    I got an open box last week and wasn’t happy with the sound output from this. The bass was very flat and voice wasn’t very clear. Maybe cos I’m used to better sounding systems? But, I got this based on the reviews here and only after I got it I realized most of them were incentivized. I went in person, demo’d multiple other soundbars and settled for a Samsung and returned this one. My piece of advice to anyone buying a soundbar or home theatre: please check it out In person before buying it!

    Just got this from Best Buy via the app and curbside pickup. I must say this ordering system is seamless and so convenient! I unboxed and hooked up this JBL soundbar, so easy to install which got me even more excited because my Samsung tv immediately recognized the external speaker via hdmi ARC. Upon trying out different types of shows from news channels to movies to concerts and music videos, this soundbar unfortunately falls way short when it comes to sound quality. Low volumes will not bring out the clarity and when you crank up the volume mid way to higher levels you distinctly hear distortions which i found so irritating! Immediately boxed this up again and will return to upgrade to a better sound bar

      Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One. Our sound bars have a feature called ‘Smart Mode’ that implement our unique JBL Surround Sound as well as other tailored EQ settings. While these are great for content that needs a helping hand, for some multi-channel content it can be overwhelming. To toggle between smart mode and standard surround, on the remote control, press and hold MUTE for more than 3 seconds, then press Volume Up (+). "OFF SMART MODE" or "ON SMART MODE" will be displayed. However, sound bar defaults to smart mode whenever it is powered on. If you need more help, please contact us. JBL

    Terrible sound quality and volume options. It comes disconnected from the TV and/or doesn’t turn on far too frequently. This sound bar is wildly overpriced for the issues that come with it.

    Do not recommend. Sometimes it works perfectly and other times we have to unplug for it to connect correctly to the tv. Our cheaper Vizio worked every time.

    This sound bar is a huge disappointment! The Bluetooth is a pain to connect to our tv. I assumed, once it was connected, it would connect every time the two are on together, NOPE. Tha was a pipe dream. You have to manually go through and reconnect it every time, and half the time it doesn’t even connect. The worse part, I bought it, tried it a couple of days and was out of town on business beyond the 14 day return policy, now I’m stuck with it.

    If your TV speakers are non functional this is an upgrade. However, if your TV speakers produce sound, this soundbar is no upgrade. You get what you pay for. JBL is known for quality speakers and headphones…….. this soundbar is trash. I returned it. I own an TCL roku TV, the TV speakers are better than the soundbar. Honestly amazes me that a company could market a product of this caliber. IMHO it’s only useful if your TV speakers are non functional

    It's a working speaker. I actually never go out of my way to turn it on with my tv because it doesn't sound any different or better then the samsung tv speakers. I wish i hadn't bothered with it.
