Bought these and a pair of 6x9s (front doors) to replace rear door speakers 2012 Frontier, these buggers really kick, didn't want to replace the head unit since the Bluetooth runs through it, greatly im proved bass without the distortion at higher volumes that occurred with the stock wimps. I now consider myself a convert from pioneer. JBLs rock!

The sound on these speakers are awesome. The highs and mids are great and the bass of course not going to push your head back but it sounds balanced.

My son picked out these speakers after listening to them in the store demo. We had them installed in his Hyundai veloster because the factory speakers were blown in the doors. He could not made a better choice. Full, rich sound at a great price. JBL has been a trusted brand for a long time and now I know why.

You will NOT find a better bang for your buck than these. Crystal clear quality, can handle higher volume levels and work perfectly as mids/highs for systems with subs. These were highly recommended over sets that cost twice as much (by the BB employee) and I'm glad I went with her recommendation.

The JBL - 6-1/2" 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones (Pair) are a state-of-art speakers. This great product for the price is a real bargain. These speakers are easy to install and very strong structure. Can't complaint. I am very happy I bought them. Most of all, I feel I am in a real music studio when I drive.

I replaced my stock system in my car with the speakers, the stock system was a high-end brand,and these made my car audio sound 10 times better than it ever has. For the price you cannot beat the quality, I will purchase these for my other car and will recommend this to anybody who asks

Haven't installed these speakers yet but I will post another review when I do to tell you how they perform Were highly recommended by the salesman who helped me with the purchace. I had bought a set of Sony's about a year and half ago and the drivers side speaker blew. Idk why didn't have amp hooked to them. I also noticed that they do not carry the Sony's anymore. Didn't think you could go wrong with Sony but I had a bad experience with the 6 1/2 speakers.

As the title says. Audio is crisp, clear and the tweeter is directional, optimal for placement variations in vehicles. Bass response is not bad, but they definitely come alive with a subwoofer and fine tuning of the eq. Installation was as to be expected no surprises and it was definitely quite the jump from the aftermarket Rockville speakers that were in my ST previously. Overall good balance between the highs, midrange and bass, just don't expect thump rather well balanced sound. I have always loved JBL products and if you can grab them on a sale they make it even sweeter!!

Got these on sale at best buy for a great deal. $49.99. I have had this same set in my front door panels for over a year and they sound great with the factory radio. Big improvement over stock.

I have purchased about 4 pairs of them (8 total speakers). Two for my little car and two for my SUV. These speakers are great, balancing out the lower frequencies can be a little tricky. I have heard worse speakers with over pronounce frequencies, especially at lower frequencies. If you really want to see them shine use an amp. It will bring out more pop, pressurise your car a little bit, to improve the sensation of bass. You;ll want a subwoofer for better results, but that requires space. Something I am not interested in. Plenty of cheaper speakers, in a good way. Plenty of speakers at different price points $40 and UP. If you aren't going to use an amp with it, spending $100 on a pair of speaker would be overpaying for technology you wont be using. JBL has great sound can't go wrong with them. They aren't the best but they definitely are not the worse.

The remote start/security system is great and the new speakers sound very good. Your sales associate, James and installer, Tom just plain rock. They represent the best in customer service I have seen in a long time.

Only 2 bad thing was that the instructions didn't tell you what to do with the foam circles that came with the speakers. Had to buy connectors and cut and splice wires, I thought it would plug into my oem truck speaker's plug, nope. That was an inconvenience and took me way more time and effort than should be expected for oem replacement type speakers.

Got these speakers off a killer deal on Black Friday, extremely happy with the price I purchased it. I would just run a good amplifier to these speakers. I'm running a JL 4-channel amp on these and it's like being in a concert in my car

After sorting through different options, and reviews, I grabbed a set of these on sale and it was choice I'm happy with. If you like heavy bass you'll definitely like these. I actually had to tone the the bass down and up the mid range and treble. Very nice.

These JBL speakers work wonderfully in my car. I can rock out to some Boston or AC/DC just fine. If I'm feeling more spontaneous, they have more than enough range to support the bass of a lot of today's newer songs too. No problems at all with these.

We purchased these speakers to replace the ones in our Toyota Sequoia. We bought them at Best Buy and used their installers. Speakers are excellent and installation very professional.
