Ive been wanting to get a sound bar for years and was able to get one with the black friday deal. Good thing i got this. Sound bar with bass is a different beast. This is by far my best purchase. Highly recommended. Its like bringing the movie house in your bedroom.

Incredible depth off of sound. Audio changes between formats cause alot of soft and loud moments when watching. Most likely an issue on the platforms we are watching with thier audio codecs.

The bass is insane but the voice or vocals are to low the max volume it’s 31 and depending what im watching i barely hear it show or movies

Very happy with the purchase. Works as advertised. Has 5 levels of bass/woofer that can be adjusted to your taste. Full volume plus bass at level 5 will wake up all your neighbors. Very nice for music and movies. Converts your living room into a movie theater.

I love the JBL Bar 500 sounds amazing on my Sony 4k 50 inch Tv and honestly better than the Sony Soundbar I use to have. Definitely recommend also the remote is easy setup was easy along with the app and calibration. Happy with this amazing product.

So far this is a great soundbar. The subwoofer has good bass.

Bought this on black friday and it works perfect for our home.

JBL was a good company in the 70"s not anymore. the unit will not connect over half the time and will drop off at other times. I half to unplug the unit and restart it to bring it up. Other time it will not response to the remote. I am using the optical input, have not try the HMDi input. It does sound great when working,

Sounds pretty good as it is. Definitely would sound way better with another speaker or so. Definitely does the job.

Like most JBL items, solid sound, still a little basic though, was thinking the 1000 with the extra 2 speakers would be the perfect fit for more of a surround sound atmosphere in my home bar area but the price doubles so will probably stick with this.

I can’t even begin to describe the sound quality. We use it in our basement and the floors shake. Definitely has cinema quality

I have had this soundbar for over 6 months now and I absolutely love it. Worth every penny spent. When people come over they love to watch movies and enjoy the top notch movie sounds. I have not regretted this purchase not one time!

Really great soundbar, I had an old sony 5.1 system and this perfectly emulates the surround sound from all angles. I was using it and turned back because I thought the sound was coming from behind or above. Really great upgrade Dolby Atmos is amazing. This is the future. Bye messy cables.

My hearing is not what it used to be and I was turnng the tv up so loud. This soundbar is awesome. I can hear everything. Highly recommended. It also works with my cable box remote so no multiple remotes.
