I purchased a UE Boom 2 and JBL Flip 4 because I was undecided which one I wanted. After listening to both, the Flip 4 WON by a landslide ! The UE Boom 2 is OVERRATED and more expensive. The Flip 4 is hands down the BEST. I also purchased the Flip 4 on sale for $79.99. Save yourself some time researching bluetooth speakers and purchase this speaker. You will not find a better speaker at this price and you will not be disappointed ! Five Stars !!

I bought this to replace 2 other speakers I wore out. I was intrigued by the ability to connect more JBL speakers together which would save me from carrying a speaker with me as I moved around. My idea was to get several of them to place through out my house so I can hear my music/audio books no matter which room I was in. So I bought a second one and paired it. I turned them on and connected them. I was pleased to hear the same thing from both speakers without any delay! So I bought 2 more! I used the first 2 a lot while I waited for the second 2 to be delivered, I noticed the sound would fade in and out of one and then the other. After some thought I realized my phone (which they were paired with) can only play music on one Bluetooth speaker at a time. So, I unpaired one of them and connected it just to the other one. It worked great! When the second 2 speakers arrived I didn’t pair them with any device. Now when I want listen as I work, I turn on the one speaker that is paired with my phone, then turn on the other 3 speakers and connect them to the first one. I now place them through out my house, hear my music no matter where I am, and don’t have to carry my phone and speaker! A bit pricey but I took advantage of holiday sales and open box items.
