    I purchased these speakers after listening to the speaker selection in the store. When listening to the various speaker brands, including Kicker, Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, JVC, and Alpine, these JBL speakers sounded the best to me. They had a wide range, hitting clean lows and powerful mids without "tinny" highs like some of the other brands. Hats off to JBL for such a great product!
