The earbuds fit perfectly in your ear and do not come out when you run or when you're doing other activities. The sound quality is very good and it connects very well with any Bluetooth device. I especially like the audibles for start up and shut down

I really love my new JayBirds! I take them with me EVERYWHERE! Not only are they practical but the sound quality is great and they don't fall out! I've used them while running and stay perfectly in place; they're pretty comfortable once you use the right fit for you. I've also used them in two devices at once and haven't had any problems at all. Very happy with my purchase! Highly recommended!

    Solid option for Bluetooth Headphones

I was looking for a Bluetooth option for the gym, and did a lot of research on the different options. Having heard the PowerBeats, and being unimpresssed with the sound quality, I looked to Bose and the X3's as being the next option. I ended up with the Jaybirds, and am very happy. Once I put the comply foam tips on, and figured out how to get the best fit, I was very surprised with just how much better the sound was over other earbud type headphones I had tried. They seal noise incredibly well with the foam tips, and when you include the equalizer app, the range of sound these can do is perfect for tweaking to your ideal sound. Obviously, you aren't going to get the same experience using these as you would a mid or high tier headphone, but for high activity options, I can easily recommend these. Pro: Great seal with foam tips Quick charging Can achieve a wide range of sound Easily connects to devices Once set, the fit is secure Good microphone for phone calls Con: Bit of a process figuring out fit Bluetooth range is shorter than ideal Can take a bit to get used to fins Carrying bag is annoying Foam tips need replacing every few months Overall, if you have the patience to go through the different options to achieve a comfortable and secure fit, these are very good sounding headphones for the price. Absolutely perfect for the gym. Just pay close attention to the manual when experimenting with fit options.

These headphones passed all of my expectations. I had purchased a pair of powerbeats before these, and quickly returned them and picked up the X3's. Best headphone decision I've ever made. The sound quality is very clear with a good yet unexpected amount of bass. I love that the app can change the sound of the headphones to what you like best. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good quality pair of headphones.(especially for going to the gym :)

I bought an Apple watch and needed to run wire free to leave the large phone at home. I asked for help on FB and was surprised to get the most recommendation for this company I had never heard of! I bought a pair and returned it after trying it in the parking lot. I did some more research and found it comes with a flat sound, but using the app to change the EQ stores the settings in the ear piece until you change it, even after changing devices. This was important because I was severely unhappy with the lack of initial bass. I use bass heavy music for all workouts, running or lifting, like Britney Spear, Far East Movement and Pitbull, and I can't work out without it. I bought the thing again, determined to make it work. I again swapped the tips and wings for the large sets, turned up the bass in the app and went for a run. It was good, but the tips slipped ever so slightly during my run and I lost much of the bass after losing the seal. I just found the fix at home. I took a pair of large Sol tips from another headset and forced them to fit. Jaybird doesn't have a large enough set in the box or through extra order from the web site, so you might have to rig it like I did. The Sol tips also have a much larger sound hole. I noticed with the Jaybird tips that they had to be pointed just right to get the sound, even when pressing in to force the seal. Now I have the tight seal and the bass I wanted!

    Best Wireless Earbuds

I was an owner of the X2's and unfortunately I lost them. I went on to buy these and I must say they still bring the same great sounds for wireless earphones. the X3s do have this app which allows one to use and equalizer to adjust sounds setting, which I think is a great addition. I use these headphones mostly for when I go to the gym since the wireless aspect is must for me. Not having the cords dangle while I workout really makes things a lot easier to focus. The wingtips and the ear pieces are also great for a secure fit. All in all I was very pleased with this purchase.

After what seemed like an infinite number of reviews watched and read I ultimately chose the the X3's. Right out of the box I put them in my ears and started listening to music, I almost returned them.. I'm glad I didn't after fully charging them, getting the right ear bud inserts and tweaking the sound app the sound is great. I feel like a good inner ear seal produces the best sound. The battery life is good, lasts multiple runs and and they pretty much disappear when wearing them, I also didn't notice much wind noise while wearing them. I'm glad I bought them..

The wireless bluetooth earbuds with a minor flaw

I have to admit that the JayBird X3 earbuds are great when worn around the back of your head with the fasteners but the minute you start to move around with the phone in your pocket, the connection to the earbuds click out and you are left with an annoying connection issue. The only remedy was to wear the earbuds loosely fastened to allow some space between your left earbud with the mic from your head. That seems to fix the issue but I wish Jaybird would address this major design flaw. Other than that, these earbuds paired with the app work and sound great!

Great headphones for running the ear buds are better than the 1st generation. They stay put doesn't fall out. The bass is great especially with mysound app, if you have a ps vita these headphone connect to the device but no sound . Don't get if you want to use on ps vita. But overall for the price its great battery last for 9hrs my use. And it tells you the % of the battery life.

In short, these are great and exactly what I was looking for. I previously owned the original Bluebuds X and somehow lost them on the way to the gym after 3+ years of ownership. I always remembered them for having impressive sound quality and durability, albeit ok battery life. After trying to go back temporarily to a pair of ear pods before replacing them, I was on the way home in the Vegas airport when I stopped by a BB Kiosk and bought the Bose wireless headphones. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to give them a shot, and if I didn't like them I would give them to my significant other who would appreciate the comfort and be less critical when it came to sound quality. Sure enough that's what happened. I found the Bose extremely comfortable, and while they sounded good they did not blow me away. The Bose are a ton of mid range, or "warm" in audiophile language, but they don't excite me from a sound profile prospective. A couple of days later I bought these for myself and found myself with a similar impression as my first pair, albeit a couple of differences. 1) The battery life has been significantly upgraded over the originals; and 2) to get the appropriate sound profile you need to use the app with EQ adjustments. The original didn't have an EQ adjustment so they just sounded solid out of the box. The flat out of the box profile of these will probably leave some a little less than impressed but pick a sound profile you like from the options provided, or do what I did and modify those options further for a custom sound and you'll be amazed. Great bass, clean mids and bright exciting highs without being harsh. Great buy and would recommend.

I liked these earbuds. The only issue is the charging apparatus that Jaybird uses with these headphones. It’s starting to become extremely annoying. They fit great and the sound is impeccable. I absolutely love the app that lets you customize the sound to your liking. These would have gotten 4 stars if it weren’t for that charging cord accessory.

I needed new headphones and wanted Bluetooth buds. I asked an associate for help deciding and she led me straight to Bose. When I told her I wasn't concerned with name brand or really all that concerned with the quality of noise canceling, she led me to these. I got the larger model for more bass. They have a great free app you can download, great sound quality, plenty of bass for sure, tons of configurations, good noise cancelation, a long (supposedly > Bose) battery run time, & they're cheaper than Bose. I'm convinced I made the right decision.

These are great! I almost pulled the trigger on the X2, but when I heard about the X3 and the MySound app, I went for these and don't regret it. I love being able to configure the sound to the way I like it, especially depending on the type of music I'm listening to. The battery on these is fantastic...I use them all the time. I've used them on planes and while snowblowing my driveway...The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancellation or sound blocking or whatever you call it when you don't hear a lot of outside noise...Is phenomenal. I've got my snowblower going and I don't even hear it...I had to check to ensure it was running the first time I wore them while snowblowing. I have 2 small complaints that kept it from being a 5 Star rating. 1) The charging connector sucks. You need to snap it into this little plastic adapter and it always takes me 2-3 tries to push it/snap it in properly. 2) The fit inside my ear...It comes with 3 different size buds to put in your ears, S/M/L. The Small are too small. The Medium are juuuuust a bit big on me. They push in most of the way, but never TRULY secure in there like I'd hope they would, but they pretty much stay put. Especially if you have a hat on over them holding them in place. An in-between size would be perfect for me, but there are only the 3 offerings.

I did my share of searching pros and cons for a number of different wireless headphone and found these to be one of the best results. These sound great after downloading the jaybird app and being able to choose from a list of preset equalizer settings. The battery last approx 8 hours which is a lot better than most. I'm very happy with my choice and being a runner I thought they would fall out because I sweat like crazy, but I have had no problem with them coming out what so ever. I am very happy with my choice and I think you will be too!

This is the best bluetooth headphones i ever had. Pros: 1. Exceptional sound clarity with deep bass (but not great as PB3). 2. Perfect fit for my ears with lot of customization options with ear buds. 3.My sound app customizing sound signature. Cons: 1. Poor microphone in noisy environment. 2. Poor noise isolation. 3.Charging hassle with an adapter.

The X2 were my first pair of jaybird heap hones. Too paint the picture for the amount of usage, I go to the gym about 5 days a week and the days i do not go, ill use them at school. i can find myself having to charge them almost every day, only because I do not want to be caught working out and my headphones suddenly die. The fit seems to be the same for me compared to the X2. Never had them fall out of my ears and hardly feel they are there. They sound does seem to have been improved a little but nothing earth shattering. The X3's come and assortment of accessories to help get the correct fit, unfortunately one of the Comply Foam tips has somehow how teared after about first week of use(reason for negative star). Apparently both of the Comply Foam tips have torn after about a weeks use. I have used the companion sound app on my iPhone 7 which seems to work fine, although I wasn't able to find way to disengage a sound profile and going back to default without resetting the headphones entirely. Overall I am still happy with the headphones. Believe these were a nice upgrade from the X2's not a necessary one. If you are in the market for a good pair of headphones to fit your active lifestyle this will work perfectly.
