Great sound but definitely not better then individual amp and speakers.

This is the best decision of my life lot more bass than I expected yes it wouldn’t rattle your car but good point is it’s under seat inside your cabin so you don’t have to raise volume to feel the bass no more trouble buying separate amp I have have focal 6.5 components powered with alpine kttp455u and adding this sub took my system to next level !

This is exactly what my Jeep Wrangler needed. It fills in all the missing bass and fits under the seat. Just great.

Got this amp sub combo to add a little bass to go along my OEM car sound speakers. I wanted something simple to install and something that would not take up space. So far so good it brought the sound in my car back to life. Great buy.

The subwoofer sounded great, but could not be installed under my son's from seat due to spacing. Being installed in the truck was not an option as the sound would not have been the same. Best buy was great with the return. If you are ok with the subwoofer being on the floor in the back seat, this is a GREAT sounding speaker

I want to preserve my hearing when I'm older, but I also want to enjoy deep bass when listening to Hootie & The Blowfish on the highway. This subwoofer does it all. Hides away nicely in my Jeep Gladiator, nice features to modify the amount of bass/tone. Highly recommend.

Man this sub woofs! Most might be dismissed by the woofer being 8", don't let it fool you. It puts out so much power and clarity in the low end. I love it, so worth it without sacrificing space in your car

Sounds good with out amp needed. Like thst it fit under the front seat.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son. Wanted to some affordable bass and didn’t want to take up any room in the storage areas of his Jeep. The underwear mount was ideal and the quality of sound is phenomenal.

After running my power wire, ground wire, and remote wire, this subwoofer did not turn on. The led power indicator flickered a couple times, but that’s it. I realize a bad unit can happen occasionally. JBL has authorized a replacement and I’m waiting for my warranty replacement. I’m looking forward to hearing what this sub can do…after I receive a working unit. I appreciate JBL honoring their warrantee, although I’m waiting on the replacement.

Great product to add bass to your stock or aftermarket stereo system. It fits perfectly under the front seat in my mini-truck and adds the bass I so desperately needed. You will need an amp installation kit and you're ready to go!

This does exactly what I hoped. It adds just enough bass to fill out the sound. It will not rattle your windows but it adds a great tone/bass. I recommend

I did not have very high expectations based on the power rating, but I'm pleasantly surprise by the fullness and punch it adds to my tunes.
