    Not a very quality sound , the bass is weak, doesnt really give off any surround sound qualities and it not very loud . Disappointed in this purchase . I ended up putting this set up in my garage.

    Very easy to hookup just plug and play. Great sound! How ever After 6 months it stopped working. Very disappointed.

    Good sounding soundbar. But after a few years the subwoofer works when it wants to. Have to push on the cone sometimes to make it work.

    Didnt seem to make an audio difference to me. Basically the same power of volume as your TV speakers

    Got these as a replacement for an older Sony sound bar that finally bit the dust after many years. I took a risk having never bought a jbl product before. After this experience I would not buy another JBL product. First off, the sound is absolutely awful, I don't know how to describe it besides it sounds like the mids and highs are coming out of a cardboard tube. The sound is slightly improved if you turn off surround mode, but that sort of defeats the purpose of a sound bar in my opinion. Also, you have to turn this feature off manually, using the included remote, every single time you turn the device on - which is painful and absolutely defeats the purpose of using the soundbar with ARC connectivity (so you only need the TV remote to control volume). Second - the ARC connectivity itself doesn't seem to work properly - my TCL tv has a feature that automatically turns on and switches to an input if it detects activity - for example if I use my playstation controller to turn the console on. This causes problems for JBL soundbar, and it would not awaken out of standby mode, which for me, again, defeats the purpose of ARC connectivity. Last - the bass is WAYYY too heavy, even on the lowest setting. This is an absolute death sentence for gaming and TV audio. Maybe not so much if all you do is watch cinema style movies and listen to music. I quickly returned this one for a similar Sony model, and none of these problems exist in that soundbar. I would never take another chance with JBL after this experience.

    I was expecting with the name JBL attached to it I would have been blown away by the sound. The subwoofer sound is almost nonexistent.

    I purchased this product exactly a year ago. At first it seemed like a great product, great sound and performance. Surprisingly after a year, of course after the manufacturer warranty expired, the subwoofer stopped working. The subwoofer won’t turn on, and like many others that have reviewed this product, it happened exactly a year after purchase.

    Sounds good, totally unusable. I have been a loyal JBL customer for awhile, I got this for my parents for Christmas and it is totally unusable. It constantly cuts out and flashes "PCM" then the sound comes back 5 seconds later. I have set the TV to PCM, DD, Pass Through, nothing fixes. Fiddled with settings for over an hour, and I'm giving up and returning. Amazing that a product can be this terrible, all it needs to do is play sound.
