I connected JBL Everest 310 headphone wirelessly to my iPad Air & my android phone and they worked flawlessly. Setup is quick and easy with Bluetooth. It also comes with an 3.5mm headset cable with an inline mic for wired use. I was streaming audio from Spotify, Plex, and even watched several movies wearing these. Unlike other products this headphones have very balanced sound. While the traditional bass is there, it is very obvious they are providing a much cleaner sound now. I was skeptical to buy these after buying and returning a pair of the high end headphones from other companies. This is best wireless headphone made by JBL and well worth every dime of the purchase. I have owned wired and wireless headphones previously from multiple companies. Those were replaced by JBL Everest 310 headphones as my go-to device for listening music. The hard carrying case is great for maximum protection. Battery life is so good and i was able to listen more than 20 hours with single charge. The headphones physical controls include the power slider, volume buttons, play/pause button (which can be used to answer incoming calls), a Bluetooth pair button, and a ShareMe button. I really liked the ShareMe feature allows you to pair an additional bluetooth headset (regardless of brand) to the headphones and listen on both devices. It works very well. Overall, these headphones are definitely versatile, offering Bluetooth and wired options. They are easy to use thanks to the quick power-on, power-off, pairing, and the various physical controls. I have listed some of the notable features of JBL Everest 31 Headphones. 20 Hour Battery, quickly recharge in 2 hours using Micro USB Built in microphone with echo cancellation technology for crystal clear, hands-free calls. Comfort fit - ergonomically designed to fit the unique contour of listener's ears. Fold and Carry - A sleek flat-fold design with premium hard carrying case to allow maximum portability and protection Overall, I am very happy with these headphones and recommend to anyone.

There are 3 main things I look for in a good pair of bluetooth headphones. 1. Do they sound good and does the bluetooth function well with little to no drops in signal? 2. Does the battery life hold up over a long period of time? 3. Are they comfortable and do they fit well? The JBL Everest hits a homerun on the 1st 2 questions but ultimately the comfort and fit level keeps it from being a 5 star pair of headphones. 1. Sound quality: I think the JBL's are a great sounding pair of headphones. The bass is solid and robust, the highs are clear and not washed out and music sounds really crisp and clear. I was really surprised by how well these headphones actually perform. I haven't had a pair of JBL anything in a long time, so it's good to see them putting out a quality product. I think these headphones easily stand up to beats headphones in the same price range. The bluetooth is very consistent as well. I had a range of about 20-30 ft away from my iphone and it still worked just fine. 2. The battery life on the JBl everest's are very solid. It says 20 hours advertised on the box, and I got roughly that after my first charge. I wore them all day for two days straight and by the end of the 2nd day they needed to be charged. It also comes with a nice carrying case and a bright orange charging cable that you would be hard pressed to lose. 3. This is where the JBL ultimately stumbles. Don't get me wrong, they're comfortable and I enjoy listening to them. But I prefer headphones that wrap around your ear instead of laying on them. The padding squishes on my ears and makes them hot after a while which I ultimately either have to adjust or just remove them altogether. I don't have this problem with my Bose noise cancelling and it's one of the main reasons I normally stay away from anything other than those types. Also, to be honest, the headphones look a little goofy on your head. The padding makes them stick out and they aren't nearly as slick or stylish as other brands. But that's a small gripe. If you want good quality bluetooth headphones at an affordable price I definitely recommend the JBL everest. They have solid battery life, good bluetooth range, and quality sound. Great bang for your buck!

I usually have problems using headphones and earbuds. I've only used over the ear headphones and I find them uncomfortable. Earbuds are tolerable, but my ears tend to itch when I use them. That said, I got these on the ear headphones and tried them out today. Man are they comfy. I opened the box and didn't even need to read the instructions. Good thing to, because that manual is thick and small. I think the font size was many 4. Anyway, the controls are straight forward and the charging port is directly on the bottom of the left ear. That's easy to find also, because L and R are in the ear piece, really big...nice.That's the only thing on the left earpiece, the rest are on the right. They line the edge with 3.5mm jack at the bottom, volume and audio controls on either side of the jack. Lastly there's a slide switch for bluetooth pairing. The ear pieces turn into the headband for compact storage and once locked in place for using, they swivel 45 degrees to the back and just a degree or two to the front. That seems to help, because on my head, I noticed that the pads didn't sit perfect. When they were sitting good for me, they were just a bit cockeyed. If there is a downside, the adjustable headband didn't seem that snug. Opened all the way was too big for even my large cranium, but when I got it about right, I found myself make it one stop smaller to lose some of the sloppy feeling. That's a very small issue to pay for a well made headphone. Lastly, I listened to about 4 chapters of an audiobook and enjoyed every minute of it. I was able to get lost in the story and lay down without the phones falling off. Oh yeah, I don't think these were noise cancelling, but when I put them on, they definitely deadened the outside world.

wow, I am blown away at the great sound these headphones provide. I really enjoy wearing them and they are comfortable as well. Sometimes I just wear them just to block out the sounds of my toddler running around the house banging pots and pans together as I try to do some homework. They fit nicely over my ears and block out nearly all the sound that she makes running around, but the real magic happens when you pair them up via BT and listen to some music. The vocals are very clear and the bass is just right. I found my self noticing certain sounds in songs that I hadn't heard before. Battery life has been great as well. I charged it once and after about 5 hours of music, it is still going strong. I really like the hardbound carrying case that is included with these headphones. I admit, its a little difficult to get them in there, but with some practice, they go in pretty easily, by that I mean you have to fold and twist them just right. The case has markings on how they go in there and there is a little separator piece to protect the ear pieces from banging into each other....another nice touch. JBL has created a great looking, great sounding, great fitting, and all around great package here with these. I look forward to trying them out on my next flight, I suspect they might even sound better than my active noise cancelling headphones that I have used before...even though these don't have noise cancelling in them.

The new JBL Everest 310 headphones promise a long battery life, comfort, ease of use and portability. Do they deliver? First off the Everest 310’s come in a fancy carry case which appears to be very high quality but I find it much too large. (picture included) I’ve seen other brands able to pack away in a much smaller package. Included in the box is the above-mentioned items as well as a 3.5mm cable and a USB charging cable. You might ask why a 3.5mm cable is included and it’s actually a very useful tool. Imagine you are on a long flight and suddenly you run out of charge. Are you finished? No, just plug in the 3.5mm cable into your device and you can continue to enjoy listening to your headphones. On first use, I let the battery charge for 2 hours. The amazing thing about these particular headphones is the battery life. I really did get nearly 20 hours of listening time on a single charge. That is a lot of trips to the gym. I just want to mention the ability to take calls on these headphones. They claim to have an echo cancelling microphone. It probably works really well. I just had trouble talking to people on the headphones. The sound seemed to be very inside my head. Hearing the call in both ears is probably something I would just have to get used to. The person on the other end said they could hear me fine. Using Bluetooth 4.1, I was able to pair very easily with my iPhone and my Mac. I think gone are the days when pairing Bluetooth devices was a complicated mess of trying to hit different buttons at the same time and hoping all the stars aligned. If anything, Bluetooth devices like this pair too well with my phone. If the headphones were on, my phone would automatically switch the call to the headphones if they were nearby. Just something to keep in mind. On to the important question, how do they sound? I think sound is very subjective and you almost need to audition these yourself. The sound is very neutral and not bass heavy. Sure it’s a lot better than those freebees that you get with your phone but they aren’t revolutionary. Given the price, you would not expect that these are top of the line in sound but more of an everyday daily driver. As far as comfort goes, I prefer headphones that go all the way over your ear. The cups on these just rest on the outside of your ear and make the whole body stick out further than some other headphones. The overall styling is not my favorite. My other small nit-picks are. No battery indicator. These stay charged for so long, it’s hard to remember how far into your charge you are. No mobile app. Some of JBL’s higher end headphones have a mobile app that allows some tuning, these do not. Finally, the button placement is a bit crowded and will take time to master while blindly reaching for them. There are a lot of Bluetooth headphones out there. It’s a very crowded field. I recommend you take a look at the ones you like best in the store. Opinions of headphones can be very subjective. Happy hunting.

This JBL Bluetooth wireless headset is well padded for comfort, both on the ears and the head. They come with their own black padded case for transportation. Neat gray graphics shows you how to fold the earmuffs back to get it in the case. Nice touch as are the silk screened "L" and "R" inside each ear muff. In the inside pocket of your case is the orange micro USB charging cable. Two (2) hours on charge provides 10-hours listening time. Easily paired with my google Pixel phone and my tablet for private listening. The all around sound was great as was expected from a HARMON sound system. There is also a 3.5-mm jack for hardwired listening. A neat feature is the ability to share your program with another person via the share button on the headset. Great for a walk or movie in the car with our disturbing others.

Pros 20-hour battery life Foldable design Included carrying case Sleek design Excessive highs without EQ adjustment Sturdy feel Power button slider makes use easy and distinct Wired and wireless design Carrying case included Cons Pressure on ears for larger heads can cause fatigue Lows are weak without EQ adjustment Even with adjustment classic songs sound tinny because bass is missing Volume button awkward Right and left speaker text can be easy to miss for first time users Battery cannot be used to boost volume when plugged into phone Volume low when using hardwired connection to cellphone Most hear about brands who market their on ear, bass heavy headphones claiming they are the best around. JBL looks to be going after someone more interested in overall clarity versus heavy hitting bass. The Everest 310 out of the box includes a carrying case, stereo cable, and charging case. The design folds to allow a nice, flat case that includes a placed to store the stereo cable and charging cable. The headband is a single, sleek band providing a simple and clean look. Just be prepared for a slightly tight feel if you have a larger head. For first time users, it might be difficult to know the left from right since the letters R and L are inside the earcups and appear to be a styling design. After the initial confusion, the letters are hard to miss and help quickly the left from right side. The power button is a slider making recognition simple and easy. Unfortunately, the volume up, play, and volume down are all one massive button with a slight bump for play. This often leads to pausing a track instead of changing volume as you try to feel around and take a best guess which button you have you finger on. Two other buttons on the front include a Bluetooth button and sharing button. The sharing button requires another set of compatible JBL headphones and you can wirelessly share what you are listening to. If you are the type of person who likes heavy, punchy bass these headphones are not the ones you want. Sound attempts to lean towards more balanced. For classic songs or 90’s rock the Everest 310s seem to remove any semblance of bass leaving a vocal heavy, almost metallic sound. Strangely, sounds for drum cymbals sound clear but seem to be missing that makes them more impactful. It’s difficult to describe but on some other high-end headphones the sound has more depth. Although 90’s rock doesn’t have the punch of many modern genres, it does have bass. If you want to bring back the bass you are going to need an EQ. The drivers are most certainly capable of bass. What they don’t seem to be capable of is the more modern, hard hitting bass. If you listen to something like dubstep you can get the bass, but be prepared for it to feel softer than you expect and remove some of the intended impact of the song. If you are using Bluetooth, your options may be limited as not all smartphones offer an EQ over Bluetooth. The good part is you can use them hardwired to work around the issue as more smartphones offer EQ control via stereo cable. This leads to a different shortcoming. The drivers of the headphones are so large that using them hardwired leads to a dramatic reduction in volume. Smartphones just don’t provide much power to the headphone jack and as soon as you plug the Everest 310s in you will find you cannot use the battery to boost power. All power for the drivers comes straight from the cable. Unless your smartphone provides extra power via the headphone jack, hardwired listening might be best left to plugging into an amplifier. Overall, the JBL Everest 310 headphones are a decent offering if not a standout one. If either don’t care about heavy hitting bass or like a software bass sound, after EQ adjustment, they could serve you well. If prefer very distinct highs with loud vocals they have you covered.

I've never had any JBL products, so when I received a pair of JBL Everest 310s to review I was anxious to put them to the test. Out of the box, the headphones look great, they're not overly bulky and when you take them out of the hard case for the first time you can feel the quality of the materials used. This is the first set of on-ear headphones I've used, so i wasn't sure what to expect as far as comfort and noise isolation; I was surprised at both. In no time I had the headphones paired to my phone and was off to the races. The earcups are very soft so wearing the headphones for hours at a time (I wear them while working) is a delight even though you can tell the whole unit is securely in place. The noise isolation is absolutely great! When listening to music even at low volume, it was impossible to have a normal conversation with someone 3 feet away. Of course this was remedied by simply rotating one of the earcups... and it was still comfortable. As far as the sound from this product... incredible! I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but I heard more range out of certain songs using these headphones than I've heard with most of the other products I've used in the past. The dynamic range on these is such that while listening to a talk show that I always listen to, I heard 'lip smacking' that I had never heard before. The sound is truly amazing. The controls have worked flawlessly so far, although I have occasionally had a bit of trouble switching between devices, but that's not a big deal to me. I was really anxious to try the JBL's ShareMe 2.0 functionality because I can think of dozens of times in the past where it would've been useful to have. I thought it would be a major undertaking to get it to work, but it literally took about 30 seconds to pair a set of Bluetooth earbuds with the 310s. Now for one thing that made me contact JBL; the manual. I understand why companies use small print in manuals and have to include 5+ languages, but at least have an online manual for customers to refer to. The print in the quickstart guide is so small I gave up. Most of the controls are similar to other headphones, so it's not a deal breaker, but come on, if the product is listed on your website and you have a link for the manual, have the actual manual there. I've been told it's coming... we'll see. Overall, I'm very pleased with these JBL headphones. I had always heard my friends talk about how great JBL products were and now I see why. These headphones look great, they feel great, and they most definitely sound great! I would recommend these to anyone in a heartbeat.

I've had my Everest headphones on throughout the last couple of days when I can. If my job allowed me to work and wear headphones i'd do it! These have a snug fit that isn't going to give you headache but feel firm and in place. Aesthetically they look and feel great with their matted tones and the actual headphones have a good weight. The sound reaches that peak sound barrier where you cannot hear any outside sounds. They are super comparable to noise cancelling headphones. I drove to work with them on this morning and I was able to take a call with no worries that I would sound muffled. I'm a huge fan of nature sounds and I have been able to nap with these on and drift off to sleep with thunderstorms playing in my ear. Bass... that bass is amazing. Just jammed to that new DNCE song "Kissing Strangers" and these headphones met my expectations and more. There is also a feature where you can share the music you're listening to in your headphones with another bluetooth set of headphones and that is a perk. When I travel I sometimes want to share my movie with my companion or them with me. I love that JBL offers a feature that doesn't require connectors or wires to share the same sound. Summer road trips with my Everest headphones are going to be a blast. Especially since the headphones come with a fancy leather carrying case and a neon orange wire you will never lose.

These are my first over-the-ear bluetooth headphones, so I don't have a point of comparison other than a set of wireless apple earbuds owned by my son. That said, I am very impressed with this set. I use these primarily to listen to music at bedtime, so my main factors in giving the 5 star rating are: 1) They are super comfortable; 2) Battery life is excellent; 3) My wife -a very light sleeper- is not able to hear the music, and 4) From my non-audiophile perspective the sound is very clean and crisp.

I am so impressed with the JBL Everest 310 wireless headphones! I am a music producer and have been looking for a nice pair of headphones for awhile. I was going back and forth between Sennheiser and Sony when i stumbled upon the JBL display in the store and tried these out. I was immediately impressed with the crystal clear sound quality and comfort. They're not too bass heavy like the sony's and sound great with mids and highs too. The ear piece is comfortable for extended periods of time and the plastic headband feels sturdy and not too tight. They are super easy to connect and also come with the headphone cable if you choose to listen not wirelessly. Controls on the right earpiece are also super easy to use. Overall i am super impressed with this set and there needs to be more talk about these headphones!

The sound quality is top notch. My favorite all time headphones is the new 2017 skull candy crushers, and I believe the sound out of the JBLs is on par. Now the headband is not very restrictive, which is why I believe these are gr8 in the comfort department. It is an on the ear design which is surprising for my comfort as I prefer an over the ear headphones. I have not tried to workout with them, but I think these might fall off, because of the less restrictive band, but my purchase was not for working out as I use a cheaper Bluetooth earbuds for that. Really good buy, if you can get them on sale. Hint hint.

I returned these headphones because even for the Black Friday price I paid for them.. I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth, they’re ok but not for the price. I looked through the reviews and thought I would love them but didn’t. I like to hear and feel the bass but these just sound regular. They are also pretty loud, like when you’re next to a person, the person can hear everything even if you don’t have the volume that high. Good headphones but not for me, I got the skullcandy wireless crusher headphones and fell in love with those immediately! Love the bass!

These headphones are the most comfortable I have ever worn. And with them being Bluetooth/Wireless the sound is incredible. And it doesn't take long at all to charge these headphones. And they last forever on a full charge. I'm used to Bose headphones and thought I would just stick with them. However, then Best Buy had a sale on these headphones, I thought I would give them a shot. And I am so glad that I did.
