Better than expected, sounds very good for the size!

I’ve been using JBL speakers for a long time. Our Toyota Highlander Sport even has JBL speakers as standard. They have good durability, long lasting, and amazing sound. After several years of constant use, my JBL Flip finally died and was time to find a new one. We mostly use it in out bathroom so that we can have some music playing. So we needed something that was small, waterproof and with great sounding. I came across the Clip 3 and tried it out. It was exactly what we were looking for. Pros: - Quality of sound: it’s clear and crisp. Everything we had experience with previous JBL speakers sound. I was thoroughly impressed with the sound quality from this little guy. It gets pretty loud, especially in our bathroom area and loft where the sound just resonates around us. - Build: this is amazing. It feels rugged enough that I know it won’t break from wear and tear. - The Clip: this is why we got this because of the clip. In theory we thought we can hang it on the towel rack, but unfortunately the clip was not big enough. But the shower door was a perfect size and it hangs there to this moment. We even put it around the front bar of our bike and it’s a great addition to when we go out. Of course it will slide from side to side, but I know it’s not going anywhere. - Battery Life: it’s supposed to give you 10 hours. We have had it for nearly a month now and on average use it for about 20 minutes at a time. We just charged it last night for the first time, when we purchased it a month ago I immediately paired it with my phone and didn’t even fully charge it. So we are really impressed at the longevity of the battery. Cons: - So far none. Overall, we are really happy with this purchase and am confident that JBL will always provide amazing quality matched with sound.

Pairs easily, awesome battery life and extremely portable. Sounds better than many bigger speakers but will never thump with bass due to size. That said - it’s still extremely satisfying to listen to in a variety of environments and gets surprisingly loud. The built on clip and physical volume and play/pause buttons come in handy. I wear this thing on my belt loop working in warehouse everyday and it’s really helps they day pass. Only minor disappointment is that it can’t be paired with other jbl speakers due to software limitations but since it’s primary use is on the go that is not a huge deal to me. No issues and am extremely happy with the purchase.

I travel a lot for West Coast Swing dance events and was looking for something very compact and portable to carry around. I found JBL Clip 3 and never regretted. JBL Clip 3 is easy to carry, waterproof, modern design and loud enough to teach and practice in a small space. It pairs easily with my iPhone XS One downfall is the Bass could be better, otherwise it’s a solid speaker. Highly recommend!

Awesome sound quality! Waterproof, easy to clip on to bag, belt, or other gear. Would definitely recommend if wanting something small, durable, and loud! I work in a warehouse and clip this on my belt and it’s loud in warehouse and not aloud to wear headphones due to safety reasons. This speaker is perfect for me when I am loading trucks and still wanting to jam out. I can hear what’s going on around me and have my music too!

I’ve had this speaker for two years and can say that I really do enjoy it! It’s very convenient when I’m training a client during a workout, using it at my job site, or when I hangout with friends and we want music. The small hook on top of the speaker is very durable and has not given me any problems. The bottom of the speaker has a rubber pad that makes it not slip around too much from the bass and the quality of sound is beyond what I expected! One thing others should consider before buying, it’s a small speaker so it gets loud but not as loud as other speakers. That being said, still loud but just keep in mind it’s a small speaker but I would recommend getting!

Very handy speaker for general use in a small area or out and about. I got this mainly for work because when working I like to play music or I'll even leave my large tablet playing tv shows on the side and keep this speaker in front of me to hear easily. Connected to a tablet while watching something you just push the play button to pause and then again to start playing again. Nice for me if someone comes in the office, I can pause and then start again. I've also used this when riding my bike since the clip is very sturdy, so I attach it to my bike handle wires or the middle handle area and great for sound so I don't have to wear my headphones while riding. Great if you walk and want to attach to the side of your pants also so you don't have to wear headphones. Overall, I think this is very handy if you want a speaker for small areas or small use. I would go up a notch or size for regular in home uses for louder music, though this small thing does stay very loud itself. One other thing, I also connected it to my tv so when staying up late like I do, I have the speaker right next to my side or on my chest so TV doesn't have to be loud and bother others, sound is right in front of me.

This is the best speaker at its size and offers so much listening flexibility. It's quick to charge and hold a charge for a long time. It connects via bluetooth very easily and the sound....the sound is fantastic for the size. You get clear highs and vocals and solid lows. I think this speaker has more impressive sound versus JBL's larger and more expensive tube shaped small speakers. The clip is also great. I hook it to my backpack when I go for bike rides and to the baby stroller when traversing the neighborhood. This speaker isn't intended to fill a room for TV viewing or for parties, but it will work well on a camping trip or on a hike. Look to purchase it during Black Friday or when Best Buy offers it on a daily sale.

Trash. Less than a month of use. The speaker fell once then broke in half. Never been the same.

I love the size and feel of this handy dandy speaker. The sound is loud and clear. I do with it had a little bit more bass but I am happy with it. The battery life is decent and charging it seems to only take a few hours. I don't play it at 100% volume so battery lasts a decent amount of time. I like the sounds it makes when you turn it on and off also how easilly it connects with my cell phone.

This speaker broke within an hour of clipping it to my backpack. I went for a walk and came back and the front cover had fallen off, exposing the speaker. Best Buy refused to replace it and so did JBL, even though both admitted it was faulty. Extremely disappointed in both Best Buy and JBL.
