I had had trouble with my previous (most popular) headphones because they kept cracking at the weak point in the headband. I went into Best Buy and the fellow there gave me good pointers on all the headphones. I selected the JBL Everest 700 headphones because they were sturdier and better-made than the so-called 'best' headphones on the market. I use my headphones all day long. I have had them for 6 months now and they have never given me any problems. I love that the battery seems to last forever! I had them going for 2 days straight without running out of juice. They are supper comfortable, cover the whole ear nicely, and DON'T squeeze too tight so they are headache FREE! But they also stay put when I need to be actively doing my work (lots of bending down and reaching). The sound is great even when the volume is low. And the sound remains great even when loud, without distortion or buzzing. I love these headphones!!

The headphones are great!! I used them for the first 4 weeks without having to charge them at all... I didn't use them all the time but the battery life is probably 10 times longer than my powerbeats wireless (although that really isn't a valid comparison). These headphones have a great sound and cancel noise very well! The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the didn't fit snug on my head. My head is quite small. This allows for comfortability though!! I can wear these headphones for hours with little to no hurt at all. Great for gaming but only with the cord. Although the cord is a 2.5mm output cord to 3.5mm input cord. The cord itself has a mic as well so the only time you use the mic on the headphones is when using bluetooth. There is a slight delay when watching videos but I have never not experienced this with bluetooth... overall my favorite pair of headphones yet!

I purchased the JBL Everest 700 headphones in Gray as my first wireless over-the-ear set on Black Friday, and I could not be happier! Let me start by saying that I did not know anything about the JBL brand until I found these on the shelf at Best Buy. At first, I was skeptical because I had never heard much about the brand from actual consumers. Names like Beats and Bose were king when talking about audio gear, and headphones in particular. But JBL is simply the consumer headphone naming convention for Harman, a much more recognized and respected audio brand! And boy do they live up to that name! Sounds produced are accurate, rich, deep, vibrant...never tinny. A full range is represented well in the highest of frequencies down to the lowest of bass. I would highly recommend heading into a Best Buy store and trying them out for yourself. Hearing is believing! The demo setup will even let you play music from your own device to be 100% sure the audio reproduction of what matters most to you is provided in this set. Beyond the excellent sound quality, this pair of headphones is rated at an incredible 40 hours of wireless playback on a single charge. I listened to an average of 3 hours of music a day for 2.5 weeks and the battery never came close to being depleted (there is a battery status icon on screen when you pair with an iPhone or iPad). Recharging is fast and easy with the included micro-USB to USB cable. Pairing is simple out of the box with the touch of a button after being powered on. The wireless connection seems to be strong and stable, as I have only once found myself have to reset the connection to eliminate crackling and static after I wandered a bit too far away from the audio source. Range is good. It seems to break out around 45 feet away, or about half that through two standard Sheetrock walks. In my three bedroom apartment, I have no problems keeping the connection while roaming with the source stationed in any one of the rooms. Build quality is good. They definitely seem durable, but are made almost entirely of plastic (with the exception of the metal bands above the earpieces that say "Everest" and "700". This means they can be a bit squeaky when putting them on and taking them off. They have a nice weight to them, adjust sizes easily, and are foldable. As far as comfort goes, they could not be better. The ear cups are wrapped in soft and pliable memory foam inside and out, and are covered with a buttery smooth (faux) leather. After wearing these non-stop on a seven hour flight, I was able to take them off without any signs of fatigue or stress to my ears, neck, or head. If I had to criticize anything about these headphones, it would be the lack of a carrying case and the ability to find a third party case that fits. I have been forced to carry them naked, which is not the end of the world since they do seem very durable. It would have been a nice addition though. And finally, there is a button in between the volume rockers on the left earpiece that if activated will put it into sharing mode, which at this point in time seems to require you to turn the headphones on and off to dismiss...which can be a minor annoyance. All in all, super happy with my purchase! I just wish I would have opted for the black. It's so much sexier!

Wanted to make the leap to BT but everything seemed too expensive. My number one pick would been Bose, but I wasn't willing to fork over $279 or $349 for noise cancelling model. This JBL fit the bill $199 retail, $179 on sale. Cool gray color. Limited listening prior to purchase at the store. Very happy with the purchase. I am not an audiophile, so I can't give you a sophisticated analysis but it sounds good in my ears with enough bass for me. For me it's more about convenience rather than absolute best sound. Since I am listening to MP3 files anyways, I am okay with pretty good sound fidelity. It does look big and can feel a bit heavy compared to Bose. It doesn't have active NC but since it is around the ear, it does a good job of blocking out the ambient noise. After the purchase, I had to upgrade the firmware to fix the lipsync issue. Overall, very happy with the purchase. It's a great model for the price.

I got these headphones when they were on sale during black friday. I was impressed that i like them better than the beats by dre headphones that I had prior in terms of comfort and sound. I have tried on all different on and over the ear headphones from low end to high end and I felt like these were the most comfortable and secure true over the ear headphones. They are not overly heavy and snug, nut not tight. maybe bose headphones have better sound but I was not willing to spend so much on a pair of headphones. My only regret about these are the appearance/design. i have them in gray and they look super boring and kinda cheap. I wanted more sophisticated looking headphones especially since I wear them in public and while videochatting.

Was looking for over the ear headphones and in talking with the Best Buy tech he recommend these JBL's for their sound quality yet affordable price. He was right, they sound great, are very comfortable, have bluetooth capability and I got them at a great price.

My sole reasons in getting these was to be able to listen to music and webexs at home, school, and work while blocking out background noise. I am not a gamer or sound aficionado. I got them on sale & used Best Buy Rewards as I would not pay $200 for head phones. These are awesome for my purposes. Comfortable for long wearing times, hold a charge, sounds great to my amateur ears. The ONLY reasons I gave a 4 is because I wish they came with a case and that the controls were on the front as if you lean your head back on anything it powers off. That's annoying.

Received these headphones for Christmas. Have been using them with my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 since. I also paired them briefly with my Surface Pro 3. They work wonderfully with the Apple products. The pairing with the Surface Pro wasn't as smooth. It paired and I got sound, but it kept dropping the pairing (headphones would eventually turn off because they didn't think they were paired). I would imagine that has more to do with Windows 8 then the headphones. The sound is very good. The headphones are very comfortable. While I wish they had active noise cancelling the fit of the headphones does a very good job of blocking ambient noise. The only real complaint I have is the button placement. If you lean your head back against a high back chair you will very likely hit one of the buttons against the chair. Also, it has a feature that allows you to share the Bluetooth connection with another Bluetooth device which is a great concept (haven't tried it yet), but I keep accidentally pushing that share button just taking the headphones off or leaning back against a head rest. That can get annoying as it goes into the share mode and looks for another connection. The only way I've found to cancel that quickly is to turn headphones off and then back on.

I got these on sale for $149, I was looking for a pair of great sounding headphones without breaking the bank. I am very happy with this set, my wife also got a pair and we watched the same movie while on the plane. The ability to pair 1 set of headphones to the iPad, then the other set to the headphones works great, with separate volume control is nice. I think its a good balance of the low and high, music is very good. Videos like others have said has a slight delay, not even a full second, it really didnt bother me that much while watching videos, barely noticed it after a while. You only need the powered on headphones when using bluetooth, if you are wired power on is not needed...

I absolutely love these headphones. They're compact, and they stay charged for a long period of time. They sounds great, and are fairly noise resistant. Very comfortable. My few complaints include the fact that there aren't any real instructions in the box or online on how to have the headset re-connect to a new device, or how to get the headphones to enter into 'pairing' mode. I'm also a little disappointed on the overall look. Obviously, I knew this going in to the purchase. They could look a little more modern.

Really enjoy these headphones. Took me about 2 weeks to finally find some wireless over the headphones I liked. The Beats to me were a little overrated. The bass took over the music a little too much. The JBL Everest had just hit the shelves when I tried them and really liked them. I've only liked them more every time I use them. The battery life is absolutely fantastic. To be honest I don't remember the last time I charged them. Great sound quality across the spectrum. Would definitely recommend.

I consider myself an audio snob... so looking for wireless headphones was a difficult process. I bought these for my iPhone 7 and haven't been disappointed. Comfortable high-fidelity and long range. The battery life is surprisingly good for the volume output of these headphones. Overall, if you are looking for something and can't afford the high price tag for Bose, get these. I prefer these over the 700 elite, due to comfort.

I had a pair of Bose wireless headphones (AE2W v1) that I liked mostly, but never thought that they were comfortable enough. I sort of used them, but let them go a while ago and moved to a set of earbuds instead. Just recently, I realized that I didn't have to carry headphones back and forth to work any longer (I started to work from home), so I thought that I'd invest in some over-ear kind again. These JBLs have worked out extremely well. They fit great, block a ton of sound, and have good sonic reproduction. I'm not exactly an audiophile, but I can tell cheap headphones from expensive ones. These JBLs sound (to me) pretty much as well as the Bose headphones did, with the notable exception that they cost about $100 less. Further, I feel that the build quality of the JBLs is higher. That is, the JBLs feel more solid on my head than the Bose did. I'm really quite happy with these headphones. My only gripe is that when using the headphones as a cell phone headset, my voice is pretty low, since the eadpads block so much noise. That's a pretty small price for the rest of how much I enjoy these headphones. I would definitely recommend them.

I use these to primarily workout in. I bought these on Black Friday and only got them for $100, but its worth it for that price. Pros: -Comfy. The ear cups are plush as a soft pillow -The headphones (at least mine) last for about 10 hours on a single charge for about a 1.5 hour workout. -Sleek design. Cons: -Cable uses a 3.5mm on the end, BUT uses a 2.5 for the headphone plug in. I feel like they're trying to keep it proprietary, so you have to buy from JBL for another cable if you lose it instead of buying a standard 3.5 to 3.5 cable. -Left side stopped working on the cable setup. I can only get both on the bluetooth setup. I would recommend this product ONLY if it's on sale. They do sound better than beats, but why would you spend $250 for mediocre Beats when these go on sale from time to time and sounds much better?

I've tried Beats, Turtle beach, Monster, and Bose headphones and these are my favorite by far. User preference is very subjective when it comes to headphones so if you like bass that drowns out the mid's and highs "Beats", then these are not the headphones for you. If you are an enthusiast who enjoys the full spectrum but doesn't want to spend the money for "Bose" then these are the perfect alternative. I have these on for up to 6 hours while I work and they stay comfortable the whole time. The battery life is phenomenal and the controls are intuitive. I'd recommend these to anyone who enjoys the full dynamic ranges of music and needs a comfortable set of over ear headphones.

Easy to connect to bluetooth devices, fine, robust and realistic sound for the price. Much better than Bose sound cancelling headphones, which cause a weird pressure in the ears. Holds a charge for a very long time. Also, you can hear a person if they talk to you and you can even respond without unintentionally shouting. Good equipment.

I recently purchased these headphones to replace a pair of wired headphones. I was skeptical at first to purchase a pair of wireless headphones... my only regret is that I did not purchase them sooner. Not having a wire on while at work is a great luxury, I am not confined to my desk and tethered to my phone or tablet. These headphones pair easily with any device I have tried so far. These headphones sounds great as well. The volume and navigation features located on the back of the ear pieces that sync with the device are a nice touch as well. I don't have to press pause on my phone whenever I have an interruption. It is a little tricky at first to avoid hitting the buttons when adjusting or removing the headphones, but not a deal breaker. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a discount at the checkout counter when I paid for these headphones. They were marked down and and clearance price adjusted as well. The compact folding design helps when traveling with the headphones and they are comfortable to wear as well. They do not get tight or uncomfortable after long periods of use. I know there are other brands and headphones out there but these were priced right.

Before buying these, I was heavy on beats.. I love bass.. But after breaking several pair of beats because of my big head lol.. I needed something with better build quality and a bit bigger.. I browsed for weeks, reading review after review.. Finally went up to best buy to see what that had for under 300.. These are easily the best sounding headset I have ever owned or even tested.. All sounds and instruments are clear and sound beautiful! JBL has done a great job with these.. When I first purchased there was a delay or sync issue when watching videos but after doing a firmware update (found on JBL website) all has been great.. Almost 2 years later and they still sound amazing and they haven't broken on me.. Amazing headset.. Definitely worth the money..
