Love the product. I use it everyday now its part of my daily life. Works well and get as loud as i need when i want.

Doesn’t go as loud as I was hoping (sound seemed pretty much the same as the flip6. Flip6 just doesnt have subwoofers which I’m ok with.) Also using it to charge makes it drain of power very quickly.

Maybe the one I got is defective, but twice now, I have charged it fully and both times I have only been playing music for about 2 hours tops at a moderate level when the battery indicator light starts flashing red. I'm returning it, I've only had it for 3 days.

The sound is good; but I bought two for the connectivity feature; which is unreliable at best. They cut out frequently in the party mode I would recommend these individually; but not as a set for party mode.

Something wrong with the speaker they don’t wanna turn it off. You can turn it off only when the battery is running out.

This is one of the best portable speakers I’ve owned! Everything is well balanced mids highs and lows you can also adjust on the app the base on this thing is decent for a speaker of it’s size it kicks! At maximum volume no distortion which is a major plus for me! The design is solid and can withstand wear and tear to the fullest no skimping there at all! It has all the basic features of a wireless speaker for me it’s the overall quality of the sound! I’m very pleased with the battery life and lives up to the 20 hrs for sure opposed to some of the other portable models. Although the size is twice as large as the flip 6 (which I purchased as well) yet still very portable just not the size I wanted to toss in my pocketbook and go nonetheless i absolutely LOVE the charge 5! I highly recommend it to the fullest

Purchased this as open box from Best Buy. This thing sounds weird and when you turn volume up to like 70% it cuts out . Will be taking it back.

This is one of the best speakers I have ever owned. Water proof always good to have at pool side keeps the party going. Battery lasts for hours and it charges fast. Sound quality doesn’t get affected by battery life.

As to be expected from JBL, the sound quality from this speaker is great, even with heavier base. Sounds do not get distorted and spund clear at all volumes. It does take a bit to charge but it lasts quite a bit depending on one's usage. Being able to charge other items like your phone or tablet on the go is a plus. We owned the previous versions as well and they have lasted years, we just wanted to upgrade. Pairing multiple devices also gives the illusion of surround sound, which is pretty cool. Worth the price!

Got this for a Father’s Day gift, I use it everyday. The very best sound quality, durability, the battery life is long lasting and ease of use is a plus also connectivity is a very easy process. No static sounds. Will be buying many more for gifts in the future. Everyone needs one!
