I have a Jeep wrangler. I got a pair of Kicker speakers for Christmas a few years back and they were a huge difference in sound in the Jeep - I could tell there was a huge difference immediately. Of course, 13 months later one blew (only one month outside the purchase date)... So, I was looking for something that wasn't Kicker, I wasn't very happy that they didn't last. I did some research for a while and purchased these speakers. I'm not impressed with the sound at all - in fact, I almost feel like the factory speakers were better than these. It feels like there is no depth to the sound, no bass, no real power. I feel like there is a lot missing in my sound, and unfortunately I spent time and money putting these into my vehicle.

I'm sure a good chunk of this is the fault of Best Buy, but I went there because the factory speakers in my truck were starting to go, and the buzzing was starting to become more noticable. Went to Best Buy for new speakers - was going to get Alpines, but ended up getting this after the sales person convinced me with a quick demo and a sale. After they were installed by Best Buy, within less than an hour these speakers started buzzing. Brought the truck back in, and they told me the speakers were blown already. This was after listening to country music, on low volume - something even remotely good speakers SHOULD be able to handle. Was told at this point that these speakers are not meant to have any bass whatsoever going into them, and that I should've had bass blockers installed in-line and a subwoofer instead. This would've been GREAT information to have BEFORE I bought them when I told the sales person I didn't want a subwoofer right now. I should've just gone with the Alpines instead of these junky speakers.

Was expecting much more out of these, pulled them back put after one day. They were in my 2014 Toyota Tundra and my stock speakers sounded just as good. Would not buy again.
