Gym friendly!

This is a great set of headphones to wear in the gym or while performing any physical activity. Headphones sit tight and secure in the ear canal and do not fall out no matter how you move. They are sweat proof and come with a set of silicone tips (3 sizes) and silicone "jackets" that could be put over each individual earpiece to provide a better fit. I did not notice any discomfort after wearing them to the gym every day for a week.
Sound quality is very good for the size, it's remarkable how accurate the sound is, no artificial EQ or encoding imperfections.
Carrying case has a magnetic holders for each ear piece so they stay secure and don't fall out when you open the case. Single charge is enough to last for 24 hours of listening!
One thing that feels missing - there is no app to control the headphones, no firmware updates or any additional settings. That may be good though if you just want a simple good workout set.

Great sounding ear buds in a compact form

JBL makes a great set of wireless ear buds here and they're well worth it. I had a hard time getting these buds to suit my ears with the comfort and fit in it's original form out of the box. Luckily there are silicone ear bud covers which help to conform to my ears a bit better.
Overall the sound quality is very nice and makes it easy to pair with my iPhone XR. The connectivity is solid and I was able to get great range with the bluetooth distance.
I've always been hesitant to stay away from ear buds like this because they never fit my ears well. I usually lean towards an ear bud that has a ear hook for added comfort and stability. Thankfully JBL has some extra accessories included and that did the trick for me. I needed the added comfort and grip of the silicone and I was all set to go.

Very Nice Truly Wireless Earbuds for Work or Play

I have used a number of wireless headphones over the years and these JBL’s have so far been one of my favorites!
PROS:
- My biggest concern with True Wireless Earbuds is they will be too bulk or will constantly fall out. The JBL Frees does not do either! They are very slim in the ear profile which I liked and I used the standard earpiece they have and they did not fall out. I worked out in these while lifting weights, running, and playing sports and they did not fall out once. Very impressed!
- The sound is great right out of the box. There is no app to tweak them which is nice to not over complicate things but still can be helpful. I would say they are more bass heavy but it is not over done.
- The controls are simple on these. You just take them off, they auto turn on, connect to your device, and you’re off! I used them with a few different devices and I never had any connectivity issues which was great. There is a small lag when trying to play/pause something with the buttons on the earbuds but it wasn’t a big deal.
CONS:
- My biggest issue is you can not control the volume from the earbuds. You have to turn it up and down from the device your connected to. The earbuds have forward, back, play/pause, but is missing volume control and I really wish it had it.
- I really did not like the lack of voice prompts on the earbuds. As in, no “ON” “OFF” or “BLUETOOTH CONNECTED” voice. Instead it’s just some different beeps which aren’t entirely clear for me.
- On that note, there is not great way to tell what the battery level is at. The earbuds won’t tell you but the case does have an indicator but it’s for the case not the buds.
- When the buds are charging, the case will remain on for awhile with lights showing while the case is closed. I get it’s nice to see the charging level while it’s closed but I think it would preserve battery if it didn’t do that
- I wish the case had either USB-C charging or supported Wireless charging for the case. Really would have been a huge step to the future.
BOTTOM LINE: Although I wish these had more features and usability, they really are a great pair of earbuds. They are easy to use while sitting at work or running around outside and that’s exactly what you want from something like this. If you are in the market for a pair of True Wireless Earbuds to use across multiple devices for multiple purposes you will mainly love these!

I can't say enough good things about these earphones! I've always been a big fan of JBL speakers/headphones, and these are no exception. They fit snugly in the ear, and I really like the low profile - much smaller than many other true wireless buds I've seen. I've used them working in the yard and while working out - they have never fallen out once. Sound quality is excellent - lots of bottom end without being muddy. They hold a charge for a long time - I've yet to drain them when fully charged, and the charging case is a great value (and it also holds a charge for a long time)
The only thing I would change is having phone call audio in both buds (only in the left), but l rarely talk on the phone anymore, so not a huge deal.
Highly recommended!

No wire-free earphones have hit the bullseye yet. AirPods top the list but the slippery plastic just couldn’t stay in my ears despite maneuvers such as switching orientation, L in right ear, artificial hooks, sleeves, etc. Jabra Elite series is more expensive, does have a very good sound, fit, and call quality, but I experience issues with its left earpiece. JayBird Run is just a failure on the connectivity front despite having an above average sound quality for both music and calls.
JBL Free came next in the list in the sub $150 wire-free range for me to try out.
Pro 1: Sound quality is on par with comparables such as Bose SoundSport and Jabra Elite — if you get the fit right. Remember the device should fit snugly in your ears. It shouldn’t move. And almost no air should enter your ears and you shouldn’t be able to hear anything but the music. I was able to achieve the fit using Comply ear tips that I have but faced an issue when I did so.
Con 1: Neither tips that came with the earphones work for me. I noticed that the tips are quite “short” in height so when I used tips that work for me, fitting the earphones back into the case became a hassle. Using out of the box tips allows the earphones to beautifully attach themselves magnetically right away. My solution was to simply remove the tips and store them in between the two earphones while they’re in the case. I took half star off for this lack of flexibility. It may have been possible to design the case to allow slightly taller tips.
Pro 2: Built to last. I don’t see any issues with this. The buttons are much better than Jabra Elite and don’t cause pain to the ears when pressed
Con 2: The controls themselves took a bit getting used to.
Pro 3: Bluetooth connectivity seems better than JayBird Run and somewhat on par with Jabra Elite.
Con 3: I did experience a couple of cutting out but not enough for me to return them to the stores. JayBird Run went back. Hope it doesn’t become a deal breaker in the near future.
Pro 4: Call quality is okay. The person was able to hear me okay but...
Con 4: I took another half star off because the microphone let all the surrounding sound in and the person on the other end complained that it’s too loud. And it was loud. And the microphone did a mediocre job cancelling the noise.
Four stars are still on here. Buy these if AirPods do not work for you and if your budget is under $150

the Jabra elite were probable the best all around followed by sound quality of the samsungs, but they just didnt get loud enough and sound was mediocre across gerera's. These dont have all the options of some others but sound better with different genera's over all and the ease of use not to mention the fit. I have only used them for walking around and light stuff around the house but do not expect to have any issues at the gym or with long periods of wear. They rarely drop out with Iphone but with mp3 player they drop out frequently. Battery seems to be fine.

The sound is good, I have tried all the combinations of earpieces and sleeves/no sleeves and they just don’t want to stay in very good. It is ok if I’m just sitting at my desk working, but start moving around a lot and they just don’t stay well. Another distraction is the mono phone call in right ear only. Hopefully the next generation changes fit and phone call issue. Charging case is excellent. They are nice and I would still recommend.

Overall they are good I enjoy the look battery life and they dont hurt my ears when I wear them for a few hours. I've worn them when i cut my grass and they do a good job of muffling out the sound. One thing I will say if the right headphone is not on the other will not connect so if your battery runs low and you have to charge the right one you can just switch to the left and continue on with your business. If charge is no issue they are great

Overall music quality is good and the carrying case has its own battery which charges the buds which is nice. Although the case is kinda large for your pocket. Only complaint is that phone calls only play through the right ear. I don’t know it that is standard with air pods but I’m not a huge fan. Also volume isn’t quite as loud as I would like on all media.

These are great wireless earbuds for every day use. They have great sound quality. The charge lasts longer than I have ever needed; they have never run out of power in use. Cons: they dont pause upon removal, and are rather bulky. In use at the gym one will occasionally fall out. If you are a runner these may not be the best choice, otherwise I would recommend and would buy again.

I've had several JBL products in the past with satisfying results therefore I decided to buy these JBL true wireless In-ear Headphones Gen 2. They come in a very nice circular plastic case that is also used as a charger. I'm surprised with the duration of the battery, I use them maybe three to four hours daily while watching movies on my tablet and I probably don't need to charge the case maybe until the fifth or sixth day. I used to have a pair from a different brand that I would need to charge every other day. My only inconvenience is that somehow the left ear headphone sometimes disconnects and I would need to do the pairing again. It may be happening maybe two or three times a week but it is still annoying. Also the size is just a bit too big but still comfortable. I would still recommend these if you really don't want to spend the big bucks on other models.

Bought these for my partner as a gift and tried them out myself before inevitably returning them, though would highly recommend giving them a shot if you’re looking for a great wireless every-day earbud that’s a set to a decent price. Honestly, the audio was surprisingly great. It was a little muddy on the low-end bass — and take this with a grain of salt since I’m a pretty harsh audio snob — but the highs were crisp, clean and the mids produced perfect sets for anyone who’s going to be listening to a lot of podcasts, rock, or jazz. Someone who’s a big R&B, Electronica, Rap or Blues fan though would probably be a lot happier with the Sony line up with their ultra-clear bass — fair warning, their highs will get brittle until the wx1000s so stay with Master and Dynamic if you want it all. But the thing that got me was the fit. I’ve got Dumbo ears and my partner complains of tiny little ears so we hit both ends of the spectrum and found that we kept having to readjust the earbuds to fit snuggly.
All in all, a great sound but I wish they had something to snug them in a little better.

Great sound quality. The quality of sound that these produce is awesome. I just wish my phone would let me turn them up louder but my phone has a safety limit on them. They are easy to use and last a long time. I bought these while on sale so thr prices was way worth it.

I was using the Skull Candy Indy's first and they were good but still BIG for my taste and I didn't like the stick coming out of the ear design like the Airpods.
But these have done great for the price and great with sound. They are PUSH BUTTON so you may think you are going to be shoving them in your ear whenever you use the buttons but they are pretty responsive without too much pressure and I like that.
The Bluetooth connectivity is the ONLY thing I not too fond of but they do just fine with slight adjustment. I like to carry my phone in my left back pocket and when i go outside I can get slight dropout every now and then.... but I have had this happen with my other headphones as well.
The right bud is the Master and that can get "UGH" when you've been using that one all day long then it dies and now you have to WAIT til it charges to use then again but ... such is the same with most others in the price range....
SOUND- is great and bass is nice... JBL did well with the balance

My review is based on the fact that I purchased these on sale at $75.00
Sound is very good, I wish for a little more on the lower end (bass) but I still really like the sound quality.
Super easy to pair with my phone and they automatically connect the moment I pull them out of the charging case.
I havent had any complaints from anyone when using them to answer the phone.
Voice to text works flawlessly, better than speaking into my phone actually.
Connectivity not so great, they do tend to cut in and out when my phone is in my pants pocket or when I'm more than 5 or so feet away from my phone. When I use them my phone is always either on my desk, the center console in my car or my armband when working out so this does't bother me a lot but I wish connectivity was a little better.
I haven't really put battery to a test so can't make a fair comment on this.
Again, I paid $75 for them so I am so far happy with them.

especially cars service to my phone... the only down side is they are bit large if you wear a helmet, they squish your ears...

Sound Great. Get them on sale. I have had these for a few months and they still sound great. (Just as good as Air Pod Pro's) I have both and these last longer between charges, and are way cheaper, sure the Pro's have more functions but for listening to music why pay more. I have these the Pros (cause they look cool) and the Galaxy 2s and to me for the price I can take these kayaking and don't have to worry about loosing 1 of these. The Mac insurance is only good for 1 side LOL.

I am still relatively new with earbuds. I think this is my second pair. I am impressed with the overall sound quality and ability to block out noise. No, they are not noise cancelling except by the nature of their design as essentially ear plugs. The fit is secure, almost too much so sometimes.
The only issue I had was that the left earbud started having difficulty connecting at times. Then it started having a problem with continuous charging while in the case, long after the right had stopped.
This happened within about a month of my purchase. I took them back and got a replacement pair today. Hopefully, I won't have any more problems.
Good buy and I do recommend them.

Have been using these for a few months. The quality of sound is good I'm taking off a star for design. I feel my ears aren't small but that there's weren't designed for ears my size or smaller. The earned itself is kind of big. But the part that fits into my ear fits fine but it came with a sleeve to protect the ear bud as well as larger fittings and I can't use any of those because then these wouldn't fit in my ear. these don't stay in my ear if doing any vigorous movement like bouncing or jumping or even looking down for too long. Oh and no volume control on device. Must change volume thru your phone
