jbl subwoofer is NOT the powerful, bose 700 is more clear sound and flexible on the settings . i did return

By far the best set, hands down. The detachable speakers add a whole dimension when watching from home.

This JBL soundbar is very good. Not great. The detachable rear speakers make it easy to recharge them.

I purchased this soundbar with high expectations because I have other jbl devices and love them; however this one was a little disappointing. It lacks a tone setting feature which is important for me. I have a less expensive samsung sound bar that has much better sound quality. I’m sorry JBL but this time I felt disappointed

what attracted me to this sound bar was its wireless system I don't like wires so this soundbar was good for my living room

Problem with sound. Static causing reduced sound.

This sound bar is just what we needed, we tried two other sound bars and they would not work well with our tv.

Like it but, out of sync with optical cable. Have to switch between streaming device and game device.

Most soundbar capabilities are limited to the area of a room and the quality of the TV it is enhancing. Depending on your needs (and wallet), this can leave a lot to be desired. JBL's BAR system delivers in both the quality of sound output as well as the versatility to adapt to changing needs and different environments. Out of the box, the equipment is sleek and no-frills. The subwoofer is a beast and takes up a lot of floor real estate, but that is the price for the amazing sound quality. The remote is simple to use, though upon connection to your television using the HDMI (ARC) input, you should be able to use your television remote to level your volume. The JBL BAR can be connected with your smart phones and tablets, and I had no issues streaming music from different areas of the house. In terms of sound, I was completely blown away by the JBL BAR soundbar. I'm almost afraid to move the levels up above 25%, as even approaching this volume, my movie and television-watching experience is unprecedentedly loud and clear. The soundbar offers Dolby Atmos technology, so fire up a movie and be ready to feel immersed in the experience. What sets this soundbar apart is the detachable speaker capabilities. The left and right speakers can be removed from the main device and positioned as rear speakers behind you for a more immersive experience. Alternatively, you can simply move one of the small speakers to an entirely separate area to have access to the crystal clear sound. The way my living room is positioned, we usually turn the wall-mounted flat screen TV towards the kitchen area and place a speaker on the counter if we want to watch during meals. The speakers can last for several hours without being connected to the main component and are rechargeable when docked, so battery life is generally a non-issue. I did experience some slight static from the small speakers when the components were not in line-of-sight with the main component, but otherwise I had no issues with connectivity. The JBL BAR offers versatility and robust sound quality. I choose soundbars over larger sound systems because I value the space afforded by these devices. The JBL BAR 9.1-Channel Soundbar System does not compromise sound, but it offers much more flexibility in its design to receive my recommendation. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

The sound was great but had to exchange after one week due to vibrating sounds

We bought this soundbar to replace an existing Bose soundbar. The JBL has much stronger low end, but using it in the room we have found the JBL to sound muffled at times, lacking in clarity and treble in some instances. And there is no adjustment for this that we can find. In some instances it sounds amazing. Other times, meh.

IS GOOD ITEM, THOUGH IT HAS SOME PHYSICAL DAMAGE BUT THE PERFOMANCE IS OUTSTANDING

Great sound works perfectly with any TV for a good experience

This unit has died twice before and now it’s completely dead. After only two years this was a very expensive item that is difficult to reset and reinstall (WiFi is required). Very disappointed

We love our Vizio tv & our JBL sound bar. The Geek Squad do a great install.

I expected better for the cost of this $1080 bucks, that's a lot of cash I paid. Sounds great but it pops loud noises and statics then the sound gose away , I use the HDMI arch which is the best on a 65 in lg 0led cost 4 grand. I need to take it back so the can fix it or give me a replacement.

I had issues with two different units. I wanted to like it and the price for the features seemed great, but I had nothing but problems. My first unit would not calibrate and I tried everything to include using JBL's technical customer service team. They told me to exchange it which I did and the second unit's remote control did not work. Finally, I decided the quality control was not where it should be for $1,000 so I exchanged it for a Sony. It seems like a lot of people like this soundbar but that was not my experience.
