Blu Ray. A must have.

Wow! One of my all time favorite films, now in stunning 4K & Blu-ray. This is the version to get since it has the coolest steelbook art that this film deserves. It is simple & subtle but to open it and see "get out of the water" is cool. The best films deserve to be presented in stunning packaging that honors the quality of artistry. Not only is the video & sound perfect, but it includes my all time favorite documentary which just happens to be longer than the film itself. Believe it or not, I have probably watched it more times that Jaws. It would be unbelievable if Robert Shaw was alive to have him in it too. Not to worry, the stories of him are truly cinematic gems. Must have movie buffs, must have!

This film remains a classic horror movie that transcends the genre and the time in which it was released, and rightfully so. As one of Steven Spielberg's early films, his adept building up of the tension -- heightened that much more by the almost universally known two-note "shark attack" music provided by John Williams -- shines in both the shark attack scenes and in the spaces in which the story is given time to build and the characters have room to develop. Even with a shark that doesn't look terribly realistic by today's standards, JAWS still delivers the suspense and the terror, and is a textbook study on how to escalate tension for maximum payoff.

As a steelbook, this is solid. Don't fix what isn't broken; in this case, the classic Jaws shark poster, shifted slightly. Plus, inside is close to a perfect picture that encapsulates the first half of the movie. Speaking of perfect picture, this 4K disc of Jaws is just about that, especially in Dolby Vision. I can't even imagine seeing a clean print in the theater could be that much better, if at all. Long story short, even if you can't get your hands on this steelbook edition, make sure you pick up the standard 4K release. You can't go wrong with one of the greatest 4K transfers of what happens to be one of the greatest movies of all time.

Love this movie. Never gets old. Can watch any time.

How do you not have Jaws on Blu Ray? Go get it now.

Just about every film buff is familiar with JAWS, so I will limit my review to the quality of the 4K restoration and it's a stunner! Jaws has probably never looked or sounded this good. While the first part of the film is extremely dated (and it should be it's 45 years old) the moment the Orca sets sail it becomes an epic battle between man and shark which could have been filmed last week. Grain has been left intact. I opted for the 45th Anniversary Limited Edition with the "Collectible Book." Steelbook collectors may have purchased Best Buy's other option. Either way, if you have 4K collection, JAWS is a must own addition. Highly recommended.

This classic film should be in everyone's 4K library. The transfer of the film is perfect. This is quite arguably one of the best looking 4K movies that anyone could own. The movie itself is amazing. It doesn't age and still holds up. After all these years and numerous times of watching it, Jaws can still strike a cord. What more can anyone fan of movies ask for? The score on the 4K has never been better. It adds a different feel to an already wonderful experience. If you don't own this movie already, then what are you waiting for? Even the Blu-ray edition in this set is an upgrade from previous releases.

What a classic this movie is. One of the all time greats. I never tire of watching it. One of the first blockbusters too. Seeing this as a kid back in 1975 and than seeing it again on 4K blu-ray brings back back a lot of nostalgia. I thought the 1080 version was incredible, yet this 4K transfer improves on it even further. I mean it really ups the ante again. The sound is impressive too. It has a nice 5.1 track, but includes the original mono track. I prefer the mono track because it has more of the original bass in it. There you go. Folks! you have to pick this up. It needs to be in your movie library.

I'very seen this film multiple times throughout the years and I've owned it on just about every format. It doesn't just go without saying the 4K restoration is the best. Not all re-release films in 4k are given care,other words not all movies are worth the upgrade. There was a lot of care put into the release of JAWS in 4K. Give this film an upgrade and watch it in a new light. I never realized how artistic Spielberg's direction was with regards to the scenery. Amity just looks spectacular.

One of the best films ever made, even though it was released in 1975 - it's a timeless masterpiece, like Godfather 1 & 2. Although it put a lot of irrational fear in people in regard to Sharks, I believe most of the facts in the film are still proven correct about sharks. Quint's piece about the USS Indianapolis is close enough for Hollywood for historical accuracy, and encouraged me to research further - tragic event of the Pacific Theater. FYI - the consensus of science in the early 20th century told the public sharks were no threat to humans in the water - groupthink at its finest.

4k works wonders with this classic! Love the grain, where only a few minor places (in dark scenes) can the grain be noticed as odd. These are places you really have to be looking for to see. Other than that, it's very filmic. Wonderful crisp, clean, great print. Sound is great for such an old movie, and Atmos is a nice addition, and if you have a system with discrete overhead channels, it opens things up quite a bit. The movie deserves such a quality 4k treatment. Well done! The steel is nicely minimal and a finish that is not glossy, so it doesn't show fingerprints as quickly. Very good package.
