Sound is amazing and the best part is the bass. Worth every penny

Really like my purchase of the JBL soundbar and wireless subwoofer. Geeksquad installed it along with my new TV. Sound is great! I really like you can easily remove the two smaller speakers and use wirelessly as rear speakers which brings it nice and close to your ear.

This product is amazing for movies. For music it is lacking. I wish the speakers didn’t have to be charged. You need to connect them to the sound bar to charge. You can connect the satellite speakers with a micro usb to usb cord to a power adapter instead. It’s a personal choice. You don’t have the option to change bass, etc.

Love the sound of this JBL and ease of use with our TV.

Got this for my husband... he absolutely loves it! I don’t like being jolted awake by the sound of an action movie at 6am on a Saturday, but I’m glad the sub works so well! It’s worth the money and we like that the speakers are detachable so you can put them wherever you want. We can take them out on the patio, into another room and still listen to music.

Great product for the money. I am very happy with it-the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the rear speakers will cut out every once in a while. They are quick to re-connect but a little annoying. But it is perfect for the space of the room that I have.

Good sound from the bar, but the rear speakers are too quiet. Very quiet effects and even music is really low. The wireless rears may be a good concept but I don’t think it’s suitable for home theater. Overall a good system, just be aware of the rear speakers.

Came from the 3.1, 5.1 and now own the 9.1. Jbl keeps pushing away. The bass and voice even out beautifully. The dolby atmos is amazing. I had the sonos sub and sonos playbar. I couldn't get the sonos arc because or availability but this jbl system sounds on par with it. I will admit the sonos sub sounds better and clearer but for 500 dollars less. It is recommended.

Overall, the system sounded pretty darn good. The biggest issue was that it would suddenly cut out completely… very annoying! However, BB took it back without question and I purchased the SONOS surround system. Now that’s an awesome system!!!

There are only five things I would change with this so close yet so far audiophile setup. The first two are simple fixes but not full deal breakers, voice boost and more/custom EQ settings would be great additions. The other three are deal breakers to me. Two have to do with the rear speakers and one with the Atmos. 1) I was watching a Blu-ray of Harry Potter and the software tried to put the full sound of the movie through every speaker including the 4 Atmos speakers. This made random sounds misplaced that should only come from the front, left, right, or rear, but now came from all around even overhead. 2) When watching an Atmos or DTS-X, one of the rear speakers was majority of the time louder than the other refardless of battery charge. This would alternate between the left and right, as to why I do not know. 3) Last the batteries do not last 10 hours all the time. This varied from 1 to 10 hours even after charging all night. At times I would have to plug in the rear speakers just to finish a movie and be left with the display still stating to charge or plug in rear speakers. It was annoying that the display could not be turned off as it is distracting. Other times I would make it through one, two, or even three 2.5 to 3 hour movies before needing to charge. Overall) On the off chance that the rear speakers worked evenly on a full charge with a 4k UHD Atmos source, it would sound flawless. I had three superbly excellent experiences with Atmos; Aquaman 4k UHD disc, Ready Player One 4k UHD disc, and Altered Carbon through Netflix. If the height speakers would shut off when no Atmos or DTS-X was present, the battery life was consistent (or perhaps ditch the rechargeable and just make them wall plug in like the Samsung rear speakers on the Q90R/T), and equal sounding, without the left or right being louder throughout an entire movie would make this setup a masterpiece and one that could easily sell for $1,500 to $2,000. I sure hope the 2021 model improves upon these issues. If so I will be back to buy the next year's model!

This is a great sound system. Took a while to get since they sell out quickly in stores but it was worth the wait! It is so much better than anything we have had before! True surround sound. I love the wireless rear speakers that charge on the main sound bar. Super easy install. A little pricey but definitely worth it for great sound.

Was looking at this for almost a year and finally decided to invest before football season. So glad I did as I just watched my preseason game and the sound is amazing! I normally don’t watch a whole lot of movies as I am a music person but watched a move yesterday and this rocked me out of the room! I love my new system for sure!

Hands down the best sound bar. First purchased a $1800 lg sound bar but was disappointed. This jbl is a true wireless rear speak with i think higher quality sound then more expensive models. Finally a product at a decent price ($1000) that will out preform any sound bar and even conventional surround sound system. Well worth the purchase.
