No noise cancelation, sound quality is good but not 90$ good. For excersise it gets the job done, be aware the case for it is pretty big. I would not recommend them for regular use earbuds, these are made for the specific purpose of excersise. Its a shame that jbl doesn't use better audio drivers in this like their more premium earbuds. For workout earbuds with a hook that costs less than 100$, (if you can get them for 60$ or less) these are the best you can get.
