To shed some light. I went from a very old Vizo 3.1 bar to JBL’s new 5.1 (which is great) to this JBL 9.1. It was super easy to get it out and out of the box. Airplay is super easy to connect with any of your iOS devices. Even Appletv if for some reason you can’t connect to your tv via cable. Fortunately I bought a new TV with arc so I don’t have the HDMI connection hassle like some say. Setting up the remote speakers was easy. I tinkered with it a bit and put it a tad wider than what JBL recommended. The result was fascinating. Blown away by the power in this audio set up. On the 5.1 I had to average volume 27 or higher to give it cinema like sound/power. On the 9.1 I haven’t had to go past 25 with how much you can get out of this system. It’s an incredible pleasure to replicate an atmos cinema in your living room. To shed even more light, I have a slightly vaulted ceiling and still get great atmos results. Personally, I wouldn’t select high on Atmos on the remote. Medium does really well. An incredible A+. JBL killed it with this system.

Words cannot explain the sound quality Would highly recommend, well worth the money

This soundbar was easy to set up and operate. It sounds better than any others I have heard with a room filling full sound. The wireless rear speakers which can be easily charged allow for placement anywhere.

Easy to use, calibrate and mount. Dolby Atmos sound is amazing, I want more Atmos content out there. The negative? this thing keeps disconnecting at random times and its annoying. It reconnects but tech like this shouldn't have issues and JBL has not fixed us with a new firmware as of January 2023.

After debating for a while finally got the JBL 9.1 So far I'm very impressed with it. Rear speakers easily are getting 8 to 10 hours. I did put micro usb plugs by them so I can just leave them on the end tables. Bass is awesome and sounds quality great. I'm going to be getting a new tv soon, so then I'll be able to use Atmos. Definitely recommend this sound bar!!

Great sound. No problems with this unit, unlike the Bose unit that I purchased.

Not qualified to give a really technical review, but this ease of setup/use, sound quality, ease of sync with bluetooth is fantastic. Really glad I bought this versus cheaper brands and models. Sound quality for normal TV is INSANELY better than through the TV itself, and for music it is a fantastic.
