I was looking to replace the 6x9 speakers in the rear deck as well as the doors of my 2015 Charger RT. due to the climate control and other features being integrated into my stock stereo, I wanted speakers that could hold their own without requiring upgrading my OEM head unit. I read a LOT of reviews online as I am a musician and a serious audiophile. Ultimately I bought and tried the Kicker KSC equivalent as well as the Alpine equivalent. These JBL's CRUSHED everything else! I replaced all 4 speakers with these and it is night and day from the stock speakers! Absolutely KILLER sound!!!

Bought these speakers and they only lasted one week with no amp on them would not recommend

Not much bass. Front sounds louder than the back. Disappointed in the sound quality.

I installed the speakers inside my 2012 chrysler 200 on the rear speakers. They sound great! Only thing I had to do was make the factory plug wire into the female connectors and it only took two wires per speaker. Wasn't hard to install, maybe a little time consuming trying to find the screw I dropped and had to pull my rear seat up to find it. Lol Oh well, other then that. I adjusted the speakers with the *Stock* Stereo Deck and they made it much louder and very clear with a little more bass.

I had Geek Squad installed 2 pairs on my Camry XLE 2014 last week. Overall, the sound is around 50% better than the stock speakers. More treble, a little more bass but don't expect it will break your neighborhood's windows. However, when I open widely all four door in my 2 car-garage, the music is coming out really impressive and sounds much better it does in the car. I wish that kind of sound could be in my car, not in the garage! That's why it has 4 stars. If you want to install it by yourself, you properly need 2 pairs of spacers, or reuse the stock spacers, which is a pain. Because you have to cut out the speakers (speakers are molded in the plastic spacers) and garbage it. In short, it does sounds better, but is it worth to replace the stocks? It depends on how much you pay for parts and service as a whole. By the way, I am very pleased with Geek Squad Orlando (Florida mall); especially, Carlos had demonstrated an Excellent Service!

I got these for the back of my 91 buick, running an old pioneer cd player. The bass is amazing, the highs are crisp and clear. I feel a little lacking in the mids but im ok with that because i need to replace my front speakers. I also can't wait to get an amp for them, I've out grown the trunk rattling bass, but still have a need for sound quality. These speakers deliver that for sure.

Just installed them today and WOW!! These kill stock speakers big time!! Once I hook an amp up to these bad boys they are gonna be banging!

I would consider myself a music junkie. I like pretty much everything except Opera. I bought these to replace my front speakers in my 2014 Toyota Venza. The difference was night and day. They are very musical and provide a full range sound. For the price I wouldn't choose anything else. They don't need much power to get good sound out of them.

I bought a set of these for my 2012 Dodge Avenger and they sound great! Good all round sound.

I am in the process of upgrading the factory stereo sound quality in my 2014 Pathfinder. I did not want to replace the stereo as it integrates with other functions of the SUV. I performed a replacement of the front speaker with these as well as a pair of JBL 2-way 6.5 in speakers for the rear. I am very impressed with the increased quality of the sound both a low and high volumes. These speakers nearly matched the 2 ohm impedance rating of the factory so they are a good match. I still think the system needs the addition of an integrated sub-woofer but I am very pleased with the new speakers and the amount of sound quality improvements.

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel these speakers deserve some praise! I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 and was looking to improve the sound system. I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to install a new stereo so I took a chance with these higher end speakers and I couldn't be happier! I put the 6x9 speakers in the front doors and got the matching 6 1/2 inch speakers for the back doors and the system sounds great. The speakers don't distort at all even at maxed out volume. For reference my last 2 trucks I have installed new stereos with amps and these speakers on the stock stereo are just as clear and crisp as my last 2 trucks. It obviously isn't as loud without an amp, but I am very satisfied with my purchase!

I bought these to replace the factory "premium" Bose woofers in the rear deck of my Infiniti Q60. The Bose woofers were paper cone and quite cheaply made. I connected the JBL's to a 200 Watt RMS Pioneer class AB amp which I interfaced directly to the Bose factory system preamp signals to bypass the factory Bose amp (has built in low pass filter). The rear speakers had little power and also the highs and mids very lacking in clarity in the rear setup. These JBL's sound bright and crisp, low distortion. Made a world of difference. I am only using them for mid-bass and highs so I crossed them over at about 200 Hz. Great speakers!

Bought a pair of these to replace factory (junk) in the front doors of my 2014 Xterra. The factory head unit is decent, but the tuner leaves out a lot of the treble, These speakers really brightened things up. Also, the 6 speaker system was supplied with 2 ohm 6x9's in the front doors, so this was the only thing I could find locally that would work.These are 2.3 ohms, so TAKE NOTE - some head units will not tolerate less than 4 ohms, and you could damage things. They sound pretty good using XM or the radio, but really shine with CD's and external media players. Just using the factory head unit, they sound phenomenal with a sub, but would probably be even better if amped. One ding off for mostly pictures in the manual, and BB didn't have them in their demo rack - I went by reviews instead.

I replaced my factory Monsoon system with these. They are absolutely amazing. Forget about the minor sting of price. I did get these on sale, but no matter, they are worth it. I can not stand junk sound and these DO make you hear things you never were there. Put some power behind them if you really want to hear them breathe. Trust me, you will be throughly pleased with ANY genre of music.

Yes. Loud, Clear, Crisp. Thats all that needs to be said about these guys. I already had some aftermarkets in but they were starting to go out. I've never heard speakers sound this good in a car. I have A sony head-unit with an integrated amp that really gets these boys loud. My previous speakers would get drowned out by the exhaust on my rice burner. Not these bad boys.

As an avid JBL User, I can say that this product just adds to the great collection of JBL of which i own. Rich and deep sound throughout. JBL always carries great sound with all their products. Would recommend this or any JBL product to any of my friends.

easy to install, easy buying online and picking up in store

These JBL's are head and shoulders above factory installed speakers. Sound is great without any pre-amp or separate woofer. Installation was around a 100 bucks because wiring harness and two mounting brackets were required. I bought speakers for sale price of $103.00 from Best Buy. Would buy again.

I am a pro musician and I am a hardcore JBL fan when it comes to my pro gear. JBL gear always sounds great and never breaks. The GX speakers I just put in my sled rock. Great bass, they play really loud and the highs are really smooth and sweet.
