For the price and size the speaker is very loud even in outdoor environments. It doesn’t even loose sound quality at max volume. In underwater occurrences it upholds its claims. The battery life is also very good. It can last well of over 8 hours. I definitely recommend this product

I love it. Great upgrade from the Charge 4, the new tweeter sounds great with the improved bass. The battery life is fantastic. If you’re having issues with it, make sure you update the software by downloading the JBL app, and updating it on the speaker. I got the red, nice color choice (for me), the metal ‘!’ Marks on the sides are a nice touch.

Best portable speaker. Plenty of power, plenty of bass. Easy to connect and battery life is great. Take it with me in the shower, work, and doing stuff around the house. Perfect for parties and small get together. Listen to all kinds of music, it all sounds great. Also with podcasts. It’s perfect at low volume too when you want to listen to a book or podcast to fall asleep too but don’t want to wake anyone up.

Absolutely love this speaker. Its a bit pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for. Sound does not disappoint whatsoever. Incredibly loud and phenomenal bass for the size. Very waterproof. I frequently use this speaker in my shower where it is very humid and have had zero problems over the years. Also, best sound quality money can buy for this size speaker. I also recommend the Boombox 3.

My brother has a similar speaker and brought it on our family vacation. Loved the portability, easy Bluetooth connectivity and sound! So we decided we needed one for our summer camp to take on golf cart rides! We bought a slightly different speaker but it is a JBL. We love it!

Had previously purchased one of these for my wife to take with her on those pool days. I was very impressed with the sound quality that I purchased a second one (for me) to use in the garage while completing items on my "To-Do-List" This thing is AWESOME. I also tried out the "PartyBoost" feature. It basically converted my family room into a night club. The charging capability of a USB device is also a very nice feature. The battery life on this truly amazing. If you're looking for a portable Bluetooth Speaker this one is a "No Brainer" you will be completely satisfied in its performance, durablity and ease of use.

I've been buying JBL stuff, for over 20 years. So when I wanted a decent portable Bluetooth speaker I had no questions about the which brand. However. I saw this was water "proof," and claims long battery life and even charging abilities. Thise were just bonuses. I've had it for a week now. Use it all thr time. It's bass is better than expected, and the sound quality is very good regardless of vastly different types of music. I expected it might struggle on max volume, with so much bass. But it does fine. Seems to handle wet environment well. Haven't used it's charging feature yet. Excellent product. Great performance. Decent price, for what i think will be something I use often, for many years. Thanks JBL.

I live tbis speaker, very portable and has a great battery life. It has amazing sound and yoi can even charge your phone if needed.

Great sound!! We have a large backyard and the sound carries across the whole yard. Easy to pair with your devices!! Perfect for near the pool. Portability is a plus! Long battery life.

Great speaker! Easy to set up, great sound quality. The bass is produced by two small woofers on both sides. Battery lasted a whole week of travel. Definitely would by again!

Years later and it still holds a long charge and sounds phenomenal. Charges fast with the included type c. Gets super loud and has plenty of bass.

Amazing sound, gets plenty loud to use outside. Not super different from the Jbl Charge 4, (clearer highs are the most noticeable difference) but it was worth it to me for the partyboost feature with the flip 5. Great bass, and the water resistance is nice.
