Purchases this sound bar as a replacement for a 10+ year old existing sound bar. This sound bar was easy to setup and integrate with a new Samsung TV. Impressive sound when watching shows and/or movies. Enjoy the ability to connect via Bluetooth to listen to music too.

This sound bar system is outstanding! I love the sound this thing puts out.. compares to Bose system in a different room. would be nice if the battery life of the detachable speakers lasted longer.

Purchased in October 2020. Overall very satisfied with the sound bar and it's features. The only issue I have is with JBL's decision to not include the 4 end caps in the US Version of the 9.1, but do so in other International versions. The end caps make the bar and satellite speakers far more aesthetically when the satellite speakers aren't docked with the bar - for instance when you want to permanently mount the wireless speakers to a wall with the included wall brackets. Without the end caps to cover the connection points, it looks a bit misshaped. Upon contacting customer support, I was told they would be available to purchase back in November as an accessory. That has not happened, and further attempts to reach customer support have since failed.

Very happy with the JBL 9.1 Soundbar. Easy set up once paired to Google Home and download update. Amazing, truly enveloped in a cone of sound. Room calibration is a breeze with the remote control.

I am amazed at the sound quality. The bass can be quite a bit overwhelming but luckily it can be adjusted from 1 to 5. I personally keep my on 3 and even at that level, it can rattle dishes in the kitchen. Bass aside, the Atmos speakers really give you the feeling of being surrounded. The levels can be adjusted with the remote from low, medium, and high. It is definitely not going to give you the same level of Atmos as some other high end systems, but they're also a bit more expensive. There are some bars that have a slightly better Atmos effect, but they do not come with a subwoofer. This system does a great job at making you feel like you're in the action. From movies to gaming, sound quality is incredible with the detachable speakers placed at your side. Music is the only low spot I could find. Though still very good, you'll find that some mid level sounds seem distant. Overall, this is a magnificent system!

I decided to purchase this system over both the Samsung and Bose Sound-bars after extensive research. A uTube review drove home my final decision. It mainly pointed out how the surround speakers detach from the sound bar and are truly/actually wireless (with rechargeable batteries). A huge factor for me in that I already own a Bose 300 Soundbar. And although the quality of sound for the system overall is beyond reproach - the surround sound speakers (purchased separately- as was the woofer) have to be plugged in. It’s more cost effective than the others in that it’s the only quality sound bar system (i.e. within a comparable price range) whereby the Woofer is included in the e package. Perhaps most of all - the system has Dolby Atmos capability! When Best Buy made this one of thier Black Friday Sale items - I pounced on it before they changed their minds. But, again, I highly recommend that you do your own research - assess your personal needs/wants determine if this system meets your needs, wants and budget. It definitely meets all of these factors for me and then some!

Amazing soundbar and subwoofer. Easy to setup. Fantastic sound quality for all around use. 4 starts only because the first one arrived and the subwoofer failed after about 5 mins of use. Returned and exchanged for a new system and everything is working perfect as of now.

This is a really good soundbar for the money. I want to give 4.5 stars with the .5 stars taken off because there is no equalizer and no app. Other than that it has great sound and the bass is outstanding. I really like the wireless/detachable rear speakers too!

Decided on this vs sonos and it was the right one. Sonos may have a slight edge on dialogue, but the jbl is better in all other regards. The bass is fantastic and can be dialed down or up. Music sounds terrific. Just a better value. Adding a sub and rear speakers to Sonos is too pricey.

I bought this for an OLED TV and It works well and is very easy to use. The sound from the sound bar is better than the picture on the TV. Really great for shows like Mandalorian where sound quality is important and the show’s production values and sound effects really let the sound bar shine.

I can't even begin to describe my satisfaction with this soundbar. Is it IMAX theater-level Dolby Atmos? No. But it is absolutely the very closest/next best thing! Recommend some calibration and playing around for personal prefernce when you set it up. Every person is different. The battery-powered satellites are great for a quick family movie night with awesome Dolby surround, and should you prefer, you can power them with a micro-USB adapter as well (I used generic ones, but 2.1 amp to make sure they were provided enough power whil we watch movies/play games... since they explicitly run off battery when not attached to the main bar, you want it "overcharging" to supply power to the satellite faster than it drains if you are doing any binging or marathons.

The sound is awesome. The bass blew me away. It is so conveniant to take them off and pop back on. I will add ...it has disengaged a couple times and powered off. I had heard about this phenomenom. Other than that its great! I highly reccommend it.

Amazing product for the price! Use it for music around the house and movie dates with the fiancée. It truly gives a great surround sound feel! Also, the subwoofer really hits hard! I would definitely recommend this product.

After looking at this surround sound for over a year and seeing the price go up, we found it on sale and bought it. Our old system wouldn’t work with the newer model TV so we needed a replacement. This is much more compact in size and humongous in sound. This was an excellent choice. Sound bar is just under the TV and the subwoofer below that. The two rear speakers are blue tooth and rechargeable so they can be placed anywhere. However you can buy power cables for them so you can plug them in roan electrical outlet which we will do. This JBL sound system is excellent and perfect for our needs.
