Bought it for tv. Sound is good and setup is extremely easy

So far so good. Ive had it for a while now and it is amazing. Havent set the speakers up yet but i tested them with the base at 4 while watching Top Gun Maverick and yes they do live up to the hype. You can hear every gear shift, every breath. Not only is the movie amazing but the soundbar is crisp. I will say you may find yourself messing with the woofer once and a while thiking you cant really hear dialog but just look at it as adjusting to your liking. Again i havent detached the speakers or even tried to calibrate them yet but as of right now they work great. Im simply waiting to put some L brackets up to mount them behind me. I never saw myself spending more then a few hundred for sound but i decided to take a chance and pay the $799. Its a big bar but sitting under a 82' tv, it doesnt seem like it but all in all. Well worth it..

The subwoofer works great , the overall sound of the system is really nice . If i had to give a negative remark about this system it would be that the satellite speakers don't hold a charge for very long and that the bose home theater system isn't that much more money. The bluetooth is extremely easy to connect to on the positive side. Overall not the best I've had but not too bad either.

Amazing bass and great sound that delivers all of your audio needs

This is an outstanding soundbar! I was upgrading from the JBL Bar 5.1 Surround, which sounds very good, but isn't nearly as good as the JBL Bar 1000. The detachable speakers are a game changer if you don't have room for dedicated rear speakers, and the Dolby Atmos is really fantastic. I purchased both my JBL soundbars as Open Box deals from Best Buy when they were on sale (Open Box prices drop when the item goes on sale), and they both arrived in brand-new condition. I highly suggest taking this route if you want to save some money on your purchase.

The sound bar far exceeded anything I could've hoped for in an all-in-one sound bar system. I was blown away by the Atmos and ease of use. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a new surround system.

This was a perfect addition for Sunday Football watching. I am not sure if I have larger than realist expectations, but the rear wireless speaker batteries could last longer. The nice thing is that an overnight attached to the front sound bar and they are all charged up. The sub has a good bump that you can independently adjust.

Great sound bar and sub is definitely worth the upgrade. The removable speakers have a pretty decent battery life as well. One of the more/most expensive bars I saw there, and I’m happy with the purchase.

The JBL 1000 Sound Bar provides better than average Performance compared to the Sonos, Sony, Samsung, and Bose Systems in its price category. The Sound Clarity is better at the Low Bass, MidRange and High Frequencies including at High Volume Levels. It also has a great feature the others don’t with the Detachable Magnetic Surround Soeakers that connect to each side of the Main Sound Bar Body. The only area that I felt the System was lacking was in the amount of Low end Bass it Offers at the Top 25 Percent of the Volume Range when you consider the Total 880 Watts of System Power it offers

I really liked the rechargeable battery powered surround speakers and the compact, and sleek convenience of the design, but the sound was just not where I expected it to be for the price point. The subwoofer had lots of bass but only has 1-5 volume settings where it was either not enough or too much, where it bled into the dialog making it difficult to hear in movies. Also, doesn't have the option to listen from all channels with music or basic stereo content which aleays eludes me why have all the extra channels if you can't use them. Instill give it 4 out of 5 for the sleek compact cord free design that all soundbars shouldnstrive to accomplish. Just not the right fit for our needs.

The sound quality and easy set-up make this purchase well worth it. The wire-less speakers and subwoofer enable you to place them virtually anywhere in the house. Very happy with this purchase.

Immersed in sound. Deep base is awesome. It's like being in a real cinema. Love it!

Easy to set up. Very good bass. Wireless detachable rear speakers are a big plus. Would be nice to have more music streaming apps built in (ex. Spotify & Pandora). Equalizer is pretty basic.

Great sound even at high volume, no distortion. Handles loud music, low volume movies and the bass shakes my house.

The bass vibrates your soul, heavenly! The detachable speakers are so cool and bring out all of the surround sound!

We have been eyeing this surround sounds for about a year now just waiting for the right time to buy and it works AMAZING. Easy to set up and sounds great and loud just like we hoped.
