    I set this up for my friend who wanted a low budget sound bar to connect to his new large yet cheap TV set. It's what it is: low cost, unimpressive performance.

    “Not that great”. Very little features, the sound isn’t all that great either. Can’t turn off the subwoofer unless I turn it all off. I’ll stick to my Sony

    I actually thought it was louder than it actually is, so I am stuck with this one.It was louder in the store than in my home.

    Bought open box, right before I moved. I did not open it up and finally got around to setting it up and there was no remote. I guess I should have opened it up to make sure it had everything. Pretty disappointing, Hope it works

    Not enough bass on this unit. Dont give u the surround sound effect unless its at max volume

    Sounds OK but I see no where in the specs that this unit has 4k pass thru.

      Our JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass does have a 4k pass thru. 4K format requires HDMI V2.0 and is not supported by this product. As a result, a distorted picture or black TV screen may occur. JBL

      We're here to help with your JBL Bar 2.1. Please try to press and hold the power button on the soundbar for 5 seconds. To also check if the issue is with the power cable, use the power cable of the subwoofer to power the soundbar. If the unit persists, please contact our customer support for further assistance. JBL

    Sub woofer has constant rumble. Nothing I have done stops it.

    First off deliver came box was destroyed foam inside crushed as if speaks were dropped or miss-handled sound quality sound is like tunneling base is not great rattles little bit the tweets or highs and mids are terrible i would not recommend this

    I absolutely cannot stand this sound bar for mainly one reason, it cuts in and out every few mins while streaming. Not only does the sound cut out, but my whole TV display turns off at the same time. I Googled the issue. I changed my settings multiple times due to the PCM thing it does and nothing works. I am about to throw this thing in the trash! It just seems to get worse over time. I've had this for about 8 months now. Last month it totally stopped working and it had to be reset. Total waste of money and will be buying a different brand that is not associated with JBL.

    I purchased this as an open box marked "Excellent." This is a rating for the person who gave it the excellent designation. The remote was broken and all of the necessary cables were missing.

    Heading over to the store to return it. I purchased an open box item and when we try to install it on our new Visio TV, it didn’t work right. It could be a malfunction so will probably look for a sound bar With the same brand as the TV. I know JBL is a great brand and we have wireless speakers and ear phone that works just fine unfortunately we weren’t so lucky with the sound bar, maybe that might be the reason why the previous person returned it, it was probably malfunctioning.

    Sounds ok but always having connections issues when we turn on our tv. Don’t waste your time on this. No one should sell a product that can’t connect to the tv when you turn it on or turn to a different program.
