Needed something better than onboard TV speakers. Decent sound, but wife hears bass distortion or humming when it is turned up. Good for basic TV set up, but not for home theatre use.

Easy to connect and I recommend using a digital optical audio cable to connect it for the best sound performance. Bought for my parents and it was a marked improvement over the normal TV speakers.
