Great deal if you can get it under $100. Would actually lean toward 4.5 stars. Definitely like the app that lets you customize the sound. Pretty comfortable for about an hour. I use the wings, which seem to help keep them in place a little better in my small ears. I also use the clip for the back of my shirt - that seems to keep the volume control from weighing too heavily on one side. I use them primarily for running, and they stay secure. Careful when using outside though, because they block out the noise.

Sound as expected, cord catches on neck

These sound great. No complaints there. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the cord (which is somewhat flattened) catches on the back of your neck sometimes when you turn your head. This results in one ear falling out or becoming loose in your ear. The company would tell you to try a different attachment to get a snugger fit, I've done that. They fit snug, but the cord is the problem. Happens more when you're sweaty. This is probably why Apple came out with their (way overpriced) cord free buds.

I say affordable because they're not that expensive, especially if you can catch them while they're on sale. I got mine for $99, which is well below that the Bose wireless sport earbuds cost. These have awesome sound isolation with the Comply foam tips. I use them to help block everything out while I'm at the gym. There is a tiny bit of static, it's barely noticeable, and that could just be caused by interference from other wireless electronics. Just turn the volume up a bit and you won't notice. Very nice bass and nice clean highs. They just sound great all-around. I highly recommend.

Just got mine in the mail. Had to mess around with them a little to get them for right, but once they did they don't come out unless I make them. Comfier than apple headphones for sure and without all the cord.

I've used this product heavily for a few months now. The product itself works great but I believe the Bluetooth technology has its issues. I've discovered my body is the ultimate Bluetooth shield. I have to strategically place my phone so that my body is not in the way of the headphones main control. It's very quirky if i have my phone in my pocket. I have to keep the headphones wire under my chin rather than behind my head and that seems to work well. Sound quality is great. Nice and loud too.

I've tried several Bluetooth headphones and these are one of my favorites. They sound awesome and are comfortable. The only negative is the need to carry the charging base with you. You can't just connect a standard USB cable to the headphones. Also, the shirt clip design could have been better . However I have no regrets about this purchase.

They Jaybird X3s are a fantastic pair of Bluetooth headphones! They sound great, they are lightweight and comfortable, sweat resistant and durable. I wear them around my neck every day and use them SO much. I'm quite happy with them. Because I wear them around my neck so often I was concerned that the inline controller might be a little bulky. It is a little bit bigger than the one on the X2s. It's really not that much bigger though and it doesn't feel bulky. I definitely recommend this product.

I have the original set, the X2's and these by far are the best. Great fit and sound, good battery lfe and that is the only problem with these types of head phones. But these last longer than any other set. Not sure the new way to charge is my favorite, makes it so you can not use anyother kind of charge. The way to connect is a bit different and can be kind of a pain but you don't have to open a cap anymore. Overall, amazing sound, best headphones with best battery life I have found.

This is my 1st pair of wireless headphones. I wanted something that would be more portable than my trusty Grados. The sound is tremendous! (and I am picky) The mic works for calls quite well. Charging is a breeze, and I am getting 7+ hours easily. I don't use the fins as I have found they hurt my ears after a half hour or so, but they stay in place great with just the foam tips. I may still prefer a wired over the ear set, but for on the go listening, these are quite amazing! Well worth $130!

    Lookout bose Jaybird is back!!

Before my purchase, I read a few reviews to help me make my decision on these wireless headphones. First off let me say that these headphones are nothing short of AMAZING. Now i'm not an audiophile person, but, compared to my bose wired headset, these just blow them out of the water, when it comes to clarity, bass and treble tones. Another great feature with these is the app that can be downloaded via playstore or apple, to fine tune your sound experience and save the settings as well! In the past i used to have a set of the earlier jaybird headphones and you needed a dongle to transmit the signal, they wern't as prestine as these in sound or fit. But, now that i have these, bose just became my gaming headset, and will do fine for the use (as they're falling apart at the connections due to the rubber coating breaking down only after 3 years of use, normal wear and tear i suppose). I also liked the fact when these are turned on and inserted into your ears, it tells you the battery percent and notify you when they're linked to your device(s). A definite upstep from what i've had in the past. The app isn't perfect when it comes to refreshing your battery percentage (life), but i'm sure jaybird will present a fix somewhere down the line. The charging port is a little finicky at first, but understand, micro b usb plugs do wear out over time in devices, i accept the contact approach gladly, just be sure to use the elastic string around your micro b cable (so you don't lose it, otherwise you won't have a way to charge your battery). The ear tips it comes with are both silicone and foam, and the lub tips to secure in the inner rim ear area, come in different sizes as well, will make for a comfortable fit. Just read the quick start guide to make sure you're doing it right. Overall, I'm back with jaybird audio, and if you're looking for headphones that CAN compete with beats and sol, look no further, these DO AND WILL DELIVER!! Go grab a set, you will NOT be disappointed.

My only real con on this product is the charging dock for the earbuds. It takes awhile to get adept at clicking them into it quickly. There is an app that allows you very specific audio settings which is great, but there are so many choices it’s hard to choose one; you can manually adjust and make your own settings too. The earbuds sound great, my hope is that they don’t deteriorate quickly like every other set of buds I’ve ever owned inevitably do. So far so good with these Jaybirds.

Excellent sound quality (great bass), had some difficulty with the fit (sometimes doesn't stay in ears during workout, and a little painful at first). Overall, would recommend. Others may not have the same fit issue (it does have other buds to adjust, but still challenging for me). Appears durable for workouts.

The YouTube videos are great for setting up and fitting the buds. Sound is great in them, and I use the app to shape the sound to the music I play. The battery has fairly long life, and I like that it lets me know how much charge is left when I turn them on. The charger is clunky, and the only negative, as it can be difficult to snap into place. (Why don't they simply use a mini usb like everyone else?) They have never fallen out of my ears (been wearing them for 5 weeks).

Jaybird right now (in my opinion) has the best bluetooth headphones on the market. This pair has the best quality sound. Not too much bass, but just the right amount to make the music sound amazing.

These headphones are amazing. The saying definitely goes with wireless headphones is that you get what you pay for. I went through a few cheaper wireless headphones and their sound and build quality were horrible. I'm by no means an audio enthusiast but I do enjoy a good sounding product. I'm very active and having headphones that last 8 hours and that have SEVERAL options for fitment is a huge plus. No complaints what so ever on this product!
