    Let me start by saying, these aren't Bose, and not even Beats - BUT they are definitely competitive, especially for the price. I bought them to pair with my new MacBook for traveling purposes. Reasoning behind my purchase was the price point and quality of the headphones themselves. They're not built like the Bose, much more plastic feeling than anything, but sturdy. The ear cups are nice and cushioning and sit nicely on your ears without putting too much pressure on them. The only issues I've had so far is that they are a bit quiet for me, they could definitely go up a few more decibels. The other issue is that they've cut out at times with the noise-cancelling system. This is incredible irritable from the get go, but even worse if you're actually traveling at the time. Overall I'll give them a 3/5.

    Good sound, bad build quality

    I recently bought these headphones because I saw many good reviews on them, but they all failed to mention the build quality. After about 4 months of use, one of the pins holding one of the ear cups to the headband fell off, making the headphones unusable. They are made mostly out of plastic and they feel cheap. The sound is very good. It has rich bass and doesn’t sound too muddy. Hopefully JBL makes their headphones more stronger with the next model.

    An about average over-the-ear headphone

    This headset is just about average. The "noise cancelling" feature is adequate. The headband is comfortably flexible; perhaps too flexible as it is prone to slide during vigorous exercise. The headphone's primary shortcoming is its bulkiness. In an age of slim microprocessor electronics, the headset has the feel and touch of a bygone era of tube-based transistors. Like those products, however, the controls are sturdy and reliable. The unit is properly priced for the functionality that it delivers. Aesthetics is not its strength.

    Good for the money

    The sound is great on this product, but the way it fits over my ears is awkward. There is a gap in the headphone, right where your ears attach to your neck, so if you move your head at all that little space lets in noise & the noise cancelling is useless. For me, it was worth it for the $100 (they were on sale), but if they had been the original $200 I would have gone ahead & returned them & got beats.

    JBL is great for speakers but have a little work to do with headphones, sound quality is above average cant complain noise cancelling is pretty good but it does feel like your in a pressurized cabin sometimes, out of the box there very tight on the head very uncomfortable, definitely recommend trying to stretch them out but not too much. also works good with consoles( Xbox One)

    Good Sound, No Volume Adjustment

    The sound quality on the JBLs is quite good, so I can't fault that. The problem I found is that there was no volume adjustment. And the instructions - if you want to call them instructions - that comes with these headphones is almost useless. So sound-wise they are very good and the noise cancellation is decent, but the user-friendliness is not good enough for me.

    I purchased these because they seem very durable and for the ANC. The NC for these headphones are decent. I thought they would make a tremendous difference, but not much more than my wireless in-ear set. They both sound the same. I would recommend these only for comfort when you don't want ear buds shoved in your ear.

    Sounds great, one problem

    The audio was really nice, but personally, I could sort of feel when the noise canceling was on in some sort of way. It felt like my ears were popped. Once the song comes on it’s fine, but don’t use them without some sort of audio!

    These JBL headphones are on the lower end of the price range, but the sound quality is good. The ear ‘muffs’ are a bit small, and therefore fit a bit snug. These are easy to pair and use.

    These headphones are fairly comfortable and do give a pretty quiet, distraction-free way to listen to whatever you tend to listen to. I recommend them, although they're not like a premium version of headphones. 7/10.
