However in the bedroom it sounds better than in the large living room. Overall it had a good sound , easy to install and connect via Bluetooth. . Would use in smaller rooms and in large rooms get a subwoofer to pair it up with.

|Posted .This would be absolutely perfect for a nice, simple sound upgrade for a bedroom TV, if it were not for one major downfall: the lack of any equalizer settings. The ability to adjust treble and bass individually would be ideal, but many soundbars restrict you to a handful of equalizer presets. This bar doesn't even have those. There is nothing. The result is that too often, the audio is too low-end heavy and booming and there's nothing you can do about it.

Good sound for the $$ - buy an optical cable also

The package says it is used with the TV's optical input, but it does not provide an optical interface cable - only an HDMI. The HDMI does not sync the sound well with the picture.

I purchased this to go under my Samsung TV in my office, after previously purchasing a JBL 2.1 speaker system for our TV in our living room, that we are very happy with. I don't think it has any better sound than the TV. I would have probably returned it, but I had thrown the box away. I am using it with the HDMI/ARC. I tried the optical connection, but could not get it to work. 1 downside is when I hooked up the HMDI cable and changed the TV to control this speaker, it took the volume numbers off my TV screen. I now only get a volume box without really know what the level is or if I am going up or down. I would probably encourage you to pass on this unit.

|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Awesome soundbar. Really like JBL brand speakers. It’s a smaller soundbar, but it packs a nice punch. If you have a big living room, maybe would look into one with an additional speaker.
