These speakers work fine for someone who does not need deep bass sounds. They are average speakers 4 listening to books on tape

I've had these speakers for about 6 months now and i'm still amazed by them. My car comes with a 300 watt amp stock and the speakers deliver great bass and perfect high's. I ended up buying a second pair to put in my front doors since the original ones i put in the rear and you could hear how they were amazing compared to the much more expensive pioneers i had in the front so i ended up replacing the pioneers with another pair.

Better than the stick speakers, but still not great. Maybe an amp would make them sound as good as they should.

The speaker isn't that loud. I was wanting something with a little more bass and sounder

Ok speakers for a basic sound. If you want the highest quality then shop around.

Need to buy a sub if you're buying these, good sound but not much bass.

They weren't the cheapest option. They're okay just not that loud.

I chose these speakers because they had the cleanest sound of the other ones I heard on display. However I was unable to compare them to the similar priced coaxial infinity and polk audio speakers, which interested me, because they weren't hooked up both of the times I went in to best buy to listen. When played without EQ they could use a little more bass, however you only have to turn the bass up a few notches for all of the really low bass in your music to be there. When driving I listen to mostly rock, alternative and reggae and enjoy these speakers across all genres. I currently do not have a sub in the car and don't feel the need for one with these speakers and the minor bass adjustment they need. They are very power efficient and do not need much volume to be heard, they also go pretty loud without distortion. I just have a basic JVC for a receiver right now and it drives them very well.

So... I went to my local best buy because of a sale they had on another set of 2-Way 6.5-inch speakers. When I got to the store, I decided to listen to all the speakers that were connected in their display. I pleased with the sound quality of the Kenwood's that I had planned on purchasing, when comparing them to the sound of the Pioneer and JVC models. Then I decided to take a listen to the JBL GX602. BLOWN AWAY. I could hear instruments on the JBL's that weren't even present on the Kenwood's or ANY OTHER'S that were on display. It was like going from VHS to DVD, or Cassette to CD. It was THAT MUCH BETTER. Even though the price of the JBL's were double that of the Kenwood's that I had intended on purchasing, I bit the bullet and purchased them anyway. I loved them so much that I also decided to buy the matching 6x9's for the rear of my classic 1968 VW BUS. If you just want SOUND, then buy whatever you like. If you want to hear MUSIC... REALLY hear music. I suggest that you pickup a set of the JBL's. It really helps that I picked these up on sale! One final note... The speakers that came in at a CLOSE second (from a sound quality perspective) were the Kicker 2-Way 6.5-inch. I spent more than 30 minutes just comparing these two side by side, and although they were VERY CLOSE in sound quality, I chose the JBL's because their Mid Range was not as harsh as the Kicker, and the sale price on the GX602's made them cost just a few dollars more than the Kickers. If the GX602's had not been on sale, I most likely would have chosen the Kickers.

I took my time to remove and return these speakers and reinstall my stock Subaru speakers. These speakers did not have good sound quality even after adjusting the tune on the stereo

Bass burns out and install sucks. Brackets have been purchased 2 times and still not installed correctly. Bass cannot be set above 5 volume.

Quality of sound is not the best. Have settings on bass & not what I expected. Not the joyful sound for music.

Not NEARLY as good as the stock speakers. Would not buy again

If you are looking for powerful speakers look elsewhere

I bought these coaxial speakers along with the JBL component speakers and they all sound great; a lot better than the factory speakers! Best Buy installed them within three hours and they look professionally installed. Looking to get an amplifier from them as well.

Purchases them last week very poor sound quality even though i had a JBL amp to power them never buying these again.

These speakers are terrible!! The factory speakers sound WAY better. I'm not happy with these speakers at all.

I bought these speakers to replace all 4 of my door speakers in my 2012 Chevy Silverado. These speakers sound amazing and once I have my Kenwood touch screen installed I’m sure they will sound even better. I bought these after talking to the install guy at Best Buy. Great sound great price!!
