I got this speaker to have for travel and outdoor use. It's nice and compact, easily fitting into my backpack inside or strapped via the attached cable. The sound quality is good enough to fill an outdoor area. I was impressed that it was able to operate normally even while submerged in the water. It charges via USB-C which is nice. That being said the sound quality is not extraordinary, I find that the bass emphasis can be a bit much. I also dislike the fact that it doesn't have an auxiliary input making bluetooth it's only form of connection. This is okay because the pairing process is super easy but it would have been nice to include an analog input method.

I am 100% satisfied with the quality of this speaker after using it for six hours or so. I sampled several music genres, listened to news, and watched a couple of movies. The small drivers move a lot of air to reach low in the frequency range. The mids are nice and the highs clear without being fatiguing. One note: My phone, Samsung S10, and speaker needed a reset after installing JBL connect and syncing with Bluetooth. I look forward to many enjoyable hours of listening.

Love this thing! I have this setup behind my drums when I play in the garage. I can hear the music just fine while playing. We also set this up in our backyard when we have people over. Works great!

Great speaker good battery life not too heavy of a speaker

Nice little speaker. Bought for a dorm room use. Battery life is good, nice size, easily connects, good volume. We have one we have had for years we bought to use outside but we use it all over the house and travel with it. It still works great.

If you're going to invest in a great speaker might as well get a really good one that is waterproof. Yes, up to three feet. So we would leave it near the pool on the side of the three feet pool and swim around and we don't mind that it gets wet. The sounds sounded amazing. It is super loud. It is a very clear sound and I highly recommend people who actually like their music loud and enjoy their music clear. I say go for this one. I tried tons of other brands and UBL never lets me down.

JBL makes reliable products. This is no exception. For the price point you cannot beat the quality. Are there better speakers for a higher price? Yes. But the JBL is durable and has a good sound. I'm happy with the purchase.

This JBL bluetooth speaker is awesome. Bass is top notch and so is volume. Easy to pair and use. Instructions are clear and legible. You can not go wrong with this bluetooth speaker. JBL is first rate.

Seriously good sound from this compact unit with appropriate expectations given its size. Enough bass and slightly rolled off treble. Is it audiophile quality? No. But, its a great little option from a sound perspective at this particular price point and form factor. Some fun colors available too! I also have the larger Charge and the sound signature is similar. IPX7 is bonus for your outdoor activities.

I purchased this for my dad as a gift. He loves it and uses it every day. He is 82 and it is easy for him to use.

I have two of these and have been using them daily for over a year! I love the stereo sound when they are both connected. And they are super durable, these have been dropped dozens of times and they still look and sound amazing! Highly recommend!
