The sounds is amazing! Easy set up and install while offering a flexible placement of speakers to add to the surround sound experience.

One of the best bang for your buck speaker I've seen in the market. But it does come with some flaws. Pros: - Great sound for music and most movies - Portability and aesthetics - Room correction Cons: - Voices sound muffled in some movies. Makes it very hard to understand dialogue - Rear speakers dont always turn on and connect when I turn on soundbar - Wish there was more customization in remote and soundbar

It’s an average item. Seen better home theaters with better quality for the same price. Also came with no controller which is another 100 bucks I’m going to have to waste. And when I called to say I wasn’t informed that it came with no controller, they said if you want you can return it to any BestBuy store because of the price I paid. Anyways didn’t like the service.

Love this product, sound is awesome on music, is pretty good on movies, it can impress you on the quality that it has on the punch of the sub. Only downside is the connection to the internet needs to be on a non native app but it works well also that if you watch Apple TV with this one you may have some occasional loss of sound and need to be "reboot" in order to get sound again but i really enjoy the quality specially with the wireless surround speakers that not need to be plug in so I can recommend it

An excellent sound system. I originally had planned for it in our media room; however unfortunately it isn't compatible with our Soundshaker seating (needed a receiver sound system). I was possibly going to return this just because I didnt want to buy another system and spend so much, but we couldnt part with it because it is so cool (detachable speakers and wireless) AND it sounds so awesome. Glad we kept it - Its now made a home in a man cave, so its still a win!

Returned my JBL 9.1. Great concept, but there are simply too many features missing at this price point. Lacks basic EQ adjustments, terrible remote with street fighter combos required to change settings/modes, calibration issues after updating to the latest firmware, rear speakers make a hiss noise when the volume was off/muted, and the soundbar constantly cut out for no reason. Even after multiple factory resets, the bar still had those issues. Buying a product like this, especially at this price point, shouldn’t be a lottery to get a “good one.” Many others have encountered the above issues too. It just feels like JBL rushed the product and we’re all the beta testers. Returned and will re-evaluate when v2 comes out. Positives: the bass is incredible, modern/streamlined look Cons: dialogue is mediocre, no app to make EQ adjustments, poor remote design

The JBL 9.1 Soundbar kicks. Plug-N-Play, easy to install and sync. The sound is amazing, and its super loud.

Debated between this and Sonos sound bar. So happy with this purchase. Awesome sound! Easy to set up.

Incredible sound from a bar type audio system. Easy setup and with Bluetooth and wireless sub and rear surround sound speakers.

Sounds great, easy setup, and love the detachable surround sound speakers. Atmos fills the room even with a 15 foot ceiling.

Nice sound for older couple just looking for nice surround sound. Easy to set up rear speakers where and whenever we want that extra effect. Had a little trouble setting up because our TV is old style. Had to talk to JBL help to learn I needed to get a digital audio cord. Could not use the HDMI cord that came with the system. I appreciated the extra JBL help when finally got connected with the right person. Frustrating when tried to go through Geek Squad the first five phone calls.
