I liked these but my right ear must be freaky and shame on anyone who noticed and never said anything. Regardless the right ear kept falling out. I ultimately had to buy over the top ear holder style...took 3 diff pair to try to find something.

the design to hold the cord tight is bad. I suggest going back to the X3's if you run alot. Other than that they are good to go

Works just great and detects blutooth easily. It even has a app for further customization and battery information. I would recommend this to anyone that has a android or doesn't like the Apple Airpod style. Only caveat is the way how the earphone is shaped and may not fit perfectly with everybody's ear, otherwise it's really snug. Also as it has a wire, there is still a chance of discomfort with the wire being able to be snagged. As such, you also can't really listen with just one earphone, you HAVE to have both earphones on because its really uncomfortable to leave the other loose and have either gravity or friction from your shoulder be a problem. If you hate cables back then, this may not be for you. But it's really well built and sounds great, not really much more you can ask for.

I am slightly disappointed in Jaybirds production of the x4. The sound quality and comfort are as expected which are not bad. The sound is very deep and rich and the buds are comfortable to wear and block out all ambient sound. The build quality seems a bit cheap and ordinary. I don't like how the ear tips are separate from the buds which makes it feel unsecure and hard to get the buds to fit the same on each side. I thought they would have upgraded this feature from the previous versions. Over time I think the wing tips will wear out and not stay put on the buds as they feel really thin. I don't like the charging cradle feature at all. I would rather have the universal usb-c charging dock for ear buds just in case I don't want to carry an additional charging cradle, So overall, as a Bluetooth earbud set it is fine for listening to music while lounging or working out. I just am not impressed with the whole design and production for something at this price point. There are better options if you want to reach into your pocket for this much.

For being my first pair of Jaybird headphones the experience has been good. Out of the box you get plenty of ear tips and wings to find a comfortable size. The app is very well designed and provides extra functionality for the headphones like adjusting equalizer setings or setting them up. Equalizer settings works well with my Android device and with most music players. One of my favorite features is how Jaybird allows you to upload your equalizer profile to share just like you would with your Spotify playlist. I found several ones that I like already and being able to preview them without having to save them is nice. Sound quality has been good with difference genres of music from rock to hip hop music. The headphones seem to be built well and being sweat and water resistant should help with the durability term. My only gripe would be how you charged them. I can see why they designed it this way due to the water/sweat resistant design but if you forget to bring the charging cable you will have no way to charge them. Jaybird does offer a charge crade that uses a micro usb connection but for now it's sold out at this time. Overall I could not find any cons besides the short proprietary charging cable. Battery life is decent and the sound coming out from the headphones is good. With the additional ear tips and wings provided they don't fall off easily and are comfortable to use for an extended period of time. The Jaybird x4 should be on top of your list of Bluetooth headphones that you are considering purchasing. For future purchases I will definitely be considering Jaybird.
