I have owned a number of speakers over the years and have always loved the crisp and full sound produced by JBL. However this sound bar did not meet my expectations. With the volume turned all the way up, its not very loud and the sound quality is just average at best. I would not recommend this product .

Real issue is connectivity--this speaker disconnects any time there is no audio for 10 or 15 minutes. This means that when you pause a show for any length of time, you'll have to reconnect the speaker. Turn on the TV in the morning, reconnect the speaker. Evening news? Reconnect. It's been like this for months, and there is no solution for this problem. It is a power-saving "feature" built in by JBL. Am buying a Sony soundbar this weekend to replace it.
