The controls are very touchy. Once you understand where to grab the earpiece to adjust its position and not hit the controls, then these work great...sound quality is excellent but would like to have just a little higher volume.

For the last 6 years I've used beats and the powerbeats pro. Unfortunately, my last pair were destroyed and I needed something quick and not too pricey since I had an event coming up. I saw these jbl wireless earbuds on sale for half the price and thought "why not?" . There is very little difference in sound quality between these and the powerbeats pro and there is a gigantic price difference between the two. I prefer these because of their bass boost and price. The reasons I am not giving it 5 stars is because the battery life caps at just under 6 hours, and touch control can be difficult.

My review of the JBL Endurance Peak II Headphones

So far, so good as far as both durability and sound quality. Of course, it took some time for me to get the hang of the headphone controls itself. Great for working out as they fit pretty well on my ears. After I finish my workout for the day with these JBL Headphones, I get some cotton swabs and dip them in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the headphone's charging terminals and speakers as well as the inside of the charging case and its charging terminals. I also use pre-moistened electronic wipes to thoroughly clean both of those items mentioned as well. So I pretty much do preventive maintenance on them after finishing my workout for the day in order to keep these JBL Headphones in peak condition.

Good sound quality and very easy to use straight out of the box. Seem to hold their charge well but I have only been using them for about a week. They fit comfortably in my ear and sync pretty easily. I wish they had a few more controls on the actual headphones but are fairly easy to use.

I needed some ear buds that didn't fall out while running so I decided to give these a try. They are very comfortable and the sound is decent. My only complaint is that while running they tend to cut out as if there's some interference preventing them from staying connected to my device. It's not a constant occurrence but usually happens a couple of times per run. Other than that they are pretty solid.

Have had trouble finding comfortable and user frienly ear plugs. Even purchased numerous brands, including Beats. I finally went to Best Buy because i have always benefitted from their excellent and competent customer support. The sales person asked numerous questions to gauge my needs, even asking what brands i have been happy with and my intended use for the buds. He recommended JBL product. After a year of searching and unsuccesful purchases, i am finally happy with this product's utility, auto-pairing function and battery life. I am grateful to the Best Buy sales staff's excellent knowledgeable advice.

    JBL wrap around ear headphones

I read another review where the reviewer stated they go through earphones…so do I. I work outside and appreciate a good sounding earphone. These didn’t do it for me. The sound quality sounded extremely cheap, like something I’d purchase from a gas station. I bought them today and will return tomorrow. I have previously used the sound cancelling Bose buds which sound amazing, but sometimes the sound canceling is so extreme that it causes me to feel light headed. I had the beats that wrap around the ear—I liked those but chose to try the Bose after I had worn them to the wire. The Bose and Beats have been by far a better quality. I wanted something that would offer a bit of support from the wrap around ear & wouldn’t slide out of my ear. The Bose would slide out if I were sweating. These JBL seem to comfortably hug the ear but the sound quality is very poor. I’m buying a newer pair of the beats tomorrow. I wish these had worked especially since they were on sale and very inexpensive. I can’t comment on the battery life since I haven’t given them a chance to need charging. The case and earphones came already charged. Also I read after the fact that these work a better with anything other than apple devices. All my stuff is Apple.

    Rock for cycling

First, let it be known over the past year i have been trying to find earbuds durable for cycling in all weather and that do mot cause additional wind noise at speeds above 14mph. I have gone thru Airpods, airpods pro, beats pro. Jaybird Vista, Vista 2 and Bose Soundsport. The airpods fall out during cycling, Beats Pro have horribly intense wind noise, Vista is pretty good but right earbud volume problematic, Vista2 bad wind noise among other poor quality issues and Bose also pathetic for creating a wind tunnel in the ear. The JBL endurance hit the sweet spot for handling water, sweat, stay in place and do not create a wind tinnel in the ear so no additional wind noise. Because the ear wrap is thick snuggly inserting sunglasses can bea little tricky but very doable. Thee sound quality is good, they are comftable wearing for a few hours and so far both earbuds easily charge in the case which cannot be said of the Beats Pro. For sports JBLs rock!!

The pause/play controls are way too touchy, but they're fairly comfortable, and don't fall out every five minutes like the Vibe 100's did. Overall, I like them. Great sound !

This ear buds are really good. I think personally there better then apple ear buds because they don’t just fall off your ear when working at but when talking on the phone with someone, not so great but over all the sound quality is great and comfortability feels great

For nearly the same price as airpods or samsung buds, these are horrible! No complaints about the sound quality, and they fit nice and light on the ears. However, the sound that it makes when it turns on and turns off is annoying and long. The worst part is that it turns on and off at least 10 times before they are on your ears, so you hear the annoying jingle play for a solid minute powering on and off until you finally get them on your ears. ALSO by all means do not unpair them from your device, it takes all of 30 minutes to get them to finally turn back on and into pairing mode (with a full charge). They could have saved this horrible product if they just went with normal buttons instead of the overly sensitive and hidden touch controls. Lastly, what is it with these headphone companies that want you to listen to a horrible tone-def melody every time the device turns on and off…. A simple low tone beep would do just fine.

These were bought to replace a pair of Insignia Ear Buds that stopped working after 5 years. That brand/model was discontinued so I had to go with someone new. I really like these so far. Great sound and very easy to set up the first time. They seem very durable so i hope they last longer than my last ear buds. My only complaint is that the controls are very sensitive. While working out, i have bumped them a few times and skipped to the next song accidentally.

Already had some decent Skull Candy earbuds, but got these specifically for exercising. Great sound/bass, especially for the size! Fit well. Stay in place during my calisthenics routine, even when sweating! Plenty of battery life! Plus, i got them on sale. What's not to love?

Comfortable and they stay in place and they really are water proof. Great battery life too. They're a little hard to wear with glasses and a hat but that's to be existed expected with the over the ear placeholders. Also falling water can trigger the push actions on them, so be careful in the rain or shower.

Let’s start by saying this is my 3rd attempt at earbuds. First two were sorely lacking in quality regardless of price. My first set of Apple buds were expensive, and terrible. Second set was Skull Candy, far less expensive and equally as bad. The fit of the JBL earbuds is MUCH better. I can wear them for hours without discomfort. The ear hooks help A LOT. The sound quality is far better than either of the two previous pair. Although not truly amazing sound, it’s the best I’ve found. I’m not sure that any company can build a better set. A truly great headset probably need to be full sized, over the ear headset. Overall, very pleased.

The sound quality is great. When I don't listen to music or talk on the phone for an extended period of time, it automatically powers off. I still trying to figure out how to power them back on w/o removing them from my ear and putting them back on. These are very comfortable and I sometimes forget that I'm wearing them.
