This JB sound box is wonderful. It is loud fit in small areas. I’m glad I purchased this item for my daughter.

I liked the bass response of the speaker, and it works with Alexa and Google assistants. However, the strong bass seems to overpower the treble response. It doesn't have the crisp sound of a Sonos Era 100, that I have. Even adjusting the bass and treble in the JBL app didn't seem to help. I also used the aux input (which is a plus for JBL, since an extra adapter needs to be purchased to have an aux input on the Sonos). However, using it with a synth keyboard, I noticed a half second delay (perhaps due to DSP processing). This is not acceptable when playing live music. I returned the Authentics 200, but if you like bass and are only streaming music, it may work for you.

Finally a smart home speaker with network connectivity- this speaker sounds amazing in my dining room. I purchased it to play some background music for dinner- let me tell you this little guy throws a punch for its size.

Keeping it short, this is a superb premium speaker from JBL. The retro styling is equally met with modern design and functionality in a perfect combination. Even if retro isn’t what you’re after specifically, this speaker looks fantastic on a shelf or within a modern home setting. We are impressed and recommend it.

Second purchase after much success with the first. An added speaker seamlessly works together with the original and creates a nice stereo effect.

Nice classic look, feels super solid and high quality. Alexa integration is great. Sound quality and bass are very good for the size. Little expensive for what you get, wish it had Atmos at this price point.

This speaker has very good base given its size. It also has more then enough volume. I cant turn it to full volume inside the house without it being too loud.

This is probably the best "smart" speaker I've ever owned. Combining both iOS and Android features, that can be used at the same time makes it so useful. AirDrop and ChromeCast being built in make everything so easy. Not to mention the incredible sound.

Such an amazing speaker! I’m even excited to use this for party’s. It’s the smallest one but it definitely packs a punch! Even for home theatre it sounds great! You can download an app to fine tune the sound quality as much as it can let you

Sleek looking, big sound from a compact sound system! Retro vibes get everyone’s attention. Looks great in our living room too. This was a gift for my husband and he loves it!

JBL makes very perfect use of DSP. Computers can account for a lot. The speaker really does auto-tune, so power up where you would listen to it and try to keep things quiet at that moment. The app is useful. .. BTW the speaker was four stars but an app update really added features and somehow better sound. .. Really thrilled.

Great sound for a tabletop speaker. It doesn't look quite as sharp as a Klipsch, but the bass is something else. It'd be nice if it had more app integration, but maybe that will come.

Nice clean sound elegant classic look easy to pair

I love my JBL Authentics 200! First, the retro style resembles my past speakers. I looked at Sonos portable speakers, but the JBL had a richer sound. Despite the 200 is the entry level speaker in the Authentics line, it fills my small man cave with beautiful music. I also appreciate having a port to connect my CD player in addition to Bluetooth connectivity for my digital library.

Works great and sounds great. It's working now with my Google and Alexa assistants at the same time. If I say Hey Google or Alexa and this box answers and does what it is supposed to. Also connected via Bluetooth to my PC. Superior sound by far compared to Google and Alexa brand speakers.

Great speaker. The retro look goes well with my decor. It has a rich sound and the app makes it very easy to use and enjoy.

Great bass a lot of noise out of a small box. Not portable so use as intended.
