    Very Disappointed

I had a jbirdX3 that I used for about 2 years. The battery life was great, about 7 to 8 hours of constant use without an issue. It was damaged and I had to replace it. The X4 is just not up to the same standard. I get maybe 1:45 to 2 hours of time before I get the 20 percent warning after an overnight charge. Totally unacceptable. I tried to return them to Best Buy and they refused the return, told me I had to deal with the manufacturers warranty. I have owned this headset for less than 30 days as of today and it's just not working. I also get allot of background noise from the microphone rubbing on shirt collars. Never happened with the X3. What happened? As far as Best Buy is concerned I will not be shopping there again. Hello Amazon.

First of all, great for exercising, I never worry about sweat. The sound quality and battery life are so good I started using them for office too. I wouldn't use them for running unless away from traffic (decent passive noise cancellation). I have to admit I wish the charging cable would attach more easily than it does. For example the cable attaches only one way. In the dark I think there are probably like eight ways you can try to attach it... I also wish they were a little bit lower profile (how much they stick out of the ears). I've tried wearing ear muffs on top of them and it doesn't work very well. I appreciate the different sizes provided for ear tips and fins, in my case I had to do some trial before finding the best match. Overall great headphones.

Husband had originally bought the X3 for his birthday, he loves researching products and it fit the bill. After lots of good use the X3's finally began to experience issues and the time to upgrade arrived. Absolutely loves the sound, the bass is deeper, the highs are more precise. Battery Life is about the same as the X3 which gives him a whole day of use, generally charges overnight Charger system is essentially the same as previous, do NOT lose it for dongle is expensive to replace Wireless reach is a LOT farther than the X3, he can leave his phone in the house and walk outside to throw out the trash and still not disconnect (20ft?) Phone app is great to choose your sound Overall 5 stars! would definitely buy again!

Read multiple reviews on numerous headphones with similar features and these had the best for price point and features. After using them for about a week now I can see why reviews were very positive. They extremely clear, crisp sound with outstanding base. Was not at all expecting this sound quality at this price point. The only thing I am not completely satisfied with is battery life. However I knew when buying them they were on lower end of battery life for these types of headphones. As long as the headphones hold up to normal use and last a few years, Jaybird definitely earned my business going forward. Jaybird, if you see this, how much better are your next level up headphones?

If your primary interests are the sound and your earbuds being sweat/water proof then these are the best hands down. The only ones to compete with these are the Jaybird Tarah Pros. The main difference being that these are in ear and the Tarah Pros are not. If the X4s had a braided cord and magnets to connect the buds when not wearing them I’d say they would be above the Tarah Pros. The sound is incredible once you tweak them with the app. The short cord could be a minus if you prefer a longer cord like the Beats X. The clip helps keep these from falling and losing them. I suggest using some comply foam tips for the best results for passive noise cancellation.

I have been a power beats fan for years. With the beats 2 being my favorite earbuds of all time. I upgraded to the power beats 3 this month and they were very disappointing. So I returned then and our heading and Jaybird x4 after countless research and boy was I shocked with these earbuds. The sound blowing beats out of the water and with the customizable EQ the sound options are endless. I was uncertain to how they would stay in my ears during a run or CrossFit workout and after a few workouts and runs I have nothing but great things to say. They did not budge at all while in my ears I would recommend these to anyone looking for new earbuds.

Do not buy. My left earbud stopped working entirely after 2 months of light use. I've tried to contact Jaybird for a replacement and have yet to receive a response. A brief Google search showed that this has been a known issue with model and past Jaybird models. Outside the BestBuy return period unfortunately, so a couple hundred dollars wasted. Buyer beware!!! Save your money or buy a different brand. If you're attached to getting a Jaybird product, make sure also get the Geek Squad protection. You will likely actually need it for this product.

Purchased a pair of X3 November 2017 for a trip to Ireland. Great sound but after 2 months the ear pieces would come off. 6 months later they would not charge. Replacements lasted 7 months, same problem. I had extended coverage so Best Buy replaced with X4, got them home, no left speaker. Replaced the next day worked for 30 days and would not turn on. I loved the fit and sound but 60 miles round trip to replace, sorry were done hear. I think the purchase by Logitech may be the down fall. Best Buy highly recommended then every time I was in and they are highlighted on the front facing end cap. Sorry Jaybird and Best Buy, we are moving on to Bose

      Hello TLPR,

We are sorry to hear that your Jaybird X4 do not turn on. Please send us an email at Jaybirdlistens@Jaybirdsport.com and we will get you taken care of to improve your experience.

Please try these troubleshooting steps that can help to resolve the issue of your headset's battery:

-Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
-Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
-Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,
-To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
-Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
-Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

I've been shopping for a set of wireless earbuds for a while, and looked many reviews. When these went on sale, combined with the good reviews, I thought I'd try them out. The sound is awesome, especially paired with the app where you can load different sound EQ firmware settings that follow the headphones wherever you pair them. Battery life has been as expected. I wish it used a more universal charger, such as Type C, but the proprietary charger works well. They fit comfortably in my ears after finding the right ear buds and wing holder things. Comes with a convenient travel pouch as well.

I have a pair of Jaybird X2's and was very happy with them but decided to upgrade to the X4s. Absolutely love the sound quality and the app with the equalizer is amazing! BUT!!!! They kept cutting out... I counted them cutting out over 60 (yes 60) times in just one song. It was terrible. I searched help in the app and found I needed to reset them, which I did. It helped with the cutting out some. Still 10x plus per song. So I exchanged them where I purchased them for another pair. This pair is much better... they still cut out occasionally, but only occasionally. So I'll keep them. The fit & sound is Great!!

Like the X3s I had before (lost, not broken), the X4s have amazing sound and do a great job of blocking ambient noise. I wear them in the gym and on airplanes, and I find them better than bulky Bose (also have) headphones at making things quiet. Sound quality from music and phone calls is great. Nice base. Good highs and meds. My only complaint: the mic pics up everything. If you are in a noisy Starbucks (which one isn’t?), the people on the other end of your call will hear the conversation from three tables over. Unfortunately for most work calls I have to switch back to crappy Apple plugins.

Before X4 , I tried X3. Right Out of the box , it was okish. Sound quality was bit harsh for me and not to mention uncomfortable in ears due to the fact that I currently Own Bose Soundsport headphones . But when I tried X4 , right out of the box , sound quality was darn good. And much much comfortable. Being Bluetooth 5.0 in built , they have lot of advantages especially in battery life and range. Plus not to mention the connection will be superior and less music bitrate compression. I would highly recommend the product. For $129 its worth it when you compare others in $100-$200 range.

These headphones are comfortable, especially if you normally don’t like the pairs that go into your ear canal. They still go in, but aren’t forced to go as deep as other pairs due. Plus, there’s not just the traditional rubber ear pieces in there, but there are foam ones you can use instead. The wing options help the eat pieces stay in your ear when working out so it’s less likely to fall when you’re running too. The Jaybird app that you can use helps you customize the sound of what you’re listening to, and even has a fit guide as you initially set them up so you can find the buds that work for you.

Okay so I was training for the AC marathon and 3 days before the race my headphones stopped working,I had been training for 3 months with music and and knew I couldn't run without it so what do you do, go to bestbuy! They did an awesome job with my warranty and I got these awesome jaybird headphones that were easy to pair with my phone the sound quality was great right out of the box and they fit nicely in my ears and I love the fact that I could clip them behind my neck instead of under it,so I was able to run 26.2 miles with no issues and hit my goal of 3:30:15 thanks

Got them 2 days ago and already have problems. First day I turned down my volume from my phone while the earphones were connected & they ended up disconnecting completely. They didnt last 8 hrs at all even at a medium volume. I like the EQ thing with the App but every song is different so if you would want true sound, you would have to constantly mess with the eq. Today after charging them fully they stayed at 80% then 2 hrs later died on me. I will be returning them today & getting a much cheaper pair of something else.

These were recommended to me by more than one staff member at the store who had gone through and used most of the newer Bluetooth earphones. I took them home and charged them up and haven't stopped using them since. The audio is crisp with the foam ear parts in and the app is great so you can customize your sound preference. The battery lasts a long time and the "Jarvis" type voice that welcomes you with the battery level is great too. I would highly recommend these.

I bought a pair in early 2018 for use while running and at work. The fit and sound quality were very good. The battery could last longer, but at least they tell you how much charge is left. The charger is clumsy, and easily lost, and I lost it once and had to replace it. Worse, however, was that the earbuds stopped working after 4 months. That is, they would not charge. The tech rep walked me through a reset. That worked once and they lasted another couple months. Then they stopped working again, this time for good.

These headphones feel great. I use them throughout the day and always when I work out. I switched the tips to the comply foam tips, and with the rubber fins, I never have problems with them falling out. The sound isn't for audiophiles, but they're pretty rich when you combine it with the good noise isolation. Sometimes the connection can be kinda wonky if you're keeping the phone on the left side of your body, though. Overall, they're a solid pair of wireless headphones.

I owned the X3's for about 5 months until they stopped charging all together. I had to pay extra to upgrade to the X4's since they discontinued the old ones. Its only been 25 days, and now these X4's will not charge at all. When plugged in, all I see is a green light, but no charging takes place. I have called Jaybird many times and they just tell me to replace them. Going to try another brand, Jaybird sucks in my personal opinion.

I'm a headphone junky and have been looking for the perfect headphones for working out. I think I found them. They are a bit pricey but well worth it. Bluetooth pairing is easy. Range is good. They fit well and stay in my ears even when lifting and jogging. They clip to each other magnetically and when clipped together like that they pause the music. They have an incredible battery life. Advertised as up to 14 hours and I've got pretty close to that number in my own usage. HIGHLY recommend.
