Wanted an affordable Bluetooth speaker for my wife that she can use in the bathroom and kitchen with out the worry of it getting wet. I wanted a quality sounding speaker that was affordable. This product is the best of both worlds.

This thing packs a punch - I love it! It's small enough, easily charged, and gets LOUD. Definitely worth the purchase.

I have had this for about 6 months, bought it originally for work in a shop environment. Since then have used it on a boat for a party, the shooing range, as well as at home. At home I have used it in my bedroom for playing music from my computer. The battery life has been great, and the sound is excellent for the size and being battery powered. It has clear vocals, and decent bass, it won't replaces having a powered sound system or even a hight end sound bar by itself. I am interested in getting second to set them up as left and right speakers and see how they would do filling a larger room.

I spent a little more than I had planned, but it was well worth the extra cash. The sound is really good and the battery life seems to be quite a bit longer than what the product states. Easily syncs with my Samsung phone, iPod, iPad and easily switches between devices.

I love the way the music plays, good volume as well as battery saving, plus is not that big so is easy to carry around, will be buying more in the future.

Before purchasing the Flip 3, I explored the JBL Charge 3 and the UE Boom series. My main areas I wanted in a speaker were great sound, rugged design, and good battery life. The JBL Flip 3 fulfils those needs. The sound overall is great. Bass is pretty good considering the size, but the mids sound superb. The sound quality stays clear even at higher volumes, which works great in outdoor "active noise" settings. The build quality and design feel sturdy and I have no fear of it being bumped around a bit. The battery life is good, I usually get between 10 and 11 hours of mid-level volume (so basically the advertised battery life). My one complaint is that it's not completely waterproof, like the Charge 3. It is splash proof, which I've tested, but the full grade waterproofing would have made this model a full 5 stars. But what you do get is well worth it for the price. I'd probably buy again if given the chance.

This speaker is amazing. My only regret is not getting the 4 because it has more features. The Flip 3 is so small but the sound always blows people away, it's hilarious. Has great sounds for turning on, off, and syncing. I have had other bluetooth speakers that make god-awful sounds upon startup and this one just plays the string of a guitar in high quality. It also good at syncing, I have never had a problem with any device not being able to connect. Good things really do come in small packages every now and then !

I bought this speaker as a smaller option to have around than its bigger counter part, the JBL Charge 2. Honestly, I was surprised of how the sound almost matched the Charge 2, with the exception of less bass. I however feel the sound coming out is a bit clearer than the Charge 2. I have heard the Beats pill and can easily say hands down this beats it! I highly recommend it for someone looking for a well priced high quality speaker.

Different class of a well quality brand name that never disappoint the true believer of it products. I always love JBL outstanding performance, great sound , and great bass . This unique switch just goes show they still stany true to the name. Excellence!

Very clear sound and what's best. It's so compact . Easy to transport whenever a go . Pairs with my phone or tablet in a second . Awesome speaker

This was a gift and I love it! Easy to hook up and easy to carry around with you from room to room or even into the truck where the speakers are shot ... Now this one piece sits up from on the console and sounds great! Very powerful bang for your buck!

I absolutely LOVE this speaker. Sound is great, regardless of the amount of bass. One of the best features is being able to talk on the phone using the speaker. I was unsure how this feature would work before purchasing the speaker but I'm am pleased.

Once charged the Flip3 is super easy to pair with your bluetooth device with both music and phone functionality. The sound quality is amazing for such a small speaker, but the microphone is mediocre, so speak clearly and loudly, and stay close. The phone, volume up/down, and bluetooth scan buttons are good-sized raised buttons--easy to identify by feel. However the power and special JBL Connect are merely flat buttons which are hard to find if you can't look directly at them. After being depressed the power button lights up, but when waking up the power button is sometime hard to find. Overall, worth the price and more.

Small, portable speaker with great sound. Sounds even better with a second one or another JBL speaker (like the pulse 2, and xtreme). It's easy to connect to smartphones and other devices.

Got the speaker with my mom. She wanted something player songs on from my iPhone. This little guy is awesome, works just like salesman said, and it sounds so much better than many more expensive ones we saw. Have to recommend it for sure! And the cool thing, it comes in red to mom's favorite color !

Rich lows and highs, great battery life. A little pricey, but worth it, in my opinion. I do wish I'd know they came in black, before I purchased the light blue-green. On the other hand, I'll probably be able to find it easily. :)

I received this for my birthday and I absolutely love it. Compact and loud. Bluetooth capabilities and Splash proof features.

I highly recommend this product for its price and amazing quality. With black Friday coming I do recommend the Flip 4 due to it being newer and the price being 40% below the usual MSRP, however if you can find the Flip 3 for an even better price don't hesitate. Other than the waterproof feature of the Flip 4, they're identical. The Flip 3 has great Bluetooth connectivity and sound quality. The battery life is superb, and will well last a long day's use.
