I like everything about it except the mandatory charging dock that can easily be lost. I had many situations where I thought I had lost it. Website still does not sell the charging cable separately. Do not lose that cradle if you don’t want a paper weight.

Fantastic sound quality when you get a snug fit, better than average even with a standard fit. Handles activity at the gym quite well. Yoga, treadmill, hot tub... the water resistance is a plus!

    BUY THESE!

    Volume

I was hesitant to spend 160 on quality headphones, as I feared they wouldn't stay in my ear. I've owned Sony , Shure , Bose and even Westones! So I was also sceptical of sound quality. I read up on these and was STOKED about the 14 hour run time, not to mention the 5 minute charge for 2 hours of music! No other headphones have these features. NONE. They even magnetize together and the music will pause until you separate the headphones! This also helps avoid losing them. On top of all that the Jaybird app is great, you can pick from preset settings or customize the sound yourself. It can even locate your headphones should you loose them!! The sound quality is EXCELLENT, and noise canceling is superb. These things get LOUD and you can't hear anything except your music! I put them on and was seriously surprised. Not only did the music sound great but the headphones STAY IN my ears ! They're nice and snug. Ive beenrunning, exercising, working, with zero problems..I even put on some Disturbed and started head banging just to see if they'd at least come loose but had no luck! THIS IS WITHOUT THEM HOOKED AROUND MY EARS!! I'm so impressed that at age 42 this is my first time ever leaving a review online. If you are hesitating and have the money GO FOR IT!!

    Great improvements on these T-pros

I currently have the Jaybird X3's, and the T-pros definitely have many great improvements. Keeping it brief, I love the quick charge, braided cord, magnetic charge cradle, magnetic buds (helps from losing them), play/pause feature when buds are connected/disconnected, personal eq option in the jaybird app, and an improved fit. I highly recommend these if you have the X3's or anything older. Skip the regular Tara's and get the Tarah pros. Definitely worth the extra money.

    Solid Headphones

Use these to work out with and just switched out my Bose SoundSport for these. So far, no issues with these. Just don't get to drain teh battery down to 0% with these type of headphones as they are not designed for that purpose. When you get the message "low battery" TURN IT OFF until you can recharge it. Apparently, these types of headphones just stop charging or working after that fact. LOVE the GSP-R on these bad boys!

    Almost perfect

    Posted .
    Pros mentioned:
Battery life, For working out, Sound quality

Overall, these are near perfect workout headphone. They are quite impressive and most likely will fit the needs of 90% of people. My first impression upon unboxing is quality. The design is appealing and looks like a high-quality fitness product with a sport design and great materials. In the box there are extra earbuds, some basic documentation, the charger, a clip, a pouch and the headphones. I was a big fan of the braided cord. When running, it does not snag due to the low friction of the cloth, so I never felt the need to adjust the cable like I have with competitor headphones that use a more rubberized cable. Most important, sound quality. They are pretty good! They utilize Bluetooth 5.0. I have found the 5.0 standard to be mostly static free and keeps a great connection to any other 5.0 device. I tried it with my Xperia XZ2 compact and my laptop, no issues on either at normal Bluetooth ranges. One thing I would like is if they integrated APT-X into these, sound quality would be greatly improved. They use SBC which is not too bad with 5.0 but could be better. Overall, there is a nice dynamic range and covers 20hz-20khz. There is no noise cancelling but it does a decent job of blocking sound just though the design, you will still hear plenty of grunts and the gym though. This is probably preferred for running though for safety sake. Battery life is amazing! They are rated at 14 hours, I did not do any non-stop testing but with multiple sessions, it appears the battery barely drains each time. These will easily last for days on a single charge. The charger is more of a dock that you put it against to charge. I have no complaints with this but if you lose it, you cannot charge it via USB of any sort so keep it safe. I am sure this is to make it more waterproof since it eliminates any connections, but it is just one thing to consider. Quick charge is as advertised and a few minutes of charge will give you a few hours of battery, quite useful if you are in a hurry. Fit is pretty good, everyone will be slightly different, and I noticed it fit a little better in my left ear than my right ear but it was nothing that took away from audio enjoyment. It did require some minor adjusting over long periods in the gym though, this could be more of an issue with lots of cardio though if you can not find a perfect fit. Overall, great headphones, I would just love some tweaking with audio codecs and charging to make it perfect.

Great Fit, Great Sound, Great Battery

    Posted .
    Pros mentioned:
Battery life, Sound quality, Use with apps

These are the best the fitness headphones I’ve used. The fit is snug and comfortable, the sound is great, and the battery lasts for days. My one small complaint would be that I wish they were a little louder, but besides that I don’t really have anything bad to say about the Tarah Pro’s The headphones are relatively lightweight and use a nice fabric braided cable that’s easy on the skin. They come with 3 different sizes of silicone ear tips; I ended sticking with the size 2 ones that were originally on the headphones out of the box, but it’s worth trying all of them. Some of the other Jaybird headphones do include foam ear tips and unfortunately those are not here, but I have not complaints about the comfort of the silicone ones. The remote on the cable has 3 buttons that are easy to press and locate by feel, which is good because it sits behind your head where you can’t see it. The cable also has a cinch that takes up the extra cable to help secure the headphones to your head and it works well, though I would recommend moving your head around and loosening if needed. For an even more secure fit the ear tips rotate for an over-the-ear style, though with the right tips and cable adjustment this is probably only needed for the most intense activities. The sound quality on these is great, especially for fitness headphones. The connection is strong and I haven’t experienced any audio delays watching videos or playing games like I do with some other Bluetooth headphones. They also use the latest Bluetooth 5 standard, which is not true of other Jaybird headphones as of December 2018. I do wish the headphones went just a tad louder; I’m usually close or at the maximum volume most of the time, but the ear tips do a great job of isolating outside noise, so they don’t have to be as loud. The downside of good sound isolation though is you don’t have much awareness of the environment around you, so for people who run outside it’s something to keep in mind. The battery life for me has been great. At medium volume they’re supposed to last 14 hours and so far my experience supports that. It’s far and away better than anything else Jaybird offers and it beats out Beats (ha) and Bose’s offerings as well. It’s nice peace of mind especially because the headphones don’t have a standard charging port, so you can leave the magnetic charging cable at home. Other items: - The Jaybird app is great. It lets you adjust the EQ on the headphones and has a lot of fitness-oriented playlists that you can explore (though you need Spotify to listen to them). - Jaybird lists these as sweatproof and waterproof, but that’s not entirely accurate. They do not recommend them for swimming or showering, so I would call them water resistant rather than waterproof. - The USB charging cable attaches magnetically to the remote on the cable, so that’s potentially one more cable to carry around with you, but I think even the heaviest users should see these last them through day. - You get a nice little carrying pouch that you can pinch open with one hand.

    Awesome headphones!!!

I got this for a Christmas gift for my husband. He had went through several Beats headphones. Recently our 16 month old daughter was caught with the Beats ear pieces in her mouth. There was no way to fix them. After reading the reviews I knew these were the best headphones for him. They are waterproof, tell you how much battery you have left, and they hold a longer charge! My husband has no complaints and loves them!!!

For running, cycling and spinning, I've used almost all Jaybird "running" headphones since 2001. I usually wear them down or kill them with sweat. I even tried the Run XT but none of the earfins fit me, so they were falling off my ears. So I returned them and tried the Tarah Pro. So far they're the best earphones I've had.

I had a pair of jaybirds before i bought this set. The fit is a little odd (yes i used the smallest size they had) and didnt fit right. When in use i heard a lot of outside noise and wasnt not impressed. I really liked the magnetic in the ear pieces when not in use. Hopefully other companies pick this up. I returned these and purchased sony. Also the app will not work with iphone/ipod older than ISO 9, which mine unfortunately is.
