I didn't want to spend too much money on a portable Bluetooth speaker but I didn't sacrifice quality with this speaker! Really great sound and I love that it has a wristlet handle so that I can carry it around easily.

Was looking for a speaker for my 13 yr old son and this was the perfect choice! He loves his speaker and thought this was the best christmas gift! The sound is great for such a compact device and it does the job.

I purchased the flip 3 to use at the office for conference calls with my employes. The Bluetooth works great and everyone in the room can hear what's going on. We tried it out with music and were also pleased.

This is the second flip that I've bought,the first one four years ago,this generation plays longer and has better base.it is a gift for a family member, who loves it.mine still works great as a job site radio.

JBL was always known for strong, robust sound with deep bass, clear highs and plenty of volume. The Flip 3 does nothing to damage that reputation! I bought this for my Dad for X-mas, he was able to easily pair it with his iPhone and could not believe the full, clear sound as well as the battery life. I like the JBL's sound better than the Altec-Lansing MiniLife 2 that I have and so far, the JBL has been rugged and reliable. Highly recommended and would buy another.

This is my first wireless speaker. It works really great. Setup took seconds and I was listening. I'm really happy with the sound quality and volume. The price point was really reasonable for the quality.

The sound is great and it connects to his iPhone very easy. You can even answer your phone with it when it is connected. It works for Pandora or just the music on your phone. You can also connect it to your laptop with an auxiliary cord (purchased separately).

Along with my new phone and the two mini SD cards I carry with 40 GB of CD's on them, I needed a travel speaker. This JBL 'tube' is perfect with big rich sound a semi-waterproof case, Bluetooth conections, and more battery power than most. All for half the price of many. Love it and had the best experience at a music festival in Lafayette, LA this year where I turned it on at an indoor pool room and blasted the sound to my utter enjoyment!

Solid speaker. I use it in my bedroom/ shower and it gets pretty loud. You can use it outdoors in the summer time in the backyard too, to host a small group. Indoors, it can function as a party speaker but you're better off using it during a pregame than an actual function. Fills the room, nice clean, crisp sound.

Its small but it has a good wide range of sound. Not too expensive and very satisfied with the purchase.

I had not heard of the JBL Bluetooth speaker and found it on a good deal. This little speaker has an awesome, clear sound with great base. It's small enough to take anywhere. Great buy!

This is my first JBL product and I have to say that I'm very impressed with this little speaker. It has very good sound quality and the battery life is very good. I had a party this past weekend and used the speaker and it lasted 5 straight hours before I had to plug it in. It's a great speaker for the money,

I purchased the Flip 3 for my girlfriend to use around the house as blue tooth speaker to pair with her phone. I was looking for something with ease of use, set up, battery life and sound quality. The Flip 3 met or exceeded all the criteria. Color options were varied and the teal was the exact color she wanted. Ease of Use: EASY Unit came out of the box fully charged. Only had to turn on device and press bluetooth bottom to make discoverable. Pairing with iPhone 6 was as easy as any other device. Buttons: Power, Volume, Battery Level Indicator, Blue Tooth, and JBL sync button for pairing with others Flip devices. Come with a USB cord to charger but not connector for wall outlet so you'll need one of those if not charging directly through USB. Also has an available AUX out, if you want to plug straight in. The charger plug and aux are thanking tucked away behind a sealable latch. I assume this helps keep moisture out but luckily haven't had to find out. Battery Life: AVERAGE Battery life was as expected. Box advertises 8 hours but in use gets about 4.5 hours. Okay with that as thats about normal for competing devices in this price range. Standby time may be closer to advertised. An improvement I'd like to see would definitely be extended battery life. Sound Quality: GOOD Very happy with sound quality. For the size and being a single speaker device, audio is clear and loud. The additional of the two small woofers makes a big difference on the low end compared to other similar devices. Have used device with a variety of musical styles and all sound good, especially electronic and music with deep bass. Again, for the size, it's a about what'd you ask for. Unit is splash resist, not water proof. Worth noting. Also arrives with a nifty tether that allows you connect to a d-ring or a hook. Works great on the porch with flower pot hook. Hanging it up gives a fuller sound. We used it for a party and actually had to turn it down to hear folks talking. Purchased a second one for myself because I was pleased with unit and offers the capability to link two units together through one audio source for full stereo sound. For the price and quality, definitely worth a look compared to similar devices. Recommended.

Fantastic speaker to own. Great fidelity in sound quality and very easy to use. Good on-off switch to silence the speaker. Bluetooth work just fine. Loved the product and the price.

Small speaker that is durable and puts out loud, good quality sound. I have one for myself and have purchased a couple more for gifts. Never have issues out of it.
