Good: stereo content sounds really good from a small form factor. Bad: multichannel audio sounds too quiet compared to stereo -- so when you get stereo ads mixed it with multichannel shows it blasts you away. So I’m kinda leaning towards making it only stereo to avoid this problem which kind of defeats the purpose of 5 channels on the soundbar. Also, certain features auto enable themselves after each startup (by design according to the manual) - so if you dont prefer their auto sound or auto voice features you have to disable it every time you turn it on — who does that? Lots of people mention the audio sounding better with these things disabled. Also, those features require special button press combinations to turn on/off which is kind of annoying. How much money did they save for having two less buttons on the remote? There aren’t even buttons for that on the virtual remote either.

Very nice sound. I was not expecting much bass and punch but this unit knocked my socks off. I had a music recording studio and know a lot about professional sound. This product is an incredibly good deal. Crisp highs and deep bass. In fact, I'm getting ready to watch a Star Trek movie. Yay, me!

I've had the JBL - Bar 300 soundbar for about a month and really like it. It's the first soundbar we've ever had (we're older and old school!). It is much better sound than the TV speaker--richer and fuller. I don't need to turn the sound up as much. My husband, who thought the soundbar was unnecessary, commented that movies sound much better. It was easy to install and get working--I'm decent with technology but certainly not the most experienced person, and I had no troubles. The soundbar works with the TV remote, which is great! I was able to get this as an open-box excellent condition, so I paid significantly less than the regular price. I had been looking at it for several months after doing some research on mid-priced soundbars. I was waiting for a sale and then the open-box became an option.

This is a great sound bar for the price and it’s 5.0 with Dolby Atmos. My only issue is that you cannot add a subwoofer later if you wanted to. If you are wanting to do the same. Then I suggest the 500, I wish I would’ve.

Fantastic soundbar with significant bass without a subwoofer. This soundbar has more power than I expected. The Dolby Atmos is a plus. Awesome speaker with separate surround speakers. Super-easy install with accompanying app.

As a cheaper high end speaker, i am impressed with it. The sound is clear and the surround sound function works better than you think it would. The setup dor the whole thing takes about 2 minutes.

This soundbar is easy to set up and works very well. Sound is solid with no distortion or popping.

The JBL sound Bar is perfect for my room .quality sound.plays good music and the bass was the main thing that I loved it was delivered on time the packaging was good

I am very technologically sound. I have a 9 JBL products, and I LOVE JBL. However. This bar is really disappointing. I have it connected to my 2022 Sony 85" 4k TV via HDMI ARC, and it will turn on the first time, but about 12 min into watching TV, the soundbar shuts off and disconnects. The ONLY way I get it to work is to Unplug BOTH Soundbar & TV and wait 5min. Plug back in, and it works.... for 12 min. This is my 2nd Bar300, (replaced under warranty by JBL) and it's still a problem. I've tried other bars with my TV, works perfect. Sound quality is incredible for the price.... IF it works.

I am blown away by the sound quality and depth of bass in a small all in one sound bar. The dolby atmos surround is awesome for movies and xbox games.

Amazing! Wanted a quality but not expensive soundbar with no sub for outside and this hits on all cylinders. Solid bass with crisp voices, almost as good as my $900 Bose soundbar. Would recommend, when my 26 year old JBLs finally give out will be getting a JBL soundbar for my theater room.

Great sound, easy to connect. Easy to use. Used it for outdoor speaker, sound quality is great.

Easy to set up. Very happy I could connect multiple sources. Even happier that the source changes based on what gets powered up (no need to find a remote to hit more buttons). Good sound but not quite what my old surround sound (multiple speakers) provided. But perfect for what I needed.
