This is a really awesome system, does not give you controller over much of the sound other than base, height of speakers loudness of the detachable speakers. However the sound it does produce is just fine unless you’re an audiophile which I am not. Love that it looks like a soundbar but when it’s movie night you detach the speakers and place them beside/behind you and no wires anywhere! Truly wireless. Allows for a very clean set up.

All I can say is WOW! It sounds GREAT with plenty of bass! It will rattle your water cup that's for sure.And the ease of getting it up and running.....any one can do it! The Dolby Atmos with the detachable satellite rear speakers literally puts you in the mix! Action movies are the best with this system with sound coming from every corner!

We selected this JBL Soundbar because we wanted it to "fill" our large room with high ceilings with quality sound. It is everything we hoped for and more. We use the 2 detachable speakers more than we thought we would. I know it is a lot of money, but you get a great sound with a lot of flexibility with the 2 detachable speakers. This system kept us from having to buy additional speakers.

I'm in love with this soundbar for movies. The wireless speaker are awesome with ATMOS, even though I'm not getting the 10 hours JBL says it should last. It usually lasts 7-8 hours. The subwoofer is awesome, the 10" makes a huge difference comparting the 6.5 inch Sony I had for my other soundbar. If you are looking to use this soundbar to listen to music, it is not that great, but for movies and Dolby or DTS content, it is awesome.

I will keep this short and to the point. This surround soundbar system is top notch for the money. I originally had the Samsung Q850 5.1 channel soundbar, which was the same price and that system cannot even come remotely close to this one. If your a fan of bass, this soundbar and subwoofer are for you! I love the feature of being able to detach the two speakers from the soundbar. I highly recommend this system. I’m 100% satisfied in every aspect!

The best sound bar I’ve had. I like it better Sonos or Bose real cinematic. Like the theater. Booming base also.

Packs a punch, and sounds pretty clear when loud. The bass from the sub is definitely thiccccc.

The sound is amazing! The true wireless remote back speakers are a game changer! Too bad the sub gets disconnected all the time, sound doesn’t consistently work and I have to unplug the bar for 30-45 seconds to get it to work again. Pretty disappointed overall especially considering the price

I’m not a audiophile but the sound from both movies and Spotify sound clear and balanced with very solid bass. The Atmos effects are great and fills the room with immersive sound. The only issue I’ve had with the unit was the included HDMI cable which was causing poor communication with my tv but once that was replaced I’ve had no issues at all. The detachable speakers work great and for me the design along with JBL sound is what sold it.

Great setup the bass and clear vocals make this a very easy choice.

Overall, the JBL 9.1 soundbar system was a great addition to my living room TV. The large subwoofer was very punchy and the wireless speakers were effective. As for Atmos, I can notice a difference when watching Atmos content, but I cannot compare it with non-soundbar systems since I have not had the chance to try one of those out outside of a movie theater. It is effective for my average-sized living room (around 300 square feet with a ~10 foot ceiling).

I have had the pleasure of owning JBL speakers all my life (78 years) and was completely amazed at the sound and versatility of my new sound bar. Being able to stream all my favorite FM stations from the whole world in beautiful HD is worth the cost of this unit. I have retired my AV Receiver and my JBL Lancer 66 spkrs to the garage system. Thank you Best Buy for a great value product. I'm recommending this unit to all my friends.
