Food speakers not too much bass. And just to get better speakers than stock

I honestly don't know a lot about speakers, but these have left me very happy

dont really have an issue with the speakers they are pretty good

When I first heard these, I thought there was some electronic processing going on. (DSP) Nope. They really do just image that well. I am going to try to really give these a good review in the car doors, but to me, I would buy these in a second if I wanted to build a set of speakers for the house as my driver of choice. The fact they sounded almost as sweet as some of the home audio gear at Magnolia's high end rooms really made my ears and my eyes pop out. This had to be some wizard who made these sound this good. It reminded me of the better car audio I have seen over the years. This one is just amazing for the price. I would not hesitate for a second to buy these and hope the ones that come in the box sound this good as the display model on the sound board. I was blown away by just how distortion free the sound was. And it was not just a one note wonder. The tweeter and the midbass driver are well matched. I am not a big fan of the grill, but it could be worse. The fact that JBL really made a speaker that the rest of us audio guys care about that not only hits a price sweet point, it also does it with ease of installation in tight spaces is a testament to the JBL we all know and love.

Salesman took speakers out of carton to show me size. That was good. BUT he did not put the speaker wires back in and when I got it home, I had to improvise with some wire I had here and put mounting clips on. Very Frustrating.......................

Bought to replace oem door speakers in my daughter's Beetle, installed one and I could tell they weren't going to sound very good even compared to the stock speakers so I did not proceed with the install.

I needed to replace the (2) rear / behind the seats Sub woofers in my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire. This car comes with a factory Infinity (6) Speaker System, including (2) Tweeters, (2) Mid Range Speakers , and (2) Bass Woofers behind the seats. My (2) Bass Speakers had dry rotted, and needed to find replacements. Factory system handled 2 ohm speakers, with low wattage needed per channel, and very hard to find. Unfortunately you can no longer purchase these speakers from the Chrysler. Most speakers on the market are 4 ohm Speakers with a lot more power than I need. I spoke with one of the Techs at Best Buy, and he recommended that if I want to keep my current system, 4 ohms speakers would not give me the full sound that I want. The JBL GX602 were rated at 2.3 ohms, with about 60 watts continuous. I purchased them...and they were perfect. Perfect fit inside the factory speaker housing. Holes lined up perfectly, and was able to use the factory speaker harness. Easy connect; Red (positive), Black (negative)...that easy. No cutting, not modifying. Due to the factory Infinity having (2) Tweeters, (2) Mid Range Speakers and (2) Bass Range Speakers, the system has a built in Crossover. The JBL GX602 also has a range that will give me that bass, that I want to get back. This was an easy install, and a perfect match. Thanks for the tech at Best Buy for being straight up with me on the info and specs recommended, and Best Buy for carrying a great speaker. They were on sale too!!

Bought 2 pair of these speakers for my Infiniti I35, they sound great and were easy to install. I have a Kicker CX300.4 wired to these speakers and I couldn't ask for more. They deliver rich sound, good highs and deep lows. The bass is surprisingly good, you really dont need a subwoofer.
